Since our planned accommodation was out of the question at short notice, we found the Cozy Sea View Inn via ************ and had our tuk tuk driver drop us off there. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose one after viewing two rooms. We chose one on the ground floor with a small terrace. The room was very spacious, clean, well equipped and smelled very good. There was a fitness studio right next to our room, which can be used by hotel guests. We didn't take advantage of this, but we still thought it was a great opportunity. The manager Rajesh was very friendly and helpful. When he found out that we wanted to travel further to Unawatuna, he offered to take us with him since one of his drivers had to go that direction anyway. The location of the hotel, on a side street off the main street, was also ideal for us. The beach was within a few minutes' walk, as was a huge selection of restaurants and other shopping opportunities. We were really happy about our spontaneous stroke of luck and would love to come back.

Jaga Bay Resort was fantastic! I arrived in town and the place I had booked did not have my booking and Jaga Bay came to the rescue. This is a family run local business. Jaga the owner supports local children with their education through his own personal donations and those of past guests. I was being a sticky beak one morning as a crowd of women and children were having a little ceremony and thanking Jaga. He explained to me that since the tsunami the hotel and past guests supported orphaned children to finish their schooling. There are only two children left so now they support local children in need. This warmed my heart so much as I saw such genuine support and appreciation with everyone there. I was in Weligama before a friend's wedding and was in desperate need for an under garment for my Sari. Jaga's wife and main office lady went above and beyond for me on new years eve...I managed to find an awesome tailor, personalised tuktuk driver's and first class service...and the best breakfast view! I will always come back here. Thank-you so much!

The gold bubble was a fantastic place to stay. I was a little worried traveling by myself to Sri Lanka for the first time but the staff at Gold Bubble put me at ease. Upon arrival, I was given one of the staff's what's app numbers, and was able to text any time with any questions I had. They were very attentive and always asked what I was up to for the day. It felt like having 2 brothers help me out on my trip. They served a lovely breakfast every day with fresh fruit, toast, an egg and coffee. Gold Bubble is a comfortable hotel with a 5 star staff. I felt comfortable, it was clean, and I felt safe during my stay. I would book again next time. This was a beautiful hotel. The location is great because it is inside the Galle Fort. The staff was very friendly and the room was nice. There was air conditioning and a fan. The shower drain was a bit slow which caused the water to overflow a little. We only stayed here one night, but overall a lovely stay. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

This was the second stop on this island, and we were very lucky with the choice of this Hotel. A wonderful room, everything is thought out and done with taste.Comfortable. We were very warmly welcomed here. The people was very helpful and unobtrusively helped us. incomparable breakfasts, specially selected for you. Самое лучшее расположение, прям на берегу океана в удаленном от трассы и шума месте. Отель выбирали по приезду, не бронируя. Просмотрели очень много. Остановились на этом, учитывая адекватную стоимость, расположение, шикарный вид из окна и просторные номера. Персонал вежливый, выполняли все наши просьбы. Учитывая то, что сервис в Шри Ланке ниже среднего, в номерах не убирают, только по нашей просьбе, но так практически во всех отелях. О номере: очень большой, светлый, с панорамными шумоизоляционными окнами, с огромной удобной кроватью и балконом. Мебель не первой свежести. Интерьер обычный. Завтраки однообразные (яйца, фруктовый салат, фрэш, тосты, чай, кофе), но можно заказать за доп. плату по меню, готовят вкусно, но дороговато по сравнению с другими кафе. Мы ходили ужинать в Пети-Пети и Зефир (там очень вкусно), в Папа Манго. Радом с отелем в 2х минутах расположен Coconut tree hill. Отель расположен на замечательном черепаховый пляже, волны не большие, людей мало, очень комфортно, удобно с детьми. До главного пляжа Мириссы 20 мин вдоль пляжа пешком, но там большие волны, подходит серферам, плавать не комфортно, мы туда ходили только вечером в кафе. Мы отдыхали большой группой из 25 человек. Все были в разных отелях. Но Seastar мне понравился больше всего. Если не сильно привередливы к сервису и интерьеру, могу смело рекомендовать!

Wake N Flow was amazing. From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, we felt at home. The staff was all so kind and courteous when we asked questions or needed help getting around the city. The property itself is currently under small renovation but everything was kept clean and out of the way. The location was ideal because it’s only a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the grocery store.

We chose Villa Surf Beach to spend our New Year holidays. We have never regretted it! The restaurant is just amazing. The ocean view, the sizes and taste of the food, cozy atmosphere, and super friendly and welcoming stuff... Best days! Definitely want to come back again. The rooms are also beautiful. Clean and tidy. I love how both the restaurant and the villa are made with the same design elements. Love the arts on the wall and wooden handmade furniture. Stylish and elegant. The location is very сonvinient. FoodCity supermarket is just across the road. And from the villa, you can get to Galle Fort for just 5-10 minutes! The Dewata beach is perfect for surfing, feels like a private place and is not so crowded as Weligama. Already want to come back again :)
