Best Yangyang Hotels

"Dignity Hotel is located right next to the ocean, so for sea-loving folks, this is the place for you! Naksan Temple is 20mins away, but the beautiful ocean will keep you occupied while you stroll over. Room-wise, the room is very spacious, with a large walk in dressing room and a lounging area. It is also very quiet at night (it is the countryside after all!) and you will be guaranteed a good rest. Amenities around the areas are sparse as it is still low-season (for instance, the nearest well-stocked convenience store is 20 mins away). So I recommend to purchasing the morning buffet at the hotel restaurant so you wouldn’t go hungry in the mornings while thinking about where to explore. Regardless, I expect the area to be much more accessible during the high-season of summer, so plan accordingly! All in all, if I return to Yangyang, Dignity Hotel will be my first choice in selecting a place to stay. I had a wonderful time there."

"The location is so good that I visit often~~^^ Even though it's old, I visit often because I like the beach walk. I recommend the hotel because it's cleaner than the resort. I especially recommend the ocean view even if it costs a little more. It's worth it~~^^ I was in room 515, and the plaza was visible, and the bathroom was relatively clean."

I booked the suite room expecting something a bit more luxurious, and while it was clean and well-maintained, it didn’t fully match my expectations. The self-check-in process was a bit inconvenient, especially for first-time visitors. I had also requested early check-in, but wasn't clearly informed beforehand that there would be a charge of 10,000 KRW per hour, which would have been helpful to know in advance. Still, the overall experience was good, and I’d recommend it for the location alone—just be sure to clarify details ahead of time."

"The building feels a bit old, and I can hear people talking loudly in the hallway, so I think the soundproofing isn't that great, but the bedding was clean and the room was warm, so I had a good rest. There's a convenience store on the first floor, so it's good for buying things I need, and the ocean view from the room is nice. It was nice that they provided sparkling wine and caprese as welcome drinks, and the barbecue set was delicious. The ocean view from the sky lounge restaurant was also nice. I also ordered breakfast and had it, and it was delicious. It was nice to stay for a day and leave."

"이 호텔에서 정말 좋은 인상을 많이 받았습니다. 호텔 근처 아름다운 해변에서 놀다가 늦게 도착했는데, 저도 외국인인데도 불구하고 주차장에서 기다리고 계시던 사장님이 반갑게 맞아주시고 주차할 곳을 알려주셨습니다. 떠날 때도 사장님이 후진하는 방법과 주변 명소들을 알려주셨습니다. 마치 멀리서 아이들이 집에 온 것 같은 느낌이었습니다. 정말 따뜻했습니다. 객실은 넓고 깨끗하며 모든 시설이 완비되어 있었습니다. 호텔은 금강산화암사(신서대)🏔️ 근처에 있어 등산객들에게 매우 적합합니다. 정말 아름다운 산입니다. 제가 사는 도시에서 330km나 떨어져 있지만, 앞으로 몇 번이고 다시 방문할 것입니다. 사장님의 건강과 더 많은 손님을 맞이할 수 있기를 기원합니다.🥰"

"The staff were friendly and very helpful, facilities clean and tidy and bed comfy and spacious! My only issue was with the location - the public transport in Yangyang doesn't seem to run regularly and it was difficult to find a schedule for busses, so be prepared to taxi to and from the hostel. However, it was lovely and quiet with a lovely, relaxed vibe."
