Overall, it was okay. However, there were two things I wasn't too happy about. First, on the day of check-in, I arrived at the hotel at 2:40 PM. The front desk told me that a room had just become available and they would clean it immediately. They said they would call me once it was ready and suggested I go to the lounge for afternoon tea in the meantime. I waited until 3:00 PM, and no one called me. I called the front desk again, and they said the room was still being cleaned and asked me to continue waiting. I said, ”No, the check-in time is listed as 3:00 PM. Why isn't the room ready?” The front desk asked me to wait a moment, waited about twenty seconds, and then said the room was ready for check-in. I was like, ”Huh??” In the end, I did manage to check in smoothly. Second, the soundproofing in the room was very poor. I could hear people talking in the hallway and the opening and closing of doors in the next room very clearly.

This hotel boasts an excellent location in the heart of May Fourth Square. It's just a 10-minute walk to MixC shopping mall, and popular attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, the Underwater World, and the Olympic Sailing Center are all easily accessible. The rooms are spacious with a well-designed layout, good natural light, and effective soundproofing, making for an overall comfortable and pleasant stay. The only hiccup occurred on the day of departure – my room door seemed to have accidentally locked itself when I returned, and my electronic key card stopped working. Although I called the front desk immediately, the response after verifying my information wasn't quick, and the wait to get the door open felt a bit long. I eventually had to go downstairs to sort it out in person. Luckily, I didn't miss my high-speed train. I'd suggest the hotel optimize its emergency response mechanism, especially strengthening staff deployment for room services during peak hours and improving access control system inspections.

Our butler, Ellie, was incredibly warm and thoughtful, and proactively communicated with us throughout our stay. I booked a king-sized bed, but when I got to the lobby, I wanted to ask the front desk if I could switch to two twin beds. The male staff member who was assisting me was about to check when a female front desk staff member at another computer interjected, saying it wasn't possible, they were fully booked with a group today. I'm okay with not switching; I was just asking to see if it was an option, as it would be perfect for my child to have an extra comforter. But I was a bit taken aback by the female staff member's attitude at that moment – haha, just a minor hiccup. The hotel has direct access to Wanda Plaza from B1. In the evening, my mom took two bags of trash downstairs to throw away. She carried them all the way to the 26th-floor lobby but couldn't find a large trash can. When she asked the front desk where she could dispose of them, a male staff member immediately took them from her. We were very grateful, and also a bit embarrassed. The view from upstairs overlooking Suochengli and the city nightscape is absolutely fantastic. The pool is clean, and my child loved it. The staff kept a close eye on the pool, and the rule about changing into slippers before entering the pool was very well enforced. We went to breakfast around 9 am, and there was plenty of food. However, the service quality of the restaurant staff was noticeably lower than the lobby staff. Our table didn't have cutlery, so I had to ask a young male server for some. Later, we ran out of tissues while eating, and when I asked for some, the staff member actually asked me how many I wanted! I jokingly asked, 'How big is one sheet?' Haha, the tissues were so large that my child even asked me to take a picture of him with one. These were all fun little anecdotes, and overall, I was very satisfied. 👍

Exceeded my expectations! My friends kept complimenting me on choosing this hotel. From the environment and cleanliness to the staff's service, everything reflected the owner's genuine dedication. The breakfast selection was not only rich but also featured local specialties – a wonderful day truly started with a delightful breakfast. It's worth mentioning that they upgraded my room, and although the west gate renovation caused a slight inconvenience for getting around, the staff's thoughtful service completely offset that small drawback. When checking out, the front desk even gave me a souvenir, which was a lovely touch. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!

This time we brought our 14-month-old baby to Qingdao for a relaxing trip, and choosing the Hyatt was absolutely the right decision! Even before we arrived, they communicated with me online to arrange a crib and bed rail, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's café has direct access to the beach, so every morning we could take the little one down to play for a bit before coming back for breakfast! This was so convenient for low-energy parents like us! Overall, the service was excellent, with no real shortcomings!

It's a fantastic choice for business trips, providing a very pleasant and comfortable experience.

It was a very satisfying stay overall. The staff were friendly and responded quickly whenever I needed assistance. Thanks to Liu and Ding, I was able to stay very comfortably. I really appreciate their help. Location – The location is very convenient. It’s within about a 10-minute walk to Wanxiangcheng and around 5 minutes to May Fourth Square. It was also easy to catch a taxi right in front of the hotel. Room – The room was spacious and apartment-style, which makes it a great option for stays longer than one night. It was clean, and the slippers were replaced daily. The refrigerator was large, and having a separate living room makes it especially suitable for families. The only minor downside was that the bathroom shower head was quite small and a bit inconvenient to use. I brought a portable shower head, which worked well for me. And the hair dryier was not that good. Overall, it was a very satisfying place to stay. I had a great experience.

The hotel's location is excellent, right between several major banks and within a five to six-minute walk to popular attractions. It's also very close to many great restaurants, so I'm really happy with the location. The hygiene is great, and the toiletries provided clearly show a lot of thought. The front desk always has warm bottled water available to grab anytime, and there's a hot water dispenser behind the front desk for boiling water, which is a big plus! 👍🏻 There were always at least two staff members at the front desk. From a distance, they'd already make eye contact and ask if you needed anything – another big plus! 👍🏻 I felt very comfortable staying here during my trip to Yantai and will definitely choose this hotel again when I return.
