"I highly recommend this hotel, particularly for families. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is ideal, with multiple kids friendly shopping malls and supermarkets nearby and the JR station just a one-minute walk away. The staff’s professional and attentive service was truly impressive."
"I booked the hotel for last minute for a 1 night event at Chiba. Unfortunately the cheapest option is the smoking room so I have to bear with it. The hotel is the old model. The hotel has wedding hall, some room functions for exhibition and meeting, the breakfast on the restaurant with additional fee. It using physical key, and the toilet is not as amazing modern toilet that Japan has, bit confused when I'm using it. All amenities provided, have kettle and only tea, would love if they provide coffee, sugar and milk, since standard hotel that I know would be provide a set of coffee and tea, but I didn't bother to ask, because I just stay a night."
"I wanted to spend a day checking out the outlet and nearby shopping in Makuhari. Do note this is the normal Hotel Springs and not the Premier which is next door. This is a great mid range hotel with just about everything you need. I did not use it and can’t speak for availability but I was impressed that on some floors there were washing machines. The room was a normal Japanese hotel room, small but functional. Everything was clean. There was even a balcony which I really like. The breakfast was perfectly adequate with Japanese and western options. Staff were polite yet reserved. The train station, bus station and outlet was literally 3-5 minutes walk away with everything you need including numerous convenience stores and restaurants. One of the best things is that the Narita bus (pay onboard) stops at the hotel itself which I didn’t know when I arrived although not every time so you need to check the schedule. Otherwise you can catch the bus from the station. I would stay again or maybe try the premier version next time. Good value for money and great location."

"Clean and large rooms as compared to other APA hotels, big toilet too. Lots of facilities but do not have enough time to explore. Good location m. My room facing Tokyo bay too. Covered linkway to major buildings and shopping centres. They even have a limousine bus to Narita airport costing $1200 yen."
"My 5-night stay at Hotel Francs was very positive. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep. The room size is standard for Japan, which was perfectly fine. The staff and housekeeping were excellent. The hotel's location is a major plus, being close to the train station and Mitsui Outlet, which has many restaurants and convenience stores. Getting here from the airport was also convenient via the limousine bus, which stops right in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."
"The service here was immaculate from day one, the staff spoke English which was very helpful and they were always so attentive and polite. The days we were there, unfortunately was raining, however the hotel provided us with umbrellas making it very convenient for us. The rooms are a bit small for two large suitcases but everything else you need is in that one room, including a bathtub! They also provide free amenities in the lobby which really topped it off for us. It was a very clean and comfortable hotel for our four-night stay. Thanks to the reception staff for being so lovely 😊😊"
"I extended one more night. This is a copy of my previous review of this hotel. Excellent hotel, excellent location, i front of Kaihin
Makuhari train station and beside Mitsui Premium
Outlet Park. The rooms are newly renovated and
modern. Amenities are plentiful. Breakfast was
included, and access to lounge with cold, hot, alcoholic
drinks and snacks in the afternoon through 9pm. First
time on this side of the Springs Hotel, which is the
”premium” area. Both are good, I stayed for business
trips many times, and I wanted to try the Springs
Premiere this time. Loved it."
"Conveniently located just 2 mins walk from Kaihimmakuhari Station with easy access to nearby AEON shopping malls and various food outlets. Also ideally within minutes walking distance from Makuhari Messe Convention and Exhibition halls, makes Shuranza a recommended choice. As a plus, the in-house onsen is a welcome respite after a long day roaming around convention venues. Will definetly return for future visits."
"Conveniently located in an adjacent building from Chiba JR station. Access from the west exit. Also near subway station and monorail network.
Plenty of eateries and shopping at the nearby malls. Basically you can find everything you need here, so don’t have to stay in Tokyo.
We picked Chiba for ease of access to Narita airport, about 50 minutes away on rapid train. Express service to Narita is also available but at 3x the cost.
Breakfast is typical Japanese fare but last order is early at 9am. There are plenty of eateries nearby so next time will opt out of hotel breakfast.
Hotel mini fridge is under-powered so is effectively useless."
"Pleasantly Spacious Rooms, Stunning Breakfast Views, but Bus Stop Location Needs Improvement
This hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms for the price point, which was a definite plus. While my room on a lower floor didn't have the sea view mentioned in some descriptions, I found it comfortable and well-sized.
A true highlight was the breakfast on the 21st floor. The panoramic views were absolutely beautiful and made for a delightful start to the day.
The sauna was adequate, though not particularly memorable.
The one significant drawback was the difficulty in locating the bus shuttle. The absence of a clearly marked location or a QR code made finding it quite frustrating. This is an area the hotel should definitely address to improve the guest experience."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserReserved a 3-night stay at this hotel, conveniently situated within a 5-minute walk from Chiba station. Enjoyed the complimentary welcome drink available from 2 pm to 11 pm. It would have been improved if they provided hot coffee for guests in the morning. A notable highlight is the onsen on level 3, offering a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring.
Special commendation to Ms. 李, who facilitated our check-in. Upon overhearing our Mandarin conversation, she promptly switched to Mandarin, enhancing our understanding and overall experience. A thoughtful touch that stood out during our stay.
TTravellingAllTheTimeLocation was awesome as a base for 1 night to pick up rental car from Toyota rent a car which was about 7mins walk away. Hotel was close to the Chiba station about 5mins walk away. Hotel is also close to many eateries and ichiran which was about 8mins walk away. There are 3 combini quite close to the hotel too. Overall it’s very good! Thank you for the fantastic hospitality!
MmaccotI had contacted the hotel to make a reservation for a parking space, but it was full so I parked in a nearby paid parking lot.
The hotel is close to Soga Station and easy to find.
The room was compact, so I spread out my suitcase in the empty space by the bed.
RR J WClean and comfy room and toilet. Polite and helpful staff as well who helped us with catching the airport shuttle bus. Good location and near Kaihimmakuhari Station, and a short walk away from an AEON mall. There was also a nice Christmas tree and other decorations at the lobby. One thing to note is that they will photocopy your credit card as a form of deposit.
WwtfisheryService from the staff was nice.. facilities was okay.. location was near the train station.. we didnt like the vibe of the area especially at night.. felt like the security in the area was very very poor. there are always a lot people camping around from the train station all the way to the hotel, trying to prey on people who are alone. they are always staring at me and my husband everytime we walk back from the train station. during our 1st night stay, my husband went down to the nearby combini alone and an obaasan kept following him asking if he wants massage service from hotel to combini and back to the hotel. then another night, we saw 1 girl got cornered by a group of guys while walking back to the hotel. she was obviously distressed but we are couldnt do anything since we are outnumbered. we didnt want to get into trouble so we can only walk away with guilt as fast as we could back to the hotel. drunk people everywhere. no police in sight during the few nights we were there as well. overall, definitely no issue with the hotel but we will not return to Chiba again.
AAnonymous UserVery close to Chiba monorail Yoshikawagoen station. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English. Breakfast was excellent with many varieties. Highly recommend to eat the soft white bread. Very clean and spacious room which came with a queen size bed. Great value for the stay here. Would come again.
Ttetsu&poweeThe front desk staff are polite and the service is excellent.
The location is also close to the station, and there is a 24-hour Maruetsu Petit store in front of the station, so you won't have any inconveniences. When returning to the hotel from Disney, Chiba Minato Station is on the Chiba side of Maihama, so you don't have to take a crowded train to Tokyo.
渡渡瀬雄一朗The facilities are old, but they are well-cleaned and have a clean feel, which is nice because it's an old hotel.
There is a large public bath (with sauna) and the rooms also have baths, so it was nice to be able to use whichever you preferred.
The location was also good, less than a 10-minute walk from the station and easy to find.
If there's one thing to be concerned about, it's that there are love hotels nearby, so it didn't bother me as a solo traveller, but it might be awkward if you have children with you?
Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.
RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.
