"Amazing service! Very comfortable bed and a super good equipped gym; which also has free bottled water. They even have organic tea at the bar and free welcome drinks, which are delicious, a gin cocktail with black tea. Can highly recommend this hotel. And it’s location is perfect, close to city center and main station."

"We felt really comfortable; everyone was super nice, from the concierge to the service staff and reception. It was about a 5-8 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious; they kept refilling it, even right before closing time. The hotel's dog, Flora, did the best job :-) The room was very nice and clean!!! Beautiful courtyard and delicious gins at the bar. This is now our favorite hotel in Dortmund. We highly recommend it."

"Booked this hotel for one night stay after catching a football match at Signal Iduna Park. The walking distance from the stadium was quite a distance but it was quite close to the Dortmund Hbf. Nothing to complain about it. The room was cleaned and cosy but there was no cups and mugs available, the bathroom was nice but with one lotion for all 🤦🏻♂️ the bed is the worst, is like sunken in in the middle of the mattress, what the heck???!!!!"

"Can I say that this hotel is simply too good! First of all, the location is great. Turn left from the train station and walk for 6-10 minutes. The red sign is easy to find. As soon as you come in, you can feel all kinds of avant-garde lights, and the screen is also beautiful. The bathroom is downstairs, and it is free without a room card. Then there are all kinds of free tea and coffee next to the front desk that you can take away. The front desk service is also good. A reminder that if you check in early, you will be charged 30 euros. Luggage storage is also very convenient. There is a large breakfast table with at least three kinds of cakes, fried seasonal vegetables, roasted potatoes with skins, fried eggs, etc. There are also many types of cheese and cold ham, and there are many choices of pickles, and there are 6 kinds of yogurt. There are many Japanese living here, and they can also clean every day. It is much better than the deserted hotel I stayed in in Carmen before, and the price-performance ratio is really high"

"The location is excellent. It's right across from a pedestrian street, so finding places to eat is incredibly convenient. It's also just a short walk from the main train station. Plus, with the subway station directly opposite, getting anywhere is a breeze."

"Good front desk service, poor breakfast service! I have been to Germany on business several times, and I have never seen such a waiter. I would video with my family in the morning. I used headphones and talked for a while. A male waiter nodded my arm and called me quiet! Because I am alone and abroad, I don't want to have any security risks. I endured it and hung up the video. By the way, the restaurant is not very big. The top few foreigners diagonally across from me are also talking, and I can hear them. Two people at the table next to me are also talking. My voice is about the same height as theirs. I am a Chinese, so call me quiet? Really the first time I met! Stayed for two nights, I didn't eat breakfast here the next day, really a very poor waiter. Of course most of the foreigners I met are still very friendly!"

PPieter KooiLocation is excellent with walking distance from themain railway station in Dortmund. Another advantage is that the bus stop for the airport express, which is opposite the railway station on the left hand side is also only a five minute walk. The reception was very helpful and supportive. The room was clean nd quite. Wifi worked well. Behind the hotel are many shops and restaurants in about 10 minutes walk.

Unlike other A&O hotels, towels are charged and there is no guest kitchen.
The common space is spacious and there is also a kids' space, which is commendable.
There are many cheap and easy-to-eat restaurants nearby, including kebabs, so you will not have any trouble finding food.
They will also look after your luggage before check-in and after check-out.
The staff are not very friendly, but this is not a particular issue.

GGuest UserVery modern but basic hotel. The entrance smells moldy but the rooms are nice and clean. I just didn’t like that I had an emergency door in my room which connects to the room next door; it was so thin that I could hear the guy next door talking on the phone. Literally every word.

GGuest UserWhile checking out this morning the manager at the hotel said the credit card Trip.com provided kept getting declined, so we were forced to pay twice. While I understand there was an issue with the trip.com payment, this should be handled by the hotel and the booking service. Or they should have alerted me earlier during my stay and not while I was about to check out with a travel connection that was close to being missed. Instead of public transport I had to spend 25 euro on a taxi to get to the train station.
