Staying at the Mandu Hotel for this trip was an amazing experience! The location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean, tidy, spacious, and bright, with soft bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, always ready to help with every request, paying attention to all the little details. It offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit. Highly recommended!

My stay this time was great! The lady at the front desk was so helpful during check-in, and she even offered a complimentary room upgrade, which gave me better lighting and a nicer view. The hotel was clean, and the facilities were new. Plus, there were plenty of outlets for charging, making for a very comfortable stay.

I had a wonderful 4-day stay at this Ibis Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — it’s connected to a shopping mall and surrounded by many food shops, which made everything so convenient. Whether I needed a quick meal or wanted to do some shopping, everything was just a few steps away. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and I really appreciated that they generously provided extra bottles of water during my stay. It’s those small details that make a big difference. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety of food to start the day right. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for convenience, cleanliness, and good service. 🌟

Overall, the Shangri-La in Qinhuangdao is definitely worth a vacation! ⛱️ 1️⃣ The hotel management is very professional and the service level is high. Although there was a bit of a queue when checking in on the first day, someone immediately helped with our luggage as soon as we entered. The management even directed guests to the 23rd floor for check-in when they saw the long queues. 2️⃣ The cleanliness is impeccable. Before check-in, a manager even performs a hygiene inspection. The bedding and pillows are incredibly comfortable; I practically fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow. 3️⃣ The five-star standard is truly impressive. There's a wide variety of breakfast options, and the desserts and dinner at the executive lounge are very thoughtfully prepared. Turndown service is also available. The swimming pool water is crystal clear and maintained at 28 degrees Celsius. We barely left the hotel during our entire holiday. 4️⃣ The hotel has a beautiful garden, and with just a card swipe, you're right on the beach where you can feed seagulls. 5️⃣ The soundproofing is excellent. We stayed in the room closest to the elevator and were initially worried about noise, but we couldn't hear a thing.

Extremely close to Pigeon Nest Park, the sea-view room offers a direct and beautiful view of the beach, dotted with numerous seagulls. It's only a 600-meter walk from the hotel to Pigeon Nest Park, making it perfect for those who want to go beachcombing or catch the sunrise in the morning. A small tip: avoid taking the electric vehicles on the roadside that offer to take you to the beach.

I kept hearing about the new Lanxi opening and wanted to check it out, but it turns out I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. **Location:** It's in Phase 10, not in the main resort area. It takes about 30 minutes to walk there from the beach. **Parking:** There aren't many parking spots next to the hotel, and the signs are unclear. I had to drive all the way around to get to the lobby, only to find out later that I could have just walked through the Sea Restaurant. **Note⚠️:** You *can* drive to the main resort area, but it's not free!!! **[No one informed me of this during check-in.]** **Room & Environment:** The sea view was decent. However, there were mold spots on the walls in the room, and the balcony door was broken; it needed an engineer to fix it. The fixed showerhead in the bathroom sprayed water in various directions, and the water pressure was low. The soundproofing was terrible; I could hear the strong sea breeze outside in the middle of the night and even the sound of toilets flushing in surrounding rooms. **Shuttle Bus:** To go from the hotel to the main resort area, just wait for the bus at the hotel entrance. To return to the hotel from the main resort area, you need to contact your butler to arrange a car. **Sea Restaurant:** This was the only restaurant available near the hotel. The cashier lady's service was good. The overall food quality was not good and couldn't compare to the restaurants in the main resort area. I saw a restaurant manager (perhaps) asking for feedback from diners. I thought they would ask everyone (there weren't many tables occupied at the time), but they clearly only asked the property owners. Perhaps the opinions of hotel guests aren't considered important. **Conclusion:** For this price point, if you want a sea view, stay at Club Med. If you want convenience, stay at Anlan. You can even park for free in the main resort area. This place truly isn't good value for money.

Complimentary three travel photos: Extremely satisfied! The makeup artist was incredibly patient and skilled; we were very happy with the makeup and styling she did for us. She also helped us choose an outfit that perfectly matched the photography style, instantly elevating the quality of the photos. The photographer was excellent at guiding our poses and emotions. We're not usually good at taking pictures, but this time we ended up with cinematic, blockbuster-like photos – a wonderful surprise that provided a lot of emotional value. The photo selection assistant was also very patient, helping us go through several rounds of selections until we found photos we both loved, with absolutely no pressure to choose more. The entire process was very comfortable and rewarding. Highly recommend! Facilities: The facilities are modern and comprehensive; you can find everything you need for dining, entertainment, and relaxation right at the hotel. Service: The service was impeccable, and we didn't encounter any impatience throughout our stay.

A true 5 Star experience. The room is top notch with a large window overlooking the sea. Service is outstanding in all categories. Breakfast is full and rich. The hotel dinner buffet is so extraordinary that I say you must try it at least once! We were amazed at the variety of dishes and the quality. Hotel location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk and you can have your feet in the sand or water. The Qinhuang Alley Food Street is also within walking distance or very short cab ride. This food street is very lively and fun to visit especially in the evening. Two other recommendations for things to do are Lao Long Tou (Old Dragon Head) which you can get to by cab. And if you are a fan of the Olympics you really should visit Olympic Avenue Park. Amazing relief sculpture wall over 300 meters long portraying Olympic history. Must be seen to be believed. Thank you to all the friendly and professional staff and chefs at Grand Hotel Qinhuang for making our 4 night stay so enjoyable. Qinhuangdao is a wonderful city with so many different things to do and experience we hope we can return again.

Pros (for our stay at De Lin Hai Yue): 1. Excellent service. The front desk upgraded our room type because we had a large group. 2. Good hygiene. 3. Quiet environment. 4. Very close to Laohushi Park, about a 10-minute walk. 5. Single person soothing foot spa experience: Decent. They provided a foot bath tub and herbal sachets, and we just filled it with hot water in the bathroom ourselves. 6. Seagull feeding: They gave us a small bread to feed the little seagulls. 7. Free parking with ample spaces. 8. Both the room and hotel environment were pleasant. 9. Adequate heating in the room. 10. Good soundproofing. 11. Whenever we called the front desk during our stay, their attitude and speed in resolving issues were commendable. Cons: 1. Since it's still a bit of a distance from Laohushi Park, I feel only the 3rd-floor sea view rooms would offer a better view. We stayed on the 2nd floor with a garden view. 2. The shower uses an electric water heater, so we had to wait half an hour between showers. I don't consider this a major drawback, as the front desk informed us in advance, and the hot water heated up quickly. Situational notes: 1. We visited during the off-season, so almost all the nearby restaurants were closed. Thankfully, food delivery services were quite accessible. 2. We didn't book breakfast, so I can't comment on its quality. Here's a heads-up to avoid a place: Steer clear of Qinhuangdao First View Moonlight B&B near Jinmenghaiwan. We stayed in their 10th-floor loft, which had a good view but terrible soundproofing. The owner was incredibly rude; it felt like we were staying at their house. While we were there, the owner took a personal call in our room for at least 5 minutes. What was that about? If you don't want to run a B&B, then don't; no one's forcing you to take our business. Getting out and ordering takeout was very inconvenient. Since it's a residential area, you need an elevator card to leave, and if there are too many people, you might not be able to get back up. Deliveries couldn't enter the complex, so we had to go downstairs to pick them up. It had only one advantage: it was close to the sea and Qinhuang Xiaoxiang. However, I also need to warn against Qinhuang Xiaoxiang itself; it's just a combination of a snack street and overpriced souvenir shops, not worth visiting. Note: The B&B owner tries to persuade guests to book directly instead of through platforms. That's why I couldn't leave a review there and give them a bad rating.

This hotel is perfectly situated in Aranya Phase 6, right by the sea. It's a tranquil spot amidst the bustle. The rooms facing east offer stunning sea views, while the west-facing rooms are Loft style. I was initially worried about noise, but after staying for two nights, it was fine. I booked a room with breakfast, and there's a good selection of both Western and Chinese options, which was convenient as it saved us a trip to the canteen. The hotel provides free shuttle service for transfers, and the room came with complimentary fruit and various beverages – a very thoughtful touch. If you don't manage to get a sea view room, you can still catch the sunrise from the public terrace on the second floor. A special shout-out to our butler, she was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service – a definite plus! I've stayed in B&Bs in the park twice before, but this hotel experience was great, particularly due to the meticulous service.
