This B&B is absolutely amazing! The environment is amazing, and you can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into it. There are green plants and flowers everywhere, which is so relaxing. They also provide plenty of snacks in the lobby, which are immediately replenished after eating, which is a really thoughtful touch. The lobby itself is also very comfortable; it would be wonderful to spend an entire afternoon quietly reading. The rooms are incredibly clean. We booked a twin room, which was perfect for bringing children; the space was ample and convenient. The best part was that our room also had a small terrace, which was a real treat to sit out and enjoy the breeze at night. The receptionist was incredibly kind and considerate from check-in to check-out. She even kindly told us that parking fees could be reimbursed. The entire experience made us feel like home.

Qishang Rongshe·Twelve Hours Travel Notes 🍃First encounter·Peace of mind journey For my first solo trip in 2025, I chose Qishang Rongshe. Before departure, the hotel had arranged a three-day itinerary for me. The thoughtful details made me, a Taurus, feel at ease. When I arrived, the sun was shining and the air was fresh, as if I had stepped into another time and space. Butler Qi Chu took me to the trail in the back mountain, picking flowers and plants as materials for rubbings. The breath was full of natural breath, and I bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of the city for a short time and just enjoyed the present. 🏨Architecture·Watching the century-old banyan tree The building of Qishang Rongshe is an old building from 1920, which has been revitalized and renewed. The hotel's logo is a century-old banyan tree, with intertwined roots and symbiotic dependence with the building, which is also the origin of the hotel logo. There are only 9 guest rooms in the entire space, each of which is equipped with a bathtub and a meditation chair, which is very suitable for a person's healing journey. The morning light shines into the room through the wooden window lattices, and the air is filled with the warm scent of wood, which makes people unconsciously slow down their breathing and immerse themselves in it. 🍵 Time·Zen Tea In Qishang Rongshe, time seems to flow very slowly. Practice Baduanjin in the morning, copy scriptures at sunset, and stroll in the mountains when the weather is fine, breathing the smell of the mountains and forests. In addition to the natural experience, the local culture of the hotel is also full of charm. The hotel's refreshments are provided by Jinlan Bakery on Gulangyu Island, which is purchased daily to ensure freshness. Before leaving, I bought a few boxes as souvenirs to bring this ”Zen” back to daily life. [Color R] Taste buds·Surprise of shiso flavor The dual enjoyment of vision and taste is a highlight of Qishang Rongshe. For breakfast, the butler will deliver the meal to the dining table in the hotel corridor. The moment the curtains are opened, a new day officially begins. For dinner, I chose Haihai Restaurant. Every dish is embellished with shiso, and I even tasted the Fujian specialty lunch fish. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but after eating, I felt that this meal, both in terms of taste and experience, was the most unforgettable meal in my three days in Gulangyu. [Rainbow R] Accident·Stunning in Light and Shadow There is a small exhibition space hidden behind the bookstore in the hotel. This exhibition is called ”Fat”. During the day, I was attracted by the material and tension of the exhibits, but when I visited again at night, I was shocked by the unexpected beauty. The light was projected on the wall through the gaps in the works, and one of the shadows was similar to the whiskers of the banyan tree in front of the hotel. The ingenuity of the artist and curator made me resonate more deeply with this space at this moment. Conclusion·The journey is not over The three days in Qishang Rongshe are like a redefinition of time. Here, people and nature, history and the present, interweave a flowing poetry. On the way back, my body and mind were already relaxed. This journey is not only a journey, but also a healing. Looking forward to returning next time to continue the unfinished travel time.

The hotel environment is good, the scenery is great, cars can drive up directly, the super large terrace can see the sea, the boss also upgraded our room type for free, overall it is good. However, there are some small details that need to be improved. The electric curtains in the terrace room are broken and can only be pulled by hand. Some disposable items are not in place. The slippers were sent up by the waiter. We went down to get the disposable bath bag because calling may not be as fast as getting it ourselves. When brushing teeth at night, I found a toothbrush with no bristles but only a handle, but because it was late in the morning, I didn't find the front desk and used the same one with my husband. Overall, the environment is good, and it is also beautiful to take pictures. It is recommended to come when the weather is warm so that you can experience the swimming pool.

Every detail, from the exquisite charm of this century-old Nanyang villa to the perfectly attentive service, was a delightful surprise. 🤎 The exquisite attention to detail in the hardware and furnishings was remarkable: vintage Nanyang-style patterned tiles, rattan furniture, a retro record player, and an old rotary dial phone. Looking up, the ceiling fans, intricately carved ceilings, and chandeliers created a perfectly balanced play of light and shadow. The balcony featured a bathtub with a view, and our room specifically overlooked the hotel's courtyard and the lush green field of Ma John Stadium across the street. A noteworthy detail is that the room was equipped with a sterilizing cabinet for bath towels and robes, as well as a dryer. For someone like me, who's a bit of a clean freak, this was incredibly reassuring! The service was impeccably thoughtful. Our butler, who also doubled as a mini-tour guide, picked us up and drove us to the hotel, sharing many historical stories about the century-old buildings along the way. In the evening, the butler would also deliver a complimentary sweet soup as a goodnight treat. They truly indulge you with Le Labo products here – the full set of toiletries was Le Labo Santal 22. 💗 What was a particularly heartwarming surprise was a 'sleep kit' (lip balm, hand cream, lavender pillow spray) which, paired with the high-quality bedding, ensured a fragrant and peaceful night's sleep. 🛌 No one here 'serves for the sake of serving'; instead, the attentiveness feels perfectly genuine and thoughtful. It's absolutely perfect for an introvert like me! 🤭 The stay experience was utterly relaxing, comfortable, and unhurried~😌 This is exactly the vacation vibe I was looking for!~ I think I'll often recall: ☀️ A summer day in the Nanyang villa on Gulangyu Island, lying on a rattan chair on the balcony, watching the blue sky, white clouds, and green stadium, feeling the breeze and simply drifting off~ 💙💙 I captured so many beautiful blue-hued moments at this Nanyang villa, haha! 🍸 Listening to music under the longan tree in the courtyard, and the gentle buzz from that sweet and sour 'Daydream Reverie' cocktail. 🛁 Taking a leisurely bath in the balcony tub with the blinds drawn, listening to the pleasant live music drifting up from downstairs~ Finally, falling into a deep, beautiful sleep and waking up naturally. 😌 This trip to Gulangyu felt as relaxed and comfortable as visiting an old Nanyang relative's villa. Looking forward to my next visit!~

Entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised to scream 🙀 Outside the big glass window in front of me is the invincible windmill sea view, like a painting, so beautiful! It’s amazing to get up in the morning to watch the sunrise. You don’t have to go to the Dragon King’s head to squeeze people’s heads. It’s too comfortable. After watching it, you can go to bed and make up for it. It’s perfect. Stayed for two nights, the next day I stayed in the homestay to take pictures, sleep late, charge full, reluctant to go out, the homestay has a swimming pool, worthy of praise is clean, the sea and the sky are the same color, beautiful 😻 (I saw the water filter in the morning 👍) What do you want to drink (coffee, milk, Juice) Just ask the front desk lady to do it, the milk is delicious, free 👍👍 Breakfast is set, there are not many varieties, the scenery is enough 😛 If you can add some meals, it will be more perfect! (Fortunately, there is a Lingshang restaurant a few minutes walk from the homestay. The products are very good. The main thing is to live in the sea, blowing the sea breeze, and it is very comfortable.) The location of the homestay is located on the most beautiful roundabout road in Pingtan, very good!

This stay was such a pleasant surprise! It's my first time in Xiamen, and I noticed this area seems to be predominantly guesthouses/B&Bs. The host was incredibly friendly, and his service was excellent! He even gave us a complimentary room upgrade – huge thumbs up! The views are also beautiful. The beach is right across the street, so incredibly close! I highly recommend this place.

This hotel, recommended by a friend, is truly fantastic! Driving along Zhongshan Road, it definitely stood out as the most stylish and inviting option. The rooms themselves are quite nice, and the bathroom, in particular, is absolutely stunning! Service was also excellent, with complimentary afternoon tea and evening amenities provided. Just a couple of minor points: the hot water in the room took a little while to come through, and there were some small cracks on the walls. However, these minor issues were easily overshadowed by what was an otherwise excellent stay!

This homestay is really close to the sea! The beach is only a few minutes’ walk away, where you can play in the sand! ! The beef noodles at the B&B are also super delicious and fragrant! ! Come and try it hahaha 🔔Service: The front desk lady will come out to help with the luggage and take us to the room. She is very responsive at other times. 🔔 Hygiene: The room is clean and tidy, looks very comfortable, the public area is simple and clear, very clean 🔔 Facilities: There is a pick-up service, which is very good. If you want to go to the beach, you can borrow tools to go to the beach. Breakfast, afternoon tea and supper are provided, and the room has floor heating! The location of the B&B is very good. It is within the reach of the small white car but not in the ancient city. There is a parking lot next to it, which is more convenient for people who need to drag suitcases and park than living in the ancient city. The decoration inside the B&B is very good and clean, and the room is super large! The only flaw in the room is the sliding door of the toilet in the twin room we stayed in. There is still a small gap of about 2cm when it is pulled all the way. In fact, the inside and outside of the toilet can see each other a little bit. The sliding rail of the door should be longer, but I am very familiar with my friends in the same group, so it doesn’t matter 😂; The breakfast is delicious, and the service of all the staff during the four days and three nights we stayed is very, very good! Polite and considerate, I praise it a lot, and I am really satisfied with it overall, thank you!

A very good hotel. After the college entrance examination, I went out with friends. Xiamen was our first stop! Staying in such a satisfactory hotel made our trip more enjoyable! The decoration is very grand and the style that everyone likes is mainly because there are floor-to-ceiling windows in the room. This is the most satisfactory. You can sit by the window and enjoy the sea view and Xiamen city view!
