Capsule Hotel - Zurich Airport

This capsule is at Zurich airport. It's a pretty standard capsule hotel that is overpriced simply by location. I only stayed here due to a Taylor Swift concert booking up most hotels in the city. Location was actually a bit of a walk from the arrivals hall and was a little difficult to find. Shower facilities were nice. Self check in machine didn't seem to work for me but could use it to check out.

The hotel is just a short walk from the station✨ It was clean and comfortable🙆♂️😊 At first I was a little worried about checking in and out at the unmanned front desk, but I was able to complete the procedure without any problems! There were many USB ports, which was very helpful🥹🙏 The room was also air-conditioned and functional, making it very comfortable! It's a shame that we only stayed there for a short time before our flight on the last day of our trip😢 Next time I come to Switzerland, I'd love to enjoy a meal included! Thank you very much!

An affordable, at prime location and tidy clean hotel in Zurich, Switzerland. Very near to main railway station. Breakfast is also available. I recommend to stay here and enjoy the beauty of Zurich with low budget specially for youth 😀😀😀😀

The biggest problem is accessing this studio. The owners always claim, but never send the password for access in advance to the guests. So we ended up stuck with our suitcases in the dark and it was pouring with rain having to call a phone number displayed on the premises door. This was answered eventually and our access was granted. We had to repeat this process to gain access to the inclusive internet and on our checkout to find out where to leave and secure the key. Location is good as its convenient for the tram station which is for No.8 and No.3 trams. These take you to Belleview or Central respectively. The location is peaceful and there is a wonderful Vietnamese restaurant directly opposite the main tram terminus (100meters walk). The room itself has almost everything needed for your stay, but lacks a washing machine/dryer for clothes. It has a large radiator that quickly warms the room and electronic venetian blinds. Kettle, fridge, small cooker and microwave, shower and TV are provided but none of the channels were English speaking (even English movies were re-dubbed into German).

Room was facing the tram and it was very disruptive to our rest. We kept waking up multiple times in the night.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to the train station, the lake and the old town. Beautiful appearance. However, the taxi driver only dropped us at the entrance of the alley outside, and it looked like we were going to walk in. In the middle of the night, I fumbled for ten minutes before I found the side facing the river. Although there are not many types of restaurants, they are very exquisite. The service is good. We were still waiting for us to check in at 12:30 in the evening. We were given free water and drinks and could store our luggage. The family suite is ok in size, with a small terrace and extra quilts in the closet, which is very friendly to families with children. The room facilities are a bit outdated, but it still has its advantages.

I booked two rooms with a garden view, but one room faced the road and houses while the other faced the hotel's restaurant and some blocks of houses with a few trees. So, I guess it must be the ”garden view,” though clearly not all rooms have a true garden view—unless we have different definitions of a garden. The shower was ridiculously tiny, with a triangular shape. I believe any man larger than average would have difficulty using it. You can barely turn around in the shower, and the water flow is not stable, sometimes fast and sometimes slow. The breakfast was poor. The restaurant waitress did her very best, despite being the only one helping all the customers in the restaurant and also assisting with checkouts. It was clear how busy she was. However, we waited for more than 45 minutes for boiled eggs to be replenished in the buffet area. The fried eggs were very oily and not fluffy at all—if you've been to a cha chaan teng in Hong Kong, you know what I mean. The choices and amount of food were very limited, and we left with empty stomachs. It was probably the worst hotel breakfast ever.

The room had a strange smell, the balcony door collapsed, which made people feel scared, and there was the sound of a train passing by while I was sleeping, making it impossible to have a good rest. What's worse is that someone is smoking outside, and the smell of cigarette smoke is so stinky❌!

Langstrasse
Trip Inn Zurich Hotel is a cheap budget hotel which met our expectation for a simple accommodation. Also, the supermarket is just around the corner. However, we can’t seem to have an option not to have the staff from coming in to clean our room whenever we are out for an activity. We prefer to have more privacy as we do keep some of our less important belongings in the room. Overall, it is a good experience.
