"The location of the hotel is very good, but the first room I was given had problems, the lights on the wall were broken; the second room I was given was OK. The flight the next morning was very early, and they packed a breakfast for me, which was good."
"The hotel is a former stock exchange with a certain sense of design, but the rooms are rather cramped. The breakfast restaurant is beautiful. If you stay, you must add breakfast. The hotel is located within a 6-minute walk from cable cars, hot chocolate, piers and other attractions. You can park your car at the door of the hotel to unload your luggage and check in, but the parking lot is actually quite far away, 7 minutes by car, and it takes about 15-20 minutes to walk back to the hotel."
"Hotel is located in an excellent location, within a few minutes walking distance to the Byggen, the tourist info center. The Floibanen station with the tram train up to the Floyen view point is just 100 meters behind the hotel. The airport bus also stop near to the hotel. It is a bit far from the train station.
There are many restaurants around the area and near to the Square.
Room is quite large. Was allocated a roon with great view of the hills behind.
Service was also very prompt and friendly. Breakfast was excellent."

"The breakfast is very rich in variety. The room is not big but clean. The only nitpick is the water pressure. It is hot and cold every time. I personally don't like it very much, but if you think about Finnish saunas at that time, maybe It was a good experience, but there was also a bit of a noise problem. I personally don’t recommend staying on Fridays and Saturdays, because there is a bar underneath the hotel, and there were many people gathering at 1 and 2 in the morning to party, which affected my sleep. Fortunately, I only had one night on a Friday. , it is also very quiet at other times, overall it is good"
"It's about 10 minutes from the train station. The location is pretty good. It's in the city center and close to the cable car. There is a flybus at the door of the hotel, which can go directly to the airport. It's very convenient. It costs 169 Norwegian kroner per person. In this way, you don't have to drag your suitcase to the train station. After all, it's all cobblestone roads, which are very troublesome to walk."
"On the other side of the old city, you can walk over, it takes about 20 minutes, you can also take the bus. We arranged the room on the second floor for us. The result was that we had to go down the stairs on the third floor. It was too inconvenient for us to carry the big box. Although the breakfast is not many varieties, the quality is very good."
"Conveniently located
Minutes to railway station and near to the tourist information where most tours begin.
Kitchen has oven. fridge, toaster and kettle so it’s easy to make your hot drinks and heat up food. It’s got comfortable seating as well.
Room only has one type of universal shampoo/body wash so recommended to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and conditioner.
Just opposite is the supermarket so it’s really convenient.
Airport to hotel uber was about 660noks."
"The reception desk was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! Travelers to Bergen can consider this hotel. It is only a 10-minute walk to Bryggen or the cable car, which is very convenient."
"A basic but good hotel with clean and sound proof rooms, not far from city centre and tourist attractions. There is a park and marina within 10 minutes walking distance. I would stay here again on my next trip to Bergen."
"It was a bit far from the station, but it was nice because it was right in front of the fish market.
The room was comfortable and spacious, and it was nice to have slippers.
It was a bit disappointing that there was no refrigerator.
I got it because I heard the dinner was delicious, but the quality was really bad.
There's some soup and a salad, and there's not much left...
I heard it was all-you-can-eat salmon, but that's definitely not the case."

Very Good
GGuest UserThe room is 20 square meters, not big. The waiter forgot to put drinking water on the first night. I took medicine for allergies in the middle of the night and there was no water to drink. I drank tap water. Fortunately, the tap water in Norway is drinking water.
There was a violin performance at breakfast. I listened to it while eating breakfast. It was pretty good.

WWendy Poh KuanVery convenient location next to train station so a short walk upon arriving at Bergen on our Norway in the nutshell tour. Breakfast included was great and good spread. Rooms are good size. Walking distance to main attractions. There is also a tram stop to airport nearby. Overall, good value and superb location for our stay in Bergen!

AAToiI recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at Hotel No.13 in Bergen. While my room lacked windows, it was comfortable and cleaned daily, making it a pleasant place to return to after a day of travel. The absence of a window didn't bother me much, as I spent most of my time exploring the city. The check-in and check-out staff were notably friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. The daily breakfast included in my rate was basic.
What truly stands out is the hotel's convenient location which is near Byparken Station and walkable distance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Bryggen one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway. It is a historic wharf with colorful wooden houses dating back to the 14th century.

GGuest UserThe hotel is easily accessible to all touristic places in Bergen, it’s only 5mins to the Bergen habour.
Staff at the reception is friendly.
The room that we booked is a little bit small for two people but the interesting point of the room is the high glass ceiling.

DDarren611The hotel seems a little run down. I read through comments on here before booking and someone mentioned a hole in the tile in the bathroom and hotel management responded saying maintenance would be called. This comment was a couple of years ago and the hole is still there. I was in the annex building which is definitely more dilapidated. Maybe invest some of the money back into the hotel?
Also the guests in the room next to mine were having a party but the staff shut it down after speaking with them.
I’ve stayed in a about 12 hotels in the last five weeks traveling around Europe and this hotel is very close to the bottom of the list which is surprising as I expected more from the Norway leg of my journey.
The staff were very friendly though, it’s just a shame the hotel management doesn’t utilize their profits for the benefit of the hotel and staff.

JJasin LinaMy 2nd stays when visit Bergen on October 2022 and April 2023 both visit are for 3 nights each stays. I love Thon hotel because the breakfast was amazing, so many varieties of food and delicious. The room is very nice and clean and comfortable beds. Shower room is nice and the adjustment of the water is perfect. I love the chocolate they serve in ours first check in. Delicious. Parking is not free but easy access. The hotel is located in the heart of Bergen old Town, only walk about 2 minutes from the lobby, beautiful Maria Church also 2 minutes from the lobby, definitely will come back...strongly recommend 😍 you can watch my channel about all hotels I recommend on WTLJ YouTube, thanks 😊

CChiu FranzSimple style and clean. But I prefer to have a folded table and a chair.
The room is a little bit small and the window cannot close. I have told the staff but no action has done.
The single bed is also small. I prefer to change it to a sofa bed and can change to a semi-bed when necessary.
Very nice breakfast. Good security. Staff are nice and helpful (except the window case). Enjoy have a bottle of beer in the hotel pub.
Frankly to speak, the price is too expensive. It is the truth that Norway has high living rate but I really don't think a small room worth around US$250 per night.
Prefer to have a small open space in the hotel for smoking.

GGuest UserGreat location esp to light rail, bybanen to airport 150m away from hotel. Central to everything incl Bryggen.
Rooms are small, dusty, noisy ! The hotel operates a club 2 floors above rooms and I guess they expect to sell rooms to drunken revelers who dont mind noisy music till 2 am in the morning - I do mind. Its been terrible as I have a morning flight and getting sleep was impossible.

AAnonymous UserThe location is close to the city center, the transportation is convenient, the suite is very spacious, but there is a drink bottle left by the last resident on the kitchen countertop, and you need to bring your own shower gel and other toiletries. Generally speaking, it is OK.
