"I honestly cannot say enough good things about this homestay in Dengfeng. It was the highlight of our trip to the Shaolin Temple area! The Room: The room was incredibly spacious—way bigger than we expected! And it was very, very clean. Everything from the bedding to the bathroom was spotless and well-maintained. It felt like a home away from home. The Location: Absolutely fabulous. We were close to all the main sights, including the Shaolin Temple and Mount Song. It made getting around so easy, and there were great local restaurants just steps away. The Staff (The REAL Highlight): The staff were super, super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. But one moment truly touched our hearts. We were running late for breakfast and arrived just as they were about to clear everything. Even though there was still plenty of food left, we only ate a little because we felt bad keeping them waiting, and we quickly headed out. Just as we were about to leave, the owner came running after us with two packs of milk in her hands. She said, "You didn't eat much breakfast, so please take this milk before you go." It honestly melted our hearts. That small, thoughtful gesture showed just how much she truly cares about her guests. Final Verdict: If you're visiting Dengfeng, do yourself a favor and stay here. Spacious, spotless, perfectly located, and run by the warmest, most generous people. We will definitely be back!"

"The best guesthouse I've ever stayed in! The towels were incredibly soft and comfortable! The decor was beautiful and exquisite, and the environment was clean and hygienic. The location is right at the foot of Mount Song, with an absolutely stunning view of the mountain! There's a terrace where you can have breakfast—perfect for taking photos! The breakfast was nutritionally balanced. There are many delicious local restaurants nearby. The owner is very nice! Always willing to help! The service was very attentive and thoughtful! The bathtub was incredibly comfortable! The wet and dry areas were well separated! Overall, it's comparable to a five-star hotel! Highly recommended! 👍"

"The room was extremely dirty. The sheets were definitely not changed. When I first entered, I was still saying that the facilities were good. Later that night, there were traces of mucus on the table next to the bed. I didn't even wipe it off. After staying there for one night, my body was covered with red envelopes. It's a new store. Even basic hygiene is not cleaned properly. If I'm the only one with this, other reasons are more likely. My partner is a grown man with thick skin. His body is also itchy. The hygiene is worrying."

"The owner is really welcoming. Luckily, our room got upgraded! There's a tall, handsome guy who makes delicious breakfast. The rooftop is super cool in the evening, perfect for enjoying the view. It's just a 10-minute walk to Songyang Academy, and there are shared electric bikes right outside for an even quicker ride. You can do laundry after hiking and ordering takeout is convenient too. Highly recommend!"

"Located about 800 meters from the Songshan Visitor Center, it's very convenient to take a taxi to Songyue Temple and Shaolin Temple. The room has a kitchen (though we didn't use it), a living room, and the facilities are very new, with a snow-white sofa. The best part is the bedding—soft and comfortable."
