Matsue universal hotel is a good hotel. It is located nearby train station which is more convenient to transport. I can go to the city closed to hotel. It is comfortable for me to go shopping. Bedroom is good but there is small smell from furniture. It is a big room and service is good. I recommend you to book this hotel, good price, good place and good facilities.

3 people traveled and booked 2 rooms. The hotel was booked on Ctrip one day in advance. The price was OK, but the airport was a bit far from Matsue Station. We took a taxi from JR Station to the hotel for 3 people, which cost more than 1,000 yen. However, the price of Matsue Hotel near JR was higher, so we booked the cheaper one. But this hotel is very clean and quiet. There is a hot spring in the auxiliary building on the 3rd floor, which is quite comfortable. The hot spring exit is small, but it feels quite clean. The environment is also bright. The hotel rooms are small. If you go out with 1-2 people, the area can be tolerated, but it is a bit inconvenient to open the suitcase.

Pick-up is on the road in front of the station. You will go around and cross the road. There are izakayas nearby.

Overall, the hotel facilities are old, and the area around Songjiang Station is not very prosperous. It feels like a slow life in the countryside, but the service staff are very considerate and friendly to foreigners. Recommended

The location, cleanliness and space are all very good, but the information on Trip.com is not complete with pictures and text, because this hotel does not include hot springs. If I knew that there was no hot spring at this price, I would choose DormyInn next to the station. This time, due to the misleading information, the stay experience was greatly reduced.

目当ての松江城には歩いて行くことができました。ホテルの無料貸出自転車もありましたが、利用せずに周辺を歩いて回ることで事足りました。お部屋は思ったより狭くて、古いけど、清潔感はありました。全室に温泉が引かれていて、とても良かったです。近隣のお店で夕食利用時に優待特典がありました。ある店では付け出しがサービスとか。チェックイン前には駐車場へ止めることはできず、早めに行くと提携の駐車場を案内はしていただけました。追加料金は必要でしたが、特に困ることはありませんでした。

At first, I didn't have high expectations of it being just another business hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, the hotel's interior is stylish and cool. The corridors also have a nice, moist atmosphere with minimal lighting. The bath changing room is compact, and the hot spring water is a little slimy, so you'll feel warm after your bath. On the second floor, there are chairs made by local companies in the lounge, so you can relax while reading manga. The breakfast was very delicious. The side dishes had a homemade feel and were of high quality. The rice and miso soup were also good! Personally, I thought the smoothies were delicious. I travel for business about 80 nights a year, and this hotel gave me energy. I would recommend this to everyone.

Perfect hotel for those traveling by public transport around Japan -- so convenient to walk right out the door to the station :). As mentioned by other reviews, facilities and free foood are fantastic -- in additional to the bathing spaces, there are a number of lovely sitting areas spread across the building to work in. Room was clean and up to standard albeit on the smaller side and staff is friendly and helpful!

The clerk was very friendly and I was able to spend a pleasant time. The room is clean and the shower head is miraculous!
