I'm incredibly grateful for the service provided by Hotel Manager Ben. On our check-in day, he learned it was my husband's birthday and generously upgraded us to a suite for free, along with complimentary breakfast and a birthday cake. It was such a wonderful surprise, making for an unforgettable night.

The location of Carlton Hotel is excellent, directly opposite Raffles City shopping mall and Chijmes. Everything is within walking distance, with plenty of restaurants and options for a drink or two in the evening. So convenient!

The hotel is well located and is very near to the mrt station. The staff are friendly and warm. Room is very clean and comfortable. The Plate restaurant staff are nice and friendly, especially Richard who serves with a personal touch . Nice stay!

This hotel is a century old, and apparently, even Charlie Chaplin stayed here. The suite is two-storied, with a very comfortable king-size bed on the second floor, a sofa bed in the living room, and a cot (too thin). There's one bathroom, though the shower stall is a bit narrow, the water pressure isn't great, and controlling the water temperature is a bit tricky.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a microwave, oven, pots, pans, and even a washer-dryer combo, along with laundry detergent – which was fantastic for refreshing our clothes daily.

There are two pools. The main pool has a rather steep slope and is 2.8 meters deep at its deepest point. There are no lifeguards, changing rooms, or showers; you either have to change in the lobby restrooms or go directly in your swimwear.

The service was excellent. They proactively helped with luggage. After checking in, I was told the room wouldn't be ready until 3 PM, but the front desk staff found me in the lobby before 3 PM, remembered my name, and gave me the key – that was a nice touch.

The hotel is about 800 meters from Orchard Road's ION, Isetan, and Jollibee. There's a FairPrice supermarket in Scott Square, which is a great spot to pick up local specialties. For affordable breakfast, there's Ya Kun Kaya Toast, food courts, and hawker centers nearby, but honestly, after a while, they all pretty much taste the same.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, promptly addressing my concerns. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic view. Although the hotel has a long history, the bedrooms were surprisingly clean. I was pleased to find a variety of pillow options to choose from. However, the bed was a disappointment, being too soft and lacking sufficient support. On a positive note, the breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide range of options and excellent food.

The hotel is quiet, very clean, and modern. The room and bathroom are spacious. The breakfast is excellent, very diverse, and delicious. I believe it's one of the best and most spacious hotels in Juffair, and the price is reasonable for what it offers. Ample parking is available.
