The hotel is quite clean for a 2 star hotel. Just that it’s a little dark along the hallway. And the water doesn’t flow very well in the drainage.
The door lock is the old school type with keys and didn’t look very secure.
Aircon was super cold, great after a day out in the sun.

Hotel is located 10-15 mins walk from the active nightlife of Ao Nang and beach. If you are used to walk then it’s fine, else rent a scooter. Clean hotel and rooms too. Breakfast good but limited options.
Room cleaning service tag is to be hanged out on the door knob only before 10am that’s the only concern. They don’t have napkins, toothbrush and paste, only bath towels. Hair dryer available. Majority of the guests are from western country. They were kind and nice. Swimming pool is located outdoor. If you book a room make sure you book it on top floor to see a wonderful view like this in picture. I’d rate the hotel 4.0/5. Amenities can be improved to get 5/5.

When we arrived they told us to go to a room that was not finished being cleaned yet. After the house keeping found us another room we settled in. But we found stains on the comforter when we returned back after walking to the street market. Luckily we only stayed one night.

King size bed.
They provide set meal breakfast, for some food need to be ordered at least 8pm the day before.
Or if you don’t like the breakfast menu, you can choose the instant noodle/porridge, or snacks, drinks or bread in their store max.100 baht/person. In the morning also provide free flow coffee and tea. And free flow mineral water for whole day.
They also have bar, cocktail is only 119baht.
They also provide hub space at 1st & 2nd floor, gym at 2nd floor.

This is my second time staying here. The room is clean and comfortable. I slept well. In the morning, the light is not bright enough for my eyes. It is located in an area with many things to sell. There is a Vogue shopping mall, a walking street, and a black crab market. I am very impressed.

Great hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. Did not use swimming pool, but had some relax time nearby. The coffee machine is terrible, if you love a good coffee for breakfast, you may be disappointed. Cleaned every day, provided fresh towels and good cleanness. No insects or anything like that in any rooms. 15-20 minutes walk from embankment, better with bike or car, small parking near the hotel - will be convenient. Did not hear any mosque sounds despite our window were on that side. Had great 3 days, recommend it!

This hostel is attached to a cafe. I stayed in a women-only room, but there were many shower booths for women, so I didn't have to worry about the time I used the shower.
The staff cleaned the shower booths in the morning, so they were always kept clean.
There were no amenities such as shampoo, so I recommend bringing your own.
It was also nice that the other guests were not noisy and I was able to stay quietly at night.
It was within walking distance of Ao Nang Beach, and the hostel was easy to find as it faces the main road.
The attached cafe seemed to be popular, and it was always bustling with customers.
On the last morning, I had a leisurely and delicious breakfast at the cafe before checking out.
I would like to use it again when I visit Krabi.

My stay at Tiya was really nice. Their receptionists, Bow and Chris, were incredibly helpful. They made my whole stay smooth and were always ready to answer my questions regarding places I wanted to go or things I needed. The room was just right for me as I’m a solo traveler and it had the amenities I needed. The shower drain was a little slow though but it wasn’t a major problem. Hot shower, water pressure, and toiletries provided had no issues. The bed might be a little too high or hard for some people but it was fine with me. Location was good as well since it’s nearby to so many things and the markets.
Overall, my stay was good and would highly recommend it to others for short stays at Krabi Town.

We stayed here during the low season and were pleasantly surprised by the excellent value. At this price point, everything exceeded expectations. It’s clear that this hotel used to be a high-standard place, and many of those qualities are still visible today.
The rooms are clean, and although you can see a bit of age here and there, it doesn’t take away from the comfort. The staff is responsive and quick to fix any minor issues that come up – we appreciated the attention to detail. All in all, a solid choice if you’re looking for a well-priced, clean, and well-maintained place to stay. Would definitely consider returning, especially with such discounts available in the off-season.

FF.M. MendeI stay at Royal Nakara whenever I go to Krabi, and depending on availability. I love the staff, the spacious rooms, the location - literally, less than a minute's walk away to a fully-equipped gymnasium - and the less-cluttered and quiet environment. Restaurants and the beach are just down the road.
I've already booked a room for another stay in September/October.
SSitiFThe check in and check out process was easy and smooth, we were charged 1000 baht for deposit. It took about 10 mins walk from the jetty to the hotel. They even have a private beach area which is not as crowded as the other areas in the island. The staff even helped to bring our luggage to the jetty as we had 4 hours to spare before our ferry departure, so we managed to stroll around the island without having to carry our luggage along with us. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The stay and the cleanliness of the room was great considering the cheap rate.
GGuest UserVery good hotel!
I liked the magnificent view pool, excellent breakfast, nice room. It was clean, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, the location was quite convenient. Yes, it can be quite noisy at night, but this island is not complete without night parties)
Say hello to the baby corgi who lives at the hotel!
GGuest UserExcellent hotel on the beach. The rooms, service and breakfast were pleasing. There are free kayaks, you can swim to the neighboring beaches. The hotel itself is located away from busy areas and shops. Therefore, you need to either take a bike, you can at the hotel, or buy everything you need in advance. Tuk-tuk does not go to this hotel, there are no taxis on the island. To get from the hotel to the north of the island you will need a hotel transfer. I liked the hotel, for a vacation for several days, in silence and almost no people on the beach.
GGuest UserThe place is very beautiful, at the foot of the mountains. Very quiet and with a very friendly staff. They have a pick-up that takes you to and from the beach for free, although you can take a walk through the market and the shops (30 minutes slowly). The cabins are spacious, cozy and very well acclimatized. I would repeat without hesitation.
PPaulina CatherineThe hotel was nice - view from the room was brilliant! However do note this hotel is not accessible: the hike to the room was difficult even for people in their 30s. It’s also quite far away from the town. Pool is rather dated. Longtail boat transfer to and from the pier was great bonus!pity that the reception staff weren’t nice - in all other hotels in Thailand we were welcomed with a big smile, but here the check in took forever and the staff seemed to look at the customers as a bother
NNina00We love it here. Our room 5115 was up on the mountain and we got both side of the view. Super windy up there like all the time. The breakfast was awesome. Eventho its on the top of the hill but they provide free shuttle van almost most of the time. Can go to the beach and town easily.
Everything was great except on our last day, i found out someone was using my hair comb as i noticed different hair color on it. We had room service everyday so I thought idk…. What else they did idk, or used some of my perfume or skincare product or hair product idk. Should not have this issue bcs will effect our trust on the resort.
Overall it was fantastic and will come back for the view❤️
JJanUpon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed.
We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay.
Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud.
We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much.
The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel.
Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable.

GGuest UserThe resort is located at Long Beach, which can only be reached by boat and shared by a few other resorts. Long Beach is very beautiful and not so overrun since it is mostly frequented by the people who are actually staying there. The resort provides an exceptionally good breakfast with fresh fruit and a great variety of savoury Asian and western dishes. The villas are very pretty and build into the hill with good aircon. The reception is very friendly and helpful. In the evening there are many nice places to have a beer or cocktail.
