"Very familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery."

"This place is very close to the entrance of the Taishi shan in the Song mountain area. The house is clean and is tastefully decorated. The owner is very helpful and a gracious host. He interacted with me well and showed his collection of antiques.He is a positive and energetic person. For hiking Taishi shan, this place is an ideal base. Shaolin temple is a bit away but one can easily access Shaolin temple by taxi. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a wonderful experience.
Please remember that this is a home-stay and not a hotel. This is an ideal place to explore Songshan mountain area. I highly recommend this place."

The lady owner is kind enough to greet me on arrival and guide me to the place. It is quite difficult to look for the place because there is no clear sign board. However, the renovation is good. The water heater and air con are functioning well. The owner gave me useful information on my trip.

The room was old and fairly worn but the sheets and towels were clean, airconditioning worked and no bad smell in the room. The room is very small, but the basic facilities are complete and the hygiene is good. You can eat on the first floor, but the taste of the dishes is average and it is acceptable to satisfy your hunger. The boss's service is also rather perfunctory. After all, I live next to a scenic spot. The main purpose is to spend the night and go out early the next day.
