Cologne Hotels with balcony

We stayed at Dorint Heumarkt during Pride Week. Superb location, next to U-Bahn and very close to main shopping streets, restaurants and Central Train station. Check-in was smooth, and overall good service. We were upgraded to the Comfort category and found the room spacious, clean and modern! Enjoyed the comfortable beds and great shower. The AC worked well in the public areas, but unfortunately was VERY warm in the room - it was set at 19C but felt like 25-30C! The windows were double sealed, which helped block the street noise, but made it stuffy in Summer time. Overall good experience and would return in cooler months.

It's quite close to the convention center, about a 10-minute walk. There's a supermarket nearby, but no restaurants, so you have to walk across the river for food. The breakfast is pretty limited, mostly just cereal, so I recommend bringing some instant noodles.

It's very beautiful and new, far from Cologne station, so that's perfect. However, there are no slippers in the amenities, so it is more relaxing to bring them with you.

Ich war in Zimmer 56 untergebracht und habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre, die durch das Zimmer durch die Dachgeschoss entstand, war einfach toll. Das Zimmer war sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Das Hotel überzeugt zudem durch seine zentrale, aber ruhige Lage und den freundlichen Service. Ich würde das Midtown Hotel jederzeit weiterempfehlen und komme gerne wieder!

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the train station, which is very convenient. It's close to the street, so there's some noise at night, requiring windows to be kept shut. There's a balcony, which is pleasant for a breeze in the morning and evening, offering views of the train station and Cologne Cathedral. The room is relatively clean, and the front desk staff are very nice. The Three Gu Maocai restaurant nearby downstairs has good food.

The hotel was in a great location, right by the cathedral and close to the shopping district and mainline train station. The room was big, spacious and clean. However unfortunately at the moment there is a lot of construction work happening behind the hotel where our room was and it was very hard to sleep with such loud noises from 7am we also had to leave the windows open as it was very warm and there was no air conditioning in the room which also didnt help. There was a free coffee machine available to make hot drinks in the lobby to take to the room however it wasnt always working when we needed it. Otherwise good value hotel.

A rather basic hotel, but worthy of its price. The hotel is suitable for people with a limited budget but who want to live here for a long time. In addition to ordinary hotel rooms, there are also public living rooms and public bathrooms (that is, there are also rooms without bathrooms). The overall feel is more like a student dormitory. The room was very cold when I arrived. I searched for a long time before I realized that the heating was not turned on. So my impression of this hotel is cold and bleak, and I guess I won't go there again in the future. But it would be unfair to say that this hotel has nothing good to offer.

Clean and tidy, you can walk to the Cologne Exhibition Center and Daoyitz Railway Station, and it is quiet and the environment is beautiful, especially like the scenery outside the window.

Self-service entry, excellent central location, neat simple room and bathroom. Beware: no lift, narrow stairs to the rooms, in my case 60 steps up.
