The location is excellent and it only takes 3 minutes to walk to the exhibition venue. Very close to the airport, very convenient. There is a bus stop next to the hotel that takes you to the city center. Very convenient! The breakfast in the lobby is also quite delicious.
Absolutely loved the location and the ease of access of the hotel. While the bathroom was a little tiny, the room and all facilities provided for the Hotel de Geneve were very good, and I wholly recommend the hotel for your stay in Geneva. Special shootout to the friendly and accommodating staff at the reception. Thank you!
There is a big mall in front of the hotel.and the bus stop for bus number 10 is just next to the hotel this bus goes to the airport or city center practical for transportation
For given budget in Geneva, it's good price/performance ratio.
Everything found as described. Service was very friendly; check-in and -out quick and uncomplicated.
Minor flaws (one towel unclean, toilet paper holder damaged) manageable.
I'd use the accommodation again.
The counter service is good. However, the room is too small. My husband and I have a 26inch and 24inch luggage bag and there’s no space to open both our luggage tgt. I would nt recommend here if you have a big luggage along cause not so convenient
There are no shortcomings except the small elevator. It is close to the attractions in the city center. The train station is a five-minute walk away. Lake Geneva is just around the corner. There are also many delicious foods around, of course a little expensive.
This is a youth hostel. The toilet is shared with other people outside the room, regardless of gender. The water pressure in each shower room is not enough. You can test the water pressure before choosing which bathroom to use.
There is a special smell in the room (similar to the smell of dampness?), but it is not offensive. Instead, it has a nostalgic feeling (reminiscent of living in a university dormitory before). There is no air conditioning in the room, only a fan, but the weather in Geneva is relatively cool, so it is not a big problem. Things to note are: the room is relatively small. If two people each have a large suitcase, there may not be enough space to open them all (but if you take it down and tidy up the space a little, there will be enough space to open the suitcase)
There is a shared kitchen in the basement, with all the basic kitchen utensils, but remember to clean them before use, and prepare the seasonings (oil, salt) yourself/ask other guests to borrow. You will see people from different nationalities cooking together in the kitchen. Although they usually prepare their own food/eat, it is rare to go out, so you can also try to talk to them. It is a good place to meet new friends outside.
The location is relatively close to the station (about 10 minutes walk to the train station), and only if you live in the hotel in Geneva, the transportation in the city is free, and you can also take the bus to the station to save energy, but you also need to pay attention to the time because the bus is not frequent.
There is a hidden elevator next to the lobby of the hotel. The reception staff did not tell us, so we thought we could only take the stairs. Fortunately, the people traveling with us were stronger and could help carry the suitcase upstairs. We found out on the day we left that there was an elevator (the older type, the elevator door looks like an ordinary door, and you have to open the door yourself)
RReshmabanu SulemanMy favourite hostel after visiting 4 5 hostel in europe having good variety of breakfast but only problem there was no sausage or slices or chiken which is halal had to eat only vegetarian breakfast. It's having good location easy to access to public transport and near by tourism also had free transportation card which helped alot enjoyed the stay for sure will come back again to stay

进进步RaphaellaThe breakfast was great and the location was in the city centre. The service staff are also very good, and they are joking. The elevator is small and reminiscent of Paris. The location is not so bad to find it.
