"The room is very big and clean. Very comfortable bed to have a good night sleep. However, only one bottle of water is provided for each check in (though we stayed for two nights). So had to purchase expensive water at the lobby."

"When we tried to check in, we were shocked to hear that the Hotel was overbooked and told by receptionist only when checking in. (Baggages were safekept in the hotel before checking in time.) We were asked to check-in to their sister’s hotel which is far from the current hotel(25 mins by bus + walk) and nothing was given to us to help us get there. But, due to our heavy baggages, we had to repeatedly ask the staff member for a room in the current hotel. Hence, the hotel staff returned our room where The room’s toilet is out of order, we have to go to the basement’s toilet when necessary. Luckily the staff was nice and tried to accommodate and gave us free breakfast due to the inconvenience. I am disappointed by how the hotel management treats their guest and there should have been a procedure in place (eg. compensation for guests by providing taxi/uber to and from the hotel due to the lack of room)"

"Everything from the environment to the service was excellent! I parked for 33 minutes to unload luggage and then had to move my car. When I left the parking lot to pay, the attendant told me that since I only exceeded the 30-minute free parking by three minutes, I didn't need to pay! The front desk staff were also very polite and enthusiastic! Great!"

"You would expect more from a trusted international brand like Pullman and as an Accor member, unfortunately the service was truly disappointing! Chose the brand despite the location being some distance away from Hbf. The hotel check-in reception spoilt our experience - cut us off extremely rudely when we tried to check in and said she can only deal with check outs at that time. There were no queue and no crowd at that moment and she refused to process any administration. WHope Pullman can step up the customer service experience in future."

"Stayed for 2 nights while in Cologne, check in was very pleasant and staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and big enough , shower room was also very clean. It took me around 15 mins to walk from the station to the hotel which was all on the same level. Great location only 200yds from river and 5-10min walk to bars and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again."

The environment here is good and quiet, the shower has a large amount of water, the breakfast is rich, and there is a paid parking lot in the underground, which is very convenient. Everything is quite satisfactory"

One downside was the disappointing so called fitness suite..im sorry to say a treadmill,a couple of exercise bikes & a multigym doesnt really add up to a suite.. Also the changing rooms need addressing as there was only 2 booths to get changed in.. Still 9/10 for the Martim Hotel Koln.."

"I didn't like the hotel! Pros: Washing machine and dishwasher in the room. Cons: - Poor quality pillows, they're barely even pillows, crumpled and flat, like nothing in particular; - The room was very dirty, with dust and hair all over every surface; - We stayed in winter, and the room was cold; - The pool was out of order during our entire stay, even though we chose this hotel solely for its pool; - The location is inconvenient; it's a long walk to the sights, and if you take public transportation, you'll only have to change. - There's no microwave; there's an oven instead, so you have to wait 20 minutes to heat up anything. - The view from the windows is onto the courtyard (interior)"
