"The environment was super comfortable, and it's very close to the Changbaishan Visitor Center—easy enough to walk there in the morning. The front desk even gave me a lovely little gift 🎁 when I checked out, which was a really sweet touch. Changbai Mountain was so kind to me, too; it was only open for two days during the National Day holiday, and I was lucky enough to be there on one of those days to see its breathtaking beauty in person."

"The pool offers a great variety of features, really making you want to jump in. However, some guests were smoking by the poolside, and they should be directed to the designated smoking areas more promptly.
There weren't many hot spring pools, but they were adequate. The water pump in the ”Doctor Fish” pool was too strong, and there were very few fish. After five or six people sat down, it would take more than 3 minutes to see any fish. I suggest adjusting the pump's intensity.
The various hotel-organized activities showed excellent planning, especially the beautiful fireworks display.
Our butler was very professional and helpful when we needed assistance. They genuinely considered the customer's perspective rather than just mechanically processing requests, which deserves high praise!
Perhaps due to the hotel being over ten years old, the facilities in my room showed some aging. I recommend regular, staggered checks of things like the sink drainage, shower water pressure, toilet flush, and electrical outlet looseness. The decor's classic, palatial style was quite appealing to my family, but the facilities shouldn't feel dilapidated. Even minor issues with key facilities can significantly impact the guest experience.
The breakfast buffet was good, but there was only one coffee machine, often leading to queues. The coffee machine's water tank also needed more timely maintenance.
The charging stations are a 20-minute walk from the lobby, and the superchargers incur an occupancy fee of 0.5 per minute after charging is complete. This is very inconvenient for guests with hybrid cars who need to charge. Having to walk over 30 minutes round trip for an hour of charging can easily deter guests from charging. I suggest introducing slow-charging stations.
Finally, the service staff in the hot spring pools and changing rooms had a somewhat rigid attitude, which I hope will be improved."

"Overall the room was very nice, and the location is pretty good if u like the hill mall , and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
However 1. The lifts to the hotel room is bit complicated and there is few stairs u have to climb from reception to ur room level which is hard if u are carrying ur luggage
2. hotel aircon is very weak. We stayed there for few nights , for the first night the room is even hotter than outside which is hard to fall asleep."

Guest UserMy overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

Guest UserThis is a hot spring hotel with both indoor and outdoor pools (I highly recommend the outdoor ones, the air in Changbai Mountain is truly amazing). The room facilities are a bit retro, but the location is excellent, right across from Meiren Song Park (I strongly recommend this park). Taxis to various attractions are almost always just the starting fare. The staff are great, especially the lady at the entrance of the breakfast restaurant. She greeted us with a warm smile every day and even guided us to the guest room elevator, fearing we'd walk a long way. Thumbs up!

This was my first time in Changbaishan, and choosing a hot spring hotel was an incredibly smart decision 😁
The hotel is right by the North Gate (Old Gate), just a 3-minute walk away, which is super convenient. This gate is exclusively for hotel guests, so there are very few people. You need to book your tickets 7 days in advance via WeChat Mini Program. The hotel front desk will issue a paper voucher, and you can enter at your reserved time. The shuttle bus takes you directly to the transfer center. For the return journey, you'll go to the new North Gate, and the hotel provides a shuttle service there too. All in all, it's extremely convenient!
The hotel lobby has direct access to the hot springs, and you can enter as many times as you like during your stay. Soaking in the hot springs after a hike is just incredibly comfortable 😜
The Garden Restaurant on the first floor offers a rich buffet breakfast. For dinner, they have hot pot sets that are great value for money. Coming back from hiking to a warm hot pot is simply delightful!
The hotel's back garden has pets for viewing. The alpacas are plump, and the sika deer are very friendly and super cute!
Our stay included two activity options: off-road vehicle and cable car sightseeing (at Heping Ski Resort) and adventure溪溯 (at Julong Volcanic Pumice Forest Cold Spring). Both were excellent! You need to book one day in advance, and the hotel provides a paper voucher and arranges transportation. The scenery was stunning, we had a fantastic time, and took many amazing photos 🤗
The hotel assigned us a dedicated butler who was responsible for our entire stay. They communicated with us in advance to arrange high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off, and reminded us of various important details. This made our stay effortless and worry-free, and the overall experience was superb!

paopao7621This was our first family trip to Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort, and we chose to stay at Wanda Jin Hua. Throughout our stay, Tu Tu from the executive lounge provided excellent and thoughtful service. She added us on WeChat early on to inform us about our benefits and scenic spot reservation details, which made our entire check-in process incredibly smooth. On the day of arrival, we even received complimentary pastries and fruit. The room was spacious with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering beautiful mountain views (՞ਊ՞)👍. The benefits were great fun, but since our child was too young, he couldn't enjoy many of them. We'll definitely bring him back when he's a bit older.

YdfcoolwindMy flight landed in Changbai Mountain at 11:15 PM, and I had tickets for the West Slope at 7:30 AM the next day.
After much deliberation, I chose the Blue River Hotel, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. It saved me both travel time and distance, and I had a comfortable and safe stay.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable, right at the old West Slope entrance. This saved me the trip from Wanda or the town to the main entrance, and then to the old entrance. From the old entrance, you just take a shuttle bus into the West Slope scenic area, and it drops you right at the base of Tianchi Lake.
The hotel lobby is incredibly spacious, parking is convenient, the rooms are well-equipped, and they even provide complimentary welcome fruit.
Breakfast starts promptly at 7 AM, with a good variety of options. The taste was decent, and I even snuck out two steamed buns to eat on the mountain 😂. I highly recommend the peach juice; the peaches 🍑 from Changbai Mountain are incredibly appealing.
The front desk staff were so polite I almost felt embarrassed 😅. When I checked in, they recognized my name from a distance. The next day, as I left, they reminded me to take my umbrella. And when I returned in the afternoon to collect my luggage after exploring, they gave me more fruit and water, and kept asking if there was anything they could have done better.
In summary, while the facilities might be a bit older, their shortcomings don't overshadow the positives. I highly recommend this hotel 🏨 to anyone following a similar itinerary as mine.

I came all the way from the south. The room was way too old. The hot water wasn't very hot in the morning. Takeout could only be delivered to the front desk. The room was quite large, but very poorly soundproofed; you could hear people talking next door. The hot spring water was okay and quite clean, but someone was scrubbing themselves in it. Overall, it was just so-so. Facilities: Too, too old; the TV was small; you couldn't see the text on the TV from the bed.

Guest UserI was a bit hesitant about booking this hotel after reading so many reviews and Redbook posts, but in the end, I decided to go for it because the hotel environment seemed good, and with a 1.5-year-old baby, we'd spend a lot of time at the hotel. When we first arrived, it was indeed a bit old, as other guests had mentioned, which was a slight disappointment. However, it wasn't as bad as some made it out to be, and of course, it can't compare to five-star hotels from major chain groups.
What truly stood out was the incredibly warm service. Unlike the somewhat cold and formal guidance you sometimes get at other five-star hotels, the staff here were genuinely enthusiastic. They reminded me to schedule the private hot spring, provided hot tea every day, and were available to answer any travel questions via WeChat. The driver they arranged was also exceptionally helpful and enthusiastic – highly recommend!
The breakfast selection was indeed small, but the taste was genuinely excellent. The Cantonese dim sum was even better than what I've had at some restaurants in Guangzhou! Plus, the restaurant is situated right above the river, offering fantastic views. The complimentary dinner was also delicious. Ordering additional items might be a bit pricey, but the food here was definitely the best we'd had during our stay in Erdaobaihe Town. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends next time.

Environment: Quiet and comfortable, very close to Huangsongpu parking lot. No matter what night you buy a ticket, you can go to Tianchi in advance, which is great. In the afternoon, we soaked in Julong Volcano Hot Spring, and in the evening we ate at Yunding Market. The shop also arranged breakfast in the morning. After breakfast, we went straight to see Tianchi. It is very suitable for family or friends to gather and play.
