Facilities: The hotel features modern architecture with a rustic wooden exterior, giving it the appearance of a mountain cabin from the outside, but stepping inside reveals a contemporary hotel. The ground floor includes a children's play area with large floor-to-ceiling windows and plenty of seating to enjoy the mountain views outside.
Cleanliness: The common areas looked very clean, and the room was tidied up nicely, though I did spot some dust in the corners.
Environment: The hotel's location is unbeatable, nestled halfway up the mountain. It's perfect for those with a car, as it's about a 30-minute drive to Erdao Baihe below. Without a car, it could be a bit inconvenient, and round-trip taxis wouldn't be cheap. The room had a balcony with great views and fresh air. The only downside was that it was a bit cold at the end of September. Thankfully, the thick curtains blocked some of the chill. Since there was no air conditioning at this time, we asked the hotel for an electric heater; otherwise, we wouldn't have wanted to get out of bed in the morning.
Service: Hilton's service is, as expected, impeccable. We received welcome cookies, and fruit and drinks were delivered to our room. Guests also get free access to the hot springs. The butler-style service was excellent, with quick responses in the chat group. Finally, we were able to request a late check-out until 2 PM.
Dining: The food selection was very rich, offering Northeastern and Yanbian specialties, with a main focus on Western dishes complemented by noodles, wontons, and delicious bread. You could even grab extra bread to take with you for a snack on the mountain.

The water in the Scaly Merganser Park is crystal clear, making it a great place to digest food after a meal. You can buy large steamed buns to feed the ducks. The room was clean and tidy, and the sun was shining brightly. I'll definitely come again next time.

The rooms are well-equipped and decorated in a simple, elegant style. I'll definitely stay again.

My experience at Huazhu Guesthouse this time was fantastic! The complimentary shuttle service from Changbaishan High-Speed Rail Station was a huge plus: a mini-bus picked us up directly outside the station for free, and the driver was kind enough to help with our luggage. The lovely lady at the front desk even upgraded our room to a courtyard room free of charge! It featured a spacious private yard, perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea. Our room was well-equipped, clean, and tidy, complete with a Dyson hairdryer. The shower also had excellent hot water pressure. The hotel service was very thoughtful; we even received fresh welcome fruit upon check-in. The highlight for me was that staying at the hotel upgraded us to Changbaishan VIP status. This allowed us to enter the scenic area earlier and bypass all the queues, saving us a significant amount of time. Overall, I will definitely choose Huazhu She again on my next visit to Changbaishan! 😍

SShana101Even tho we booked a windowless room, we were quite surprised how comfortable we were during our 3 nights stay here. The beds are super soft and the rooms are very spacious, comes with heater and a humidifier. The bathroom is the best with electrical hot water and a heating system. The furnitures are all very new and the place is generally quite clean
There’s free pick up and drop off services from the railway station to the hotel. As a foreigner it was still easy to contact them via trip.com internet call, and follow up via WeChat. Once at the hotel the location is great it’s within walking distance to the main food areas and 5mins walk to the bus stop (free bus!) that brings you to the Changbaishan North slope center. - remember to book your tickets in advance!
Overall will easily recommend to stay here if you’re visiting Changbaishan :)

The hairdryer was pretty standard, but it worked fine. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. The staff service was also very warm and welcoming. The slippers provided were incredibly comfortable – soft and thick. You can arrange for a pickup service from the station/airport directly with the hotel.

JJoyful touristCheck in area was quite messy, not properly organised.
Only one staff to attend to check in/check out when we arrive at evening time. Day time could be better.
Need to get breakfast coupon during check in (if you booked with breakfast), and dining area is the hotel beside.
Staff in charge of local tour package is helpful and assist us to book the tour as the ticket to Changbaishan was fully sold out.
Apparently, visiting Changbaishan needs to pre-book your ticket beforehand to avoid disappointment.
Local tour we joined was pretty good as one will be ferried around the 3 main visiting spots by coach.
Main plus point is that the hotel is near a hotspring hotel and the entrance point of north slope (both within 3-5 mins walking distance from hotel).

The room is quite large, clean, and the bedding is quite comfortable, and I slept well. The hotel staff are very enthusiastic, smiling, and helping with luggage, which feels very friendly. The breakfast is also very rich, with both Chinese and Western food, and there are many choices. There is also a gym, so you can exercise in the morning. Overall, this hotel is very cost-effective and comfortable to stay in. I will choose here next time and recommend it to my friends!

SSH.1The first visit to this hotel was full of warmth and overwhelming hospitality. I still can't forget how they welcomed us the moment we arrived at the hotel.
Firstly, we were overwhelmed by the staff
during our arrival. They all came out to greet us and help with our luggages and belongings all the way in to the hotel.
Secondly, with the seamless check in to our rooms and fruit platter, every gesture was well thought by the hosts.
Thirdly, they prepared a sumptuous dinner for us. Simple local delicacies yet tasted really good. The number of ginsengs in the appetiser surprised us! From the portion to the presentation of food, we can taste the difference and feel they put in their heart to make everything better. Lady boss was generous to treat us a bottle of local rice wine during our mealtime. Tasted really good and special! We like that drink!!
Additionally, we were asked for timing to eat breakfast and they would prepare that before our specific timing. They even asked us for our preference and customise breakfast for us. Breakfast was served and tasted as good as dinner! Freshly prepared and done meticulously by the kitchen.
Lastly, lady boss gave us an impromptu complimentary tea session after dinner. A unique and interesting experience indeed. Never seen and tried it before. It's a heating device with net on it, put the heating pot for stirring and cooking our own tea from scratch. Meanwhile, we have the finger snacks and nuts to roast on the heating rack (as shown in the pictures) while waiting for our tea.
In between, they would guide us how to prepare the tea. It was a chill and relaxing session. We enjoyed chit chatting while roasting our tea in the cafe. It felt so warmth especially when it was snowing heavily outside. The vibes were superb!
I had many enquiries and the lady at the counter helped me out a lot without hesitation. She tried all her means to help us. The lady at the hot spring was very friendly and provide good services too!
The staff from the hot spring, restaurant, concierge, driver and even lady boss all were very attentive, friendly and nice at any point of time during our stay. Pretty impressive indeed. Giving all credits to every single staff. Amazing team!

1. The Room : very clean and many room style to choose like Chinese or Japanese or normal.
2. The location : is very near town just only 5mins
Near Changbaishan railway station just only 5mins
Close to Scenic deer park and riding floating river
3. Sevice: excellent. The boss is very caring us. He took us from station to the hotel and back to station for FREE. He help us a lot to buy Mountain ticket, booking car, and bus to Xuexiang.
4. Hotel also Free Breakfast with delicious food. The kitchen service is great. They are kind and outgoing. 😍

GGuest UserI originally booked a one-bedroom room, but the boss upgraded me to a two-bedroom room. I checked in late because I was out traveling. The hotel contacted me and asked me about my stay. A two-bedroom room with a large bed and two small beds. It is enough for a family of four. In summary, it is worth the money. Really. First of all, I was not charged. The breakfast is standard. It is also rich. Moreover, I personally feel that this boss is a person with taste. All the bath products have a harmonious taste.

EE1064****Facilities: The hotel facilities are very new and highly modernized, offering indoor hot springs that are very comfortable to soak in. Breakfast is decent, with a wide variety of small dishes and a few stir-fries. It starts at 7 AM, not 6:30 AM as stated in the elevator, so those planning an early start to Tianchi will need to prepare their own breakfast beforehand.
Cleanliness: The bedding is very clean, and the hygiene is excellent. Rooms are cleaned every morning, and fresh water is provided.
Environment: The hotel is large with free parking available within the grounds. Since the town itself isn't big, the hotel is conveniently located for getting around. Rooms facing the street might experience noise from large vehicles in the morning, so if you plan to sleep in, try to request a room not facing the street.
Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and provide excellent service; they even proactively called to ask if I needed a pick-up from the station.

From the moment I made the reservation, Gem Hotel's customized butler service was activated in advance. They took the initiative to contact me and carefully asked if I needed pick-up service from the high-speed rail station. This precautionary care made my heart warm even before I arrived.
After arriving at the hotel, the enthusiasm of the front desk staff was even more impressive. Not only were they smiling, but they also carefully observed that I was bringing my child with me, and then thoughtfully upgraded me to a parent-child room for free. The room is large and the layout is reasonable. Every detail has taken into account the needs of family travel. The spacious space allows our little baby to run freely and enjoy happy time. This arrangement undoubtedly added countless warmth and convenience to our trip.
The ending of the entire trip was equally unforgettable. The driver, Master Zhang, not only delivered us to the high-speed rail station on time, but also provided enthusiastic and courteous service along the way, making us feel the warmth of home on the way home. Such a service team is undoubtedly the most valuable asset of Gem Hotel and the key to allowing every guest to leave beautiful memories.
