"It doesn't seem feasible to reach the hotel by public transport, so having a car is necessary. Accessing the hotel entrance on foot involves climbing a flight of stairs from ground level. Once inside, guests must take the lift to reach the reception on level 6 for check-in. Luggage loading can be managed in carpark B1, and this requires the hotel to open the gate for vehicle access. In terms of service, the hotel staff were attentive and provided good service. They efficiently dried my son's and my sports shoes overnight, saving us from having to travel in wet footwear the next day. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was delivered to our room. We were able to enjoy it on our small balcony, which was a delightful touch. The breakfast was both healthy and delicious."

"A surprising and satisfying homestay!
First of all, the location is super good, just 600 meters from the entrance of the Shaolin Temple scenic area, and you can see the Shaolin Reservoir from the balcony of the room;
The kitchen aunt of the homestay cooks very delicious dishes, especially recommends one chicken with two dishes and wild vegetable cakes. You can also eat dumplings and noodles after watching the Shaolin performance in the evening! There are also restaurants and supermarkets nearby, which can be used in emergencies!
The room facilities are complete, and there are also separate male and female toilets. There is a laundry room on the third floor, and a tea room and massage chair on the second floor. It is very warm and thoughtful!
The staff's service is first-class, and the scenic area within 5 kilometers can be picked up and dropped off once for free! There are also small refreshments.
I really regret that I only stayed for one night, and I have to come back again to continue exploring Dengfeng!

"The concept is great. It's halfway up the mountain, right next to the music festival, and you can go and watch the show just a short stroll away. The duplex single room we stayed in was also very quiet and comfortable. Zero-pressure mattresses and pillows are particularly restful for a good night's sleep.
The downside is that the restaurant is average. The buffet in the evening is 59/person, which is not expensive, but there is nothing to eat (except for the prawns). Then the vacation ended at nine o'clock and I couldn't get up at all.
There is a battery car pick-up service and the attitude is very good"

"All in all we are quite satisfied with our short stay. We haven't used any of the hotel amenities like swimming pool or restaurant, so it's impossible to comment upon them. However, we'd like to say thank you to the stuff that is available any time. It turned out that one faucet didn't work properly and we only found it out at around 11 p.m. We called service number and the problem was solved within 10 minutes. One more pleasant thing is the pillow menu) The beds are generally very comfortable (unlike in many other Chinese hotels), but you still can choose an orthopedic pillow to your liking. That was very nice! Location is good (around 15 min to the mountain park entrance and to the bus station).
Unfortunately, we are not very happy with the view. (It was a mountain view room). Yes, we saw a pagoda and the mountains, but also the construction site right below our windows. Workes started their day at around 7 a.m., which was clearly heard in our room. In addition, there's some soft music constantly playing in the corridor. Definitely not for those who are sensitive to extra sounds."

"We had a lovely stay. The food is well prepared and delicious. The hotel is beautifully decorated and our boys were amazed at all the Kung Fu weapons on display. The staff were polite and helped us purchase tickets to the Kung Fu show and very friendly to our children. My only complaint is the black coffee was too weak and watered down. But given Chinese are not really coffee drinkers, this was a small problem and easy to forgive with all the other special things about this hotel. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family."

"We stayed two nights here for our visit to Shaolin Temple. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by the beautifully landscaped grounds and pleasant environment. The hotel itself is quite expansive, featuring numerous buildings, and functions as a large-scale hospitality complex for accommodation and dining – truly a garden-style hotel. The front desk staff were very warm and attentive during check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers ample parking. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, along with fresh fruit and good beverages. We stayed in Building 3, and our room offered spectacular panoramic mountain views from the window. Overall, our stay was excellent value for money. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit and highly recommend it to friends and family."

"A homestay that deserves 100 points! The room is clean and tidy, and the towels and other supplies are of good quality. It is much more comfortable than the three or four hundred hotels I booked before! The breakfast is also delicious! There are many kinds of food! Eat well! The most important thing is! The uncles and aunts are very enthusiastic, considerate, and friendly (a hundred words of praise omitted here). The next day, we went to climb Songshan Mountain, and the luggage was stored in the homestay. I came back at 6 o'clock after climbing. Because I had to go to Zhengzhou to take the high-speed rail at 9 o'clock, I wanted to rest in the lobby. The uncles and aunts were not impatient at all! Instead, they brought us water and bananas from time to time, and fried cakes for us a little later in case we were hungry! It's really so nice! With such a boss, it's hard not to be happy! Highly recommended! I will definitely stay here when I come to play in the future! I hope the uncles and aunts have a prosperous business! Good health!"

"A homestay where you can enjoy tea and watch the mountains in the room. After the rain, you can stroll in the small courtyard in the morning and see the mountains surrounded by clouds and mist in the distance. The homestay is very close to Zhongyue Lushan and Lushan Academy. Go out and turn right and go straight. It is also close if you go to Shaolin Temple without restrictions. There is also a Ding Guohua Hu spicy soup nearby to try in the morning. The location is quiet, it is good to go anywhere, especially suitable for self-driving friends. The owner of the homestay is a handsome guy, happy, especially good communication, prepare fruit, make tea, and taste life. When I checked in, I met the boss's mother, and the aunt was very kind and talkative. Living in the room, I feel like I came to the forest cabin, clean and tidy, take a hot bath, and look forward to a better tomorrow."

MM27031****The room is very clean, tidy, spacious and bright. The quilts, sheets and covers are all new, white and comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean. I have to give special praise to the two brothers who own the B&B. They are so nice. They always respond to our requests and solve our problems. We took a bus to Dengfeng Station, and Boss Wang personally drove to pick us up at the B&B. It was really rare. When we returned, Boss Wang was waiting for us at the gate and insisted on giving us a few bottles of water, saying that we were thirsty on the way. He also said that he would send a car to take us to the bus station. A few bottles of water are nothing, but his feelings cannot be expressed by a few bottles of water. It really feels like home. Just one word: Excellent! All five stars!

The lady at the front desk checked in and introduced the procedures to you.
There is an open tea room, a buffet restaurant, and a Hanfu dress-changing room on the first floor.
The room is clean and tidy with good lighting, and the dry and wet separated bathroom.
Each room is equipped with charging equipment and Xiaodu smart voice control, which can free your hands and let Xiaodu help you open and close the curtains and TV ports. You can also play music and enjoy the comfort of getting out of bed~
There are tea bags and tea sets in the room, which can relax your mood. There is also a large tea room and free laundry room on the floor, which is really considerate.

GGuest UserI had an incredibly enjoyable time here. The boss and his family are adorable and very available. The rooms are clean and quiet. The house is well located next to the central street and shops. It’s very easy to get to places of interest around and find a taxi. The boss knows his region very well and he loves history. I had a fabulous stay. cherry on the cake, his brother-in-law makes burgers and a delicious coffee two minutes away.

The stay was very nice!
Very comfy bed with great duna and linen. The shower was awesome! And the room is beautiful. The breakfast room/reception is nice to relax at and there is also a living room when you enter the building were you can relax as well.
Try to get a room on a higher floor and you get some mountain views.
The owners are lovely and the husband is a somilier and gave us a glass of wine for free when we ordered dinner. You really need to try their food! It was really nice and so was the breakfast. We had dinner twice when we were there, try the sizzling beef and mushrooms.
The staff is really nice and helpful especially the owners brother that helped us a lot with everything! We will for sure stay here again when we visit Dengfeng. We did some really long hikes around Dengfeng and it is really worth it.

GGuest UserReputedly, it's the only five-star hotel in the area. The service and ambiance were both fantastic. We were given a complimentary room upgrade, and the balcony offered a superb view. Breakfast was also exceptional, featuring a live Guzheng performance. Our butler proactively connected with us on WeChat, offering excellent recommendations for dining and attractions. The 'Shuixi' (water banquet) restaurant they suggested was a unanimous hit with our group.

GGuest UserThis place is very close to the entrance of the Taishi shan in the Song mountain area. The house is clean and is tastefully decorated. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host. He interacted with me well and showed his collection of antiques.He is a positive and energetic person. For hiking Taishi shan, this place is an ideal base. Shaolin temple is a bit away but one can easily access Shaolin temple by taxi. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience.
Please remember that this is a home-stay and not a hotel. This is an ideal place to explore Songshan mountain area. I highly recommend this place.

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

There is a large protruding corner in the shower room, making it difficult to turn around. GGuest UserI drove to Shaolin Temple with my kids and booked this hotel. It was OK. The room facilities were complete. The three beds were suitable for a family. The bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, which was very convenient. Parking in the hospital is very convenient.
