I stayed with my husband and a friend for two nights. We had a great experience. All the staff was extremely nice, while also making an extra effort for us to feel comfortable and communicate with us, which is not a given in other hotels in China as they usually don’t speak English. We are particularly thankful to Lina, Xiao Jing and Xiao Ming for the attentive care of us. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location was perfect for visiting the Shaolin temple, only took a short taxi ride to get there. We had a chance to try the food during breakfast and dinner and it didn’t disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. We would come back, highly recommended.

Hotel location is very good, five or six hundred meters away from Shaolin Temple Scenic Area, you can walk to the scenic spot along the national road, but the store manager must drive to pick up and drop off in person, here especially to give the store manager a big praise! After I arrived at the store, I personally helped with my luggage and introduced the relevant situation of the hotel. It really made people feel at home! In addition, the decoration and layout of the hotel should have spent a lot of thought. Staying in the store gives people a very comfortable feeling. Tea room, chess and card room, gym, laundry room are all available. After walking outside for a day, I don’t know how cool it is to soak my feet in the store! The facilities and equipment are complete and perfect. I recommend it to friends who come to Dengfeng.

The location is very close to Songyang Academy, which is within walking distance. There are many restaurants nearby. The room is large, and the 2.4-meter bed is spacious and comfortable for two people. The hotel service is very good. When I first arrived, the clerk took the initiative to send the pear juice made by the store, and also carefully introduced the room facilities. Every time I came back from going out, I was greeted warmly, and I felt at home. The room facilities are unique, such as disposable toilet seat rings and disposable plastic slippers, which make people feel at ease. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time, with pastries, coarse grains, eggs, porridge, soy milk, and hot and cold dishes, which was comfortable to eat. You can order dishes in the room for dinner. The delicious dishes are moderate in size, but the serving time is a bit slow (more than half an hour), so you need to place orders more in advance. The hotel has a very cultural atmosphere. There is a wall of bookshelves in the lobby, with all kinds of books: culture, history, prose, novels, law, psychology, etc. I am particularly interested in books introducing the world cultural heritage of Dengfeng; there are also local intangible cultural heritage specialties on display, black peanuts, millet vinegar, soybean paste, sesame maltose, etc., which can also be purchased; there is also a tea room in the corner, where you can taste tea and chat, and there are also brushes and rice paper for impromptu ink splashing. In short, it is a hotel with characteristics and cultural taste, and you can feel comfortable staying in it. There is a 5G signal tower outside the room where I live, and it is almost within reach of the balcony. I wonder if there is radiation? It makes people nervous. But I saw a pair of magpies on the top of the tower busy building nests every day, worry-free and happy to go back and forth. I envy them for not worrying about radiation and being uneasy, I hope not.

The hotel we stayed in this time was quite nice. It was a garden-style hotel that integrated guest rooms, dining and leisure. The hotel is very large and is built along the mountain from south to north, nestled in the natural landscape of Songshan Mountain. Their hotel is in a great location, right at the foot of Mount Song. Standing in the back garden, you can see the winding and undulating Songshan Mountain Range. The lush trees on the mountain are very beautiful, which makes people feel better unconsciously. When we checked in, the front desk staff Chen Peiying and Gao Xue provided warm and thoughtful service. Zhao Zhe took us to the room and introduced it clearly and in detail. The lobby staff Guo Gengan and Zheng Lijun provided very good service, warm and thoughtful. They helped us scan the parking tickets and carried our luggage. The overall stay experience was very good.

All in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station). Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds.

The hotel has a grand appearance and a Holiday Inn Express style. Free hot white fungus soup was provided at the front desk when I checked in on February 14th (it was not available when I checked out on the morning of February 15th). It may be because business is so good during the Chinese New Year. Travel During the peak season, there were many people going to Songshan Shaolin Temple. It was impossible to arrange the rooms of my friend and I on the same floor. Although the front desk printed the room cards and gave them to us around 15:25 in the afternoon, the two rooms were not completely tidied up. , The quilt in one room did not have a quilt cover, the tissue box in the other room was not arranged and there was still water in the water glass, and the pillows did not have pillowcases. However, after communicating with the front desk later, the housekeeping department colleagues tidied up the room. Welcome fruits were also delivered to us at the front desk. This is very good. The breakfast room is not big and there are too many people. I didn't take pictures. There are really many tourists and it is really not easy for the hotel people. I still gave it a full 5 points.
