First of all, I would like to thank the staff for their efforts and assistance during my stay. Room size is good. The bed was comfortable and clean. However, I think the hotel needs to take attention towards the bathroom, it was smelly and not well clean. Also, I advise to remove the curtain because it looks dirty and replace the shower head because it was broken and was splash everywhere make the bathroom floor all wet.

The hotel is in a good location in Legian and close to the beach. It was relatively quiet at nighttime but given the area noise was expected. The staff were helpful and kind. Given this hotel is only a year old, I was expecting there to be better upkeep of the room. There was water damage on the wall near the aircon. The bathroom was not well cleaned and the bathroom, specially the shower water smelt terrible - I reluctantly showered in it and used bottle water to wash my face and hair. I’m not even exaggerating when I say how BAD the smell of the water was which meant the whole bathroom constantly smelt disgusting. I figured this was a Bali ‘thing’ but didn’t experience this in other hotels. With greater maintenance, care and upkeep, the hotel can easily ensure it stays brand new like.

Clean and quiet place in Denpasar 🙌🏽 Great location away from the crowds, but not too far from the beach and airport (considering traffic midday) the hotel staff are very friendly, and the hotel rooms are modern and clean. Buffet style breakfast next to the pool, with a bar that was convenient to meet with an old friend. Will definitely stay here again! 🙌🏽

The bedsheet had some stains on it, but overall, the bed and room were still comfortable. The shared bathrooms and toilets need better maintenance—some of them didn’t have body shampoo refilled. I also hope the owner can consider installing built-in hairdryers in the bathrooms, so guests don’t have to go to the reception to borrow the only available one (and it really depends on your luck whether it's available when you need it). The location was great—within walking distance to Batu Bolong Beach and several popular restaurants. Overall, it's still a great option for a short-term, budget-friendly stay.

Feedback on Our Recent Stay at Hotel Neo Jelantik Dear Mr. Owner/Mr. Manager, I hope this message finds you well. Firstly, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude for the exceptional hospitality that we experienced during our stay. From the reception staff to the concierge, waiters, and housekeeping, everyone was incredibly helpful and made us feel welcomed. I would rate the service 5/5 without hesitation. However, I regret to inform you that our experience was marred by an unfortunate issue. After our second night, we encountered a bed bug infestation in our room, which was a significant concern. This experience left us disappointed, as it impacted what otherwise would have been a perfect stay. I kindly request that you pay closer attention to room cleanliness, especially regarding the bedding. While minor issues like the occasional roach can be expected due to the local humidity, bed bugs represent a serious concern that can tarnish the reputation of an otherwise beautiful property. As a family who also runs a chain of hotels in Malaysia, I understand the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness, particularly when it comes to pests. I’m sharing this feedback not to criticize, but because I truly care about the hospitality industry and want to see it continue to grow and improve everywhere. I believe that Hotel Neo Jelantik has a lot of potential and is a beautiful property with a unique and classy design. However, addressing this issue of cleanliness, particularly regarding bed bugs, will be essential to ensure that the hotel can maintain its reputation as a top-tier destination in Kuta, Bali. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to resolve this matter. Warm regards, Mikh Tan Sri Goh

This hotel is great value for money! It’s quite dark in the rooms so it’s great for sleeping in, in the morning. The breakfast is decent but not phenomenal. It’s located next to a 24-hour laundromat and it’s close to a mall. It’s also located close to Carla’s spa which offers amazing, affordable massages. I would recommend this hotel!

AAllgoOhana has some good things about it, and could be a good retreat with some investment. I booked a Deluxe room for one night and checked out the Apartment because I wanted to stay there long-term (thanks to the gym proximity), but the A/Cs were very weak, so I couldn't extend my stay into the Apartment, and the Deluxe room was too small and uncomfortable for laptop work. Pros: - Away from the street and pretty quiet for now (though there's a construction site right next to it, see rooftop photo) - Nice bamboo-lined entrance after you open the gate with the security code - More comfortable beds than in 8/9 other places I've stayed in Bali so far. Not Tempurpedic or anything that fancy, but softer (perhaps a memory foam topped over a coil mattress). - Only 5 minutes walk to the best gym in the area (”WRONG” gym) - The room was clean, the towels smelled very nice, but the glasses looked dirty - Pretty good light blocking curtains - Insect mesh on the windows! This is such a common-sense feature, but it was the first time I saw in Bali, after staying at 5 hotels/resorts, 1 villa, and 3 rooms at PARQ Ubud - Nice (for the area) rooftop views, with beautiful sunsets - Helpful staff assisted with carrying luggage - There's a small communal kitchen with a microwave and utensils you can use - Nice (but unpopulated) rooftop bar area Cons: - The street entrance is a construction war zone, with garbage and everything (see photos) - Not just the A/C in my room, but both split A/C units in the Apartment, were VERY weak (so 3 units in total). The A/C in my small room only managed to drop the temperature by 2.5C (4.5F) during the 2 hours of running at maximum (loudest) fan speed (28.6 -> 26.2 / 83.5F -> 79F, see digital thermometer/CO2 sensor photos). Staff told me they could call engineering to take a look, but the facilities/appliances were old (the subtext being, don't have much hope). - The chair was more of a torture device than a chair. Who in their right mind would buy anything like that except perhaps for a ”DO NOT DESIGN FURNITURE LIKE THIS” exhibit? - Only one power outlet for the desk/chair area, occupied with the WiFi router, so I had to plug my laptop into the bathroom power outlet - No water provided. Staff told me to go to a minimart. The closest one walking north was Circle K, and the walk is the typical stressful walk in Canggu, with scooters and cars parked on the sidewalk, construction all over the place, and the frequent lack of pavement - The place was advertised as a coliving on Colivings, but there were maybe a total of 2 other guests there, and no sense of community whatsoever. - The floating beds looked dirty (see photos) - Due to the height of the pool, it's only exposed to sunshine until about 2pm - The Apartment has an odd choice of 4 chairs around a table instead of a couch, and no microwave or toaster or blender in the kitchen. Good light blocking curtains in the bedroom though, and its view is relatively private when the curtains are pulled open.

GGuest UserThe location of the house is very good. It is very close to Ubud Palace and Ubud Market. The house is in an alley. When you get out of the alley and walk to the street, you will find Ubud Market. There are many restaurants and handicraft shops on the street. You can take your time to browse. The furnishings in the room are relatively simple. The hygiene is OK. However, the king-size bed room for more than 100 yuan does not come with toiletries, which is a bit bad. The shower gel and shampoo are both in small bottles, and there is no mark which is shower gel and which is shampoo.

SShikin KhairilStayed here for two nights and this place is amazing! My main purpose of visiting Ubud is to experience the nature and this is exactly what I get at this villa as it is surrounded by nature. I purposely opt for 'Holly Retreat Room' because I know it comes with a private pool just in front of our room (though shared with another room beside us). There will be a 5-10mins walk from the 'entrance reception' to the room. It's just a small alley and no vehicle is able to access it. The hospitality is SUPERB! Staffs were very helpful and accommodating. There were couple of times when it was raining heavily and the walking alley from the entrance to our room is not covered. So we just contacted the hotel staff and they will come bringing umbrella + escort you. They also helped to carry our luggage, bring food that we ordered from Grab from the entrance to our room (because it was raining) and bring anything that we need upon request. The only downside are, there is limited power plugs and there's only one mirror in the room which is in the toilet. A bit challenging for a woman to get ready :D Anyhow, I had a good time at this place and would recommend others to come and experience it :)

JJmuljaThe hotel location is good, quiet area, and if you want to calm your mind, this is one of the options. The staff was helpful and provide good service. Somehow, the restaurant need more staff, I feel bad when I only saw 2 people working to serve many guest, and many of the task are being delayed. The room is big, clean (but this hotel is in the middle of jungle, so don’t expect to have a free bugs room) this is normal. They have many swimming pool, but the infinity pool seems like dirty, cannot see the bottom part, so no courage to use it. Need more attention to the Infinity pool area including pool, chair, shower, etc. other pool was fine. Food was okay but not many options. Overall the hotel was good with that price.

ВВероника ГоршковаIt was absolutely amazing! We really enjoyed the villa (Sand 4), and we would love to come back sometime. We rented a bike a couple of minutes away from the villa, so I'm writing from the perspective of someone who doesn't need to walk or take a taxi to get to another location. In this case, there might be some questions about the accommodation. I loved everything about the villa: the interior is stunning, the photos are accurate, and the size is perfect - there's no extra space that would be useless, and everything is functional. The personal pool was amazing - we swam every day, it was just great. There were some issues with the shower, as the water didn't switch to cold even though there was a thermostat, but it didn't ruin our stay. The breakfasts were delicious - we had a choice of four different types during our stay, and everything was tasty, especially the healthy fruit option. The Wi-Fi was quite good. The inside and outside of the hotel was very clean - they always kept it tidy, everything was new, there was plenty of greenery, and the lighting was well-designed. Once, the shower drain got clogged, but it was immediately fixed. The kitchen has new appliances and utensils, and the villa is perfect for a long stay. The only thing I would like to add is a washing machine so that I don't have to find a laundry service, but that would make it a perfect 15 out of 10. The bedroom can be stuffy and humid in the evening, as it is adjacent to the shower, but it might be helpful to turn on the air conditioning when leaving the house. There are almost no insects - a few small ants outside by the pool and two lonely mosquitoes that got into the bedroom when we didn't close the bathroom window. I could go on for a long time praising this villa, but my experience was 9.8 out of 10 due to minor water issues and insufficient air conditioning in the bedroom, but everything else was absolutely amazing! The aesthetics of the courtyard and interior will forever remain in my heart, and I am very grateful for the experience.❤️
