This hotel truly embodies the warm hospitality of Northeast China! The service was incredibly enthusiastic and always came with a smile. We especially loved the complimentary wellness tea in the lobby; it was so comforting to have a warm cup after being out in the snowy weather, and they were happy to refill it for us when we asked for more.
The hotel allows food deliveries, and a robot brings them directly to your room, which is an absolute godsend! It's so warm inside the room that having to bundle up, go down to the first floor to pick up an order, and then peel off all those layers again would have been a real hassle. So, a huge thank you for the robot service!
We accidentally stained the sheets and duvet cover twice, and the service was prompt and efficient in replacing them each time.
The location is fantastic, right in the city center with a bus stop directly outside the hotel, making it easy to get anywhere. Given how cold it was, we mostly took taxis, and the hotel's street-side location made pickups and drop-offs very convenient.
I highly recommend this hotel!

Comfortable hotel, with a big space area! Perfect for 2 travellers with big luggages. The aircon doesn’t work during winter, so we had to open the windows for some airflow. It’s a popular local hotel, as we can tell from many tour buses that drop people off there. They say there’s a limit of 4 bottles of water that they can give a room. Which was disappointing especially when we tend to drink a lot of water. The laundry room also closes at 9pm, and only opens at 10am. It’s very easy to get didi there though, so it’s great.

🏨 **Room Type and Stay Experience**
I absolutely loved the Dark Fragrance King Bed Room! The Mlily mattress had just the right firmness, allowing me to shed my travel fatigue and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep without any stress. The smart room control system was incredibly thoughtful; I could adjust the lights, curtains, and air conditioning with a single touch from my bed, which was super convenient for a solo traveler. The room layout was open and well-designed, with plenty of natural light. The soundproofing was also excellent—I couldn't hear any outside noise. The Chinese-style soft furnishings added an elegant and tasteful touch, making the stay both comfortable and atmospheric. Even just relaxing in the room felt incredibly pleasant.
🧹 **Cleanliness and Environment**
The cleanliness was truly impeccable! Every corner of the room was spotless, the bedding was clean and soft, and the toiletries were high-quality, making me feel completely at ease. The hotel's overall environment was elegant and tranquil, with a tasteful Chinese design in the lobby and public areas, free from any clutter. The location was an even bigger bonus: right next to MixC shopping mall and Renmin Square Metro Station. It was just a few minutes' walk to transfer metro lines or go shopping, making both commuting and finding food incredibly convenient. This added a great sense of security for a solo traveler.
💁 **Service Experience**
The service deserves endless praise! From check-in to check-out, every staff member was warm and attentive. The front desk handled check-in with impressive efficiency and proactively introduced the hotel facilities and local attractions, even helping me with my luggage to the elevator. The housekeeping aunties were meticulous and thoughtful, proactively asking about my needs and replenishing supplies promptly. One evening, when I asked for directions, a front desk staff member patiently answered my questions and even helped me check bus times. Throughout my stay, I felt a genuine sense of warmth and being at home – it didn't feel like a hotel at all, but rather like returning to a familiar place.
☕ **Breakfast and Taste**
Breakfast was full of surprises! The variety was astounding, with Chinese porridges, freshly made noodles, hot dishes, and local specialties all available. Western-style bread, coffee, and fresh fruit were equally impressive. I particularly loved the freshly made noodles here; they were authentic and comforting. The bread was soft and delicious, the coffee rich and aromatic, and the fruits were always fresh daily. The dining environment was clean and bright, and the staff proactively refilled tea/water and cleared plates promptly. A rich breakfast like this perfectly set a good mood for the whole day – truly satisfying!
In summary, my stay was flawless. I highly recommend this hotel whether you're traveling solo, on a business trip, or with friends! I've already added this hotel to my must-stay list for Changchun, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit! 👍
The overall environment of the resort is pretty good; it would probably be even better in the summer. The service is exceptional, with everyone paying great attention to detail. However, as a mom looking for a weekend getaway with my child, I found the activities to be just so-so. The snow activities themselves are free, so any amount of fun is a bonus. The hot springs, though, were really disappointing. There are only a few indoor pools, no high-temperature areas, and more importantly, they didn't feel like actual hot springs! 😦 The outdoor iron pot was impossible to use due to too much debris. From a value-for-money perspective, it's not the best choice for a weekend trip. And the kids' play area... sigh.

The hotel is right inside Songhua Lake Ski Resort, and you can see the slopes from your room. The hotel's facilities and amenities are excellent, and the service is warm and friendly. They even extended our check-out to 2 PM. It's incredibly convenient for ski enthusiasts; the Prince Snow House on the ground floor offers equipment rental, storage, and professional coaches. The front desk girl was lovely and enthusiastic, just a little shy 😊

When I was planning my trip, I looked at a lot of hotels. Honestly, we rarely choose hotels that have been operating for a very long time when we travel. However, after seeing many bloggers' recommendations and explanations, I ultimately chose the Crown Plaza 👑.
**Facilities:** The decor is indeed an older style, but I have to say, the hotel's facilities were incredibly detailed and sophisticated for their time. This hotel must have been considered super luxurious when it first opened. First, it has a wet/dry separation in the bathroom, which many new hotels and even five-star establishments don't necessarily offer. Second, the sink faucets are positioned high, which saves most of us from back strain. Third, there are hooks outside the shower for hanging clothes – such a simple amenity, yet many hotels lack a place for clean clothes while showering. Finally, the shower stall has a built-in seat, the water pressure is strong, the water is hot and comfortable, and the showerhead isn't wobbly from long-term use.
**Environment:** It's located mid-slope on Changbai Mountain. I asked the driver, and he said the Crown Plaza is already one of the highest hotels on the mountain in the vicinity, surrounded by pristine forests. It's the closest hotel to the North Slope scenic area and even offers an exclusive VIP transfer channel. There's also a shuttle bus that circulates within the scenic area to pick up and drop off guests at the hotel. What I loved most is that Julong Hot Springs is right inside the hotel, offering unlimited free access to natural volcanic springs, which washes away a day's fatigue. It's incredibly pleasant to soak in the warm, comfortable hot spring while watching the snowy world outside.
**Service:** Super-duper VIP! Even before I checked in, various butler services contacted me to arrange everything before and after my stay, including hotel transfers, booking my itinerary for the next day, and VIP transfers to the North Slope. Whatever difficulties I encountered, they were immediately handled. A huge thank you to hotel butlers Shanqiu and Songyue, and travel butler Smile, for making guests feel at home and alleviating the anxiety of arriving in an unfamiliar city. 🙏 To all the hotel staff, everyone shines in their role! 👍👍

The hotel is very close to the ski resort, within walking distance or a short shuttle ride. The shuttle service is super convenient, departing as soon as you arrive and getting you to the slopes in just 2 minutes. The hotel itself is warm, clean, and has a cozy atmosphere – you can comfortably wear a T-shirt indoors. All the staff are enthusiastic and attentive. The restaurant offers a fantastic late-night snack selection every evening, with beef noodles, beef vermicelli, orange juice, milk, and wontons – it's incredibly rich! The room layout is well-designed, and they even provided complimentary beverages. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Transitioning from the Wanda Hyatt to this hotel was like moving from hell to heaven. The price was comparable (even 100 cheaper), yet everything, from service to amenities, was vastly superior.
Upon entering the room, we found honey tea already brewed in a thermos and a beautifully arranged fruit platter. (They provide different nightly tea drinks and fresh fruit daily throughout your stay, featuring local specialties like peaches and blueberries.) The in-room coffee and tea selection were elevated by several notches, and we even received a small jar of linden honey (it was so delicious, I ended up buying some!). In the evenings, the lobby bar offered complimentary beverages and alcoholic drinks. The Hyatt, on the other hand, only had a selection of chargeable snacks and drinks, with common fruits like apples and bananas only available on the day of check-in.
The hot spring pools here offer an unbeatable view, and the overall hot spring environment is fantastic. We even spotted several chipmunks! Going in the afternoon meant there was hardly anyone around, allowing us to take photos freely. The Wanda's summer hot springs, however, were a stark contrast – it was like a sardine can, with people crammed around every pool, and a 2-3 person queue for each shower (though strangely, the men's showers had no queues).
Given that this hotel is less crowded, we were always able to snag a lovely window seat for breakfast. The breakfast spread was incredibly refined, featuring delicacies like shrimp dumplings, siu mai, soup dumplings, chicken feet, spare ribs, and large prawns. They also offered different noodle dishes daily, including Tonkotsu ramen. The soy milk and various porridges were significantly superior to the mass-produced options often found elsewhere. While the sheer variety might not match that of bustling, queue-heavy hotels like the Hyatt, it absolutely triumphs in terms of quality!
This hotel provides a full set of children's amenities, including adorable slippers, bathrobes, and even kid-friendly body lotion. In stark contrast, the Hyatt only offered children's slippers and bathrobes (during my multi-day stay, one day they even missed the bathrobe entirely), with absolutely no other provisions – even the toothbrushes provided were adult-sized.
The shuttle service here is excellent: a private car and dedicated driver for each family. They were also very helpful with luggage, and the timing was always perfect – we'd just finish exploring the area and the car would be ready to pick us up.
If I were forced to find a fault, it would be that the flooring in some areas felt a bit old and had a tendency to creak.

Service: Free pick-up, and the owner even helped carry three suitcases upstairs – very thoughtful service. Facilities: Excellent location, right downstairs from the Genting Market, with lots of small shops to browse. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful and couldn't be set to heat, so it was a bit cold.

MM741677****The front desk staff were quick and professional. We even got a room upgrade! The hotel's location is great, close to the North Scenic Area, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The breakfast had a good variety and tasted delicious. The environment is exquisite and comfortable, and the hygiene is clean and tidy. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice, especially the front desk lady. During the 817 Rice Festival, it was impossible to find a taxi, so the hotel even arranged a car to pick us up.
GGuest UserThis is our second time staying at Jinhua Suite Hotel this snow season! Manager Tang Xiaohan from the hotel called and messaged us on WeChat beforehand to understand all our needs in detail. During our stay, she'd remind us about the weather every day and even proactively offered hand warmers when it was cold. I especially want to thank Manager Tang for her exceptional dedication in helping us arrange a ski instructor for our child. When one day's ski lesson couldn't be booked, Manager Tang tirelessly helped me refresh the mini-program every day to see if there were any available instructors. It truly touched this old mother's heart! The hotel's location is super convenient for skiing; the ski center and restaurants are right downstairs. The hotel also has its own laundry room, which is a great plus. See you next snow season!
GGuest UserThe hotel service was absolutely wonderful! When we checked in, the front desk saw we were cold and immediately offered us warm bottled water. Our room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. When we went to the hot springs, the staff member managing the area was so enthusiastic. She constantly reminded us to be safe and even specially guided us to try the outdoor hot springs, which was a 100% amazing experience. Despite the cold weather, we truly felt the warmth and hospitality from the hot springs staff. She even helped us take a group photo – fantastic! 👍 Breakfast was also excellent, with delicious food and even frozen sliced pears. Next time I come to Changbai Mountain, this hotel will definitely be my first choice.
GGuest UserWe book 4 ski nights at the hotel, travelling with 10 friends. The customer service manager, Miss Yue Yuan, provided exceptional service and warmth. She was very friendly and supportive, politely greeting us. The rooms were comfortable and tidy up everyday. This trip was filled with surprises at every turn. We had a great time, and I highly recommend everyone to come here and experience their own wonderful vacation.

AAnonymous UserI came with my child this time, and I was worried about being overwhelmed by the sub-zero twenty-degree weather. But from the moment we landed, the hotel's 'Xue Man' butler took care of everything perfectly.
👉 Worried I wouldn't find the restaurant, they drew me a map.
👉 Worried I'd miss the airport shuttle, they proactively checked the schedule for me.
👉 Worried my child would be cold, they turned up the heating in the kids' room in advance.
👉 I casually mentioned wanting an early lunch, and they immediately coordinated it for me.
This isn't just a hotel butler; it's my personal itinerary planner! The room was so warm I didn't want to leave, and the ski rental shop was super convenient, just a 3-minute walk downstairs. After skiing, soaking in the hot spring just topped off the feeling of pure bliss! Getting to the ski resort was incredibly easy.
It was my first time visiting Northeast China, and I was initially worried I wouldn't adapt, but their service warmed my heart completely. From now on, when I want to ski in winter, this is my go-to place!
YYouschMy fiancé and I stayed here this weekend to celebrate our engagement.
We arrived at CGIG Nanshan Hotel feeling stressed and drained, but we have left feeling reenergized and joyful.
The food was a delicious combination of Western and Chinese to suit all guests' tastes.
The architecture was stunning; it felt like we were staying at a castle in France. Size was not the only impressive feature though. Every corner of the building was cleaned thoroughly at all times.
The staff were all kind, attentive and treated us like royalty. When there was one small delay, they made an effort to resolve the issue quickly and gave us very nice gifts as a goodwill gesture.
We definitely recommend your hotel to anyone who visits Changchun.
夏夏丽The hotel is well located, about 30 min by taxi from Baishan Changbaishan airport, 10 min walk from the West slope departure center as well as many restaurants.
It looks majestic from the outside and inside, although a bit old.
You can enjoy inside and outside hot springs of different kinds and temperatures.
There is a huge buffet with various choices for breakfast (Chinese dishes mainly, two kind of fruits and some Western options).
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The carpet floor was not very clean and the room smelled like cigarette on the first day, although we asked for a non smoking room. After leaving the window open the whole day it was better and the smell did not come back.

MM44301****Facilities: The room didn't come with a comb, shower gel, shampoo, and other toiletries.
Cleanliness: There were still uncleaned fingerprints on the table, and the bathroom wasn't separated into wet and dry areas. The shower floor was very slippery, and there was even packaging left by a previous guest that suddenly washed out from under the anti-slip mat while I was showering. When I was looking for my bracelet in the morning, I also noticed a thick layer of dust under the bed.
Environment: The location is great, making it convenient to go to a nearby town for meals. The resort environment is also fantastic.
Service: The front desk staff (a young man) was very responsive to all requests and even recommended going to the nearby town for more affordable dining options, as eating at the resort is quite expensive.
