Love everything about this hotel. Excellent location with a convenient store nearby. Even though it says they don't provide breakfast, they offer free, filling, and delicious bakery items and coffee đ
Nice and clean hotel in a convenient location. Some conbinis in less then 2min walking distance, a coin laundry on the other side of the street. Area is full of night live but not noisy at all. Would recommend.
This hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from Hiroshima Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers arriving by train or needing easy access to transportation. The proximity to the station saved us both time and money on local transport.
The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, and all common areas were well-maintained and hygienic. It's clear that the housekeeping staff takes great pride in their work.
What makes this hotel particularly appealing is its affordable pricing despite the prime location near the station. Usually, hotels so close to major transportation hubs come with premium prices, but this property offers excellent value for money without compromising on quality or convenience.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hiroshima. The combination of strategic location, cleanliness, and reasonable rates makes it an ideal choice for budget-conscious travelers who don't want to sacrifice convenience or comfort.
This hotel has a unique way of serving people, on my travel around the world never a hotel give a dinner for their guest only this one, dinner and breakfast is free, although they open their check in process late @4 pm and very strick about it, you you can plan ahead just leave your bags to them and then get your plan early then return after 4 pm. The room is small but clean and organized, hot water is very strong so be careful. The location is in the neighborhood about 8 mins walk toward the train station. They have a big bath area with hot tub and dry sauna. I recommend this hotel to all traveler in hiroshima.
It is quite close to the commercial area and there are convenience stores around.
The service is OK, but please note that the so-called double room is actually just a big bed.
There is a razor, and you have to check out at 10 am. You will be charged for overtime.
For Hiroshima, it is OK!
We arrived late after a long day drive to Hiroshima and was greeted by friendly front desk staff. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was with the view of the Hiroshima Peace Park. Was glad that the park is just 5min walk away, which is our main itenary. Itâs easy to find nice bistro , cafes or ramen stores just around the hotel. Totally enjoy this hotel and I am sure to come back if I come back Hiroshima in future
Very affordable hotel that boasts clean and quiet rooms. The rooms were abit small but we knew that beforehand. As with many Japanese hotels, the amenities were top notch with great design thinking. We tried to use the laundry but it always full - thereâs a waiting list and no reservation allowed. We went to a coin & wash shop 5 mins away for about the same price. Location wise itâs a 5min walk to the Main Street of streetcars so pretty convenient. 10mins walk to Hondori too.
Walkable distance to hiroshima station, there's also a 7-11 around the corner, able to leave luggage at reception at L2 before check-in time. Room is relatively small but clean. Bed is super-single size.
The location of this hotel is the best. It is close to the tram line and at a walking distance from the Hiroshima Memorial Peace Park and museum. Shopping area ,market and restaurants were close by in Hondori.
The room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff was very welcoming, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was sumptuous and there was a tea/coffee machine available in the lounge round the clock.
We enjoyed our stay here and would greatly recommend it.
I had an exceptional stay at your hotel! The room was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and provided a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly and professionally. The amenities were top-notch, and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. I truly appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of my stay. Thank you for creating such a wonderful experienceâI canât wait to return!

GGuest UserOk, this one is difficult to rate.
The room comes with a magnificient view on the sea. That's what made me chose that place.
But it is remote. So, if you have no car, except walking a good 2km from the train station along a road.
There is nothing to eat there. It is a stop/sleep/leave concept of hotel. Once again, if you have no car... you won't walk back the 2km to find something to eat.
You sleep on the floor. No surprise here and I slept particularly well so, no complains. Just be aware of that.
Toilets, bath, all is shared.
Room are old but all ok and one of the biggest space I got during this trip. Furnitures are also old. You may feel like you are staying at grandma place for a while.
The building, from the 70's probably, is not sound proof. You may enjoy your neighbor sleep. As I did.
I did book for 2. Probably because Trip was not proposing other option or because it was the cheapest one, not sure. The lady at the entrance kept me waiting for 15mn for that reason showing that she was embarrassed to give me the keys for that already paid room. This moment was uncomfortable to say the least.
The remote part, the furnitures style, the oldish atmosphere, the old room door still requiring a key and that squeak a little bit... may not please everyone. It comes with its sweet creepy feeling.
Not an hotel for everyone. But damn, the view in the morning... splendid.
EEmmaThe room is small but adequate for two people. The room has a microwave, refrigerator, and kettle. The hotel is 20-30 minutes from the Peace Memorial Park. Public transportation is nearby. Hiroshima Station is 30 minutes away. Self-check-in and check-out are available, although the reception is open 24 hours a day.
GGuest UserInitially we booked the wrong night by mistake. I immediately had sent letter to the host, just 2 minutes after that mistake. And at first, host said, that they would refund without any problems, but after that he turned down our ask for refund and offered only date change, which was the problem, because the price was 2.5x more on the dates, that we needed and we would never stay at the place so expensive. In the end we had to make additional payment to stay for only one night, just to not loose the first money transfer.
And host refused to talk about why he changed his initial position and what is wrong with the refund 2 months prior to the stay. Even that we had assured him, that it was really a mistake (confused âmarâ and âmayâ in the app) and sent him our plane tickets,.
He also told us, that he can't give us refund, because he prepared the room and because of the booking he couldn't rent room to another person and lost money, which I find highly unlike, since the first response from him was very quick and the wrong booking was made 2 hours before midnight, so it's very unlikely, that someone else would rent it.
Overall, I don't think that it could be considered as hospitality.
The place itself is nice, if booked for an appropriate price. Don't expect luxury, but a simple, spacious room with a balcony and a view on the road and trees.
GGuest UserThis hotel has a large room with a tatami living room on the fifth floor. The room smelled of cigarettes, and the public bathroom and toilet were in separate areas. There were public toilets on the fourth and fifth floors. The men's restroom was completely visible from the hallway. The private toilet behind it was for women. The private toilet on the fifth floor was Japanese-style, making it difficult for modern people to use. I imagine families with children would have difficulty using this room. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, requiring a trip to the first-floor lobby to get work done. Unlike Japanese homes, there was no air conditioning outside the rooms, and the hallways were extremely hot. Although I'm Japanese, I found the fifth-floor tatami room difficult to stay in. I wish they'd provide a toilet in the room, even if it was just a toilet.A card key is required to enter the hotel between midnight and 5am. If you are jet-lagged and plan to go out at night, don't forget to request a card key from the front desk. This card key is not usually provided for the tatami rooms on the 5th floor.

JJan LowHotel is not big. Room is not big but it is fully equipped. Room looks new n is very clean. Housekeeping though is every 4 days but they provide clean towels n trash bag in plastic bag n hang it at room door. All staff from parking staff, front desk n kitchen staff were all very friendly. English is adequately understood. Mechanical lift car park service is provided by hotel at „1000 per day. It was quite nervous to manoeuvre the car into the tight spaced garage. 2nd night, car was mechanically park incorrectly. This part was rather troublesome as the hotel had to call the car lift company to fix the error. Other parking areas nearby available too. Free breakfast at lobby is various types of onigiri, miso soup n 1 more soup (french onion/ mushroom). Location is perfect, short walk to so many restaurants, departmental store, supermarket, convenient stores. First time tried this hotel n itâs really good. Will come back/ will try out their hotels in other cities as well.

GGuest UserThe hosts at this Ryoken are so welcoming, friendly and helpful! They picked us up from the ferry terminal when we arrived and dropped us back there on departure. This was crucial as we would have otherwise struggled with our suitcases up the hills and through the labyrinth of small streets! The location is a little bit away from the central area, but that is what we wanted. It was so peaceful at night, the deer wandered past our the front as we relaxed in the open air footpath. The food was nothing short of excellent. They specialise in seafood dishes so if you have an allergy it would be important to let the hosts know before you arrive. The rooms were simply and elegantly appointed: we had everything we needed. The onsen onsite was fantastic! After a long day of walking we felt very relaxed afterwards.
Thank you so much to the hosts for making our stay on Miyajima unforgettable!
SSarah H.Location ok, near the tramway, but not the nicest street. The room is very hot, uncomfortable and tiny. And itâs not exactly 2 beds. Thereâs one double bed and then thereâs a very high and uncomfortable stepladder to reach a mattress that is very close to the ceiling. The staff doesnât speak any English and we had to use Google translation with everyone. We were given the wrong room at first and waited 40 minutes to check-in. The woman didnât know we had already paid for the room. Then the next day, we asked to leave our luggage before taking the train which they agreed to. And when we returned to gather them, they said they would charge us for this service as we were away for more than an hour. The staff wasnât very cooperative or nice and wouldnât let us leave. There is no sign or explanation anywhere about the fact that leaving your luggage is not free. Itâs not written anywhere.
