During my recent stay, I was disappointed to find no breakfast buffet, but instead plated, the lobby no air-conditioning open, , the common restrooms were not lit and no bidets in the bathroom. Despite checking in late at night and requesting a brief extension, this was not accommodated, forcing me to check out before 9 AM. Additionally, I was required to provide a deposit of P 1500 even though I had fully paid in advance. This experience was far from satisfactory. 😢
Monaliza Surf Resort offers the best location having located by the beach, literally. I stayed in Room 3, accomodation for 6 with my family. The room has a balcony which leads to, yes, the beach and the party!
Room is nothing too fancy but leaves enough room for all of us, with 2 bunk beds and a sofa/beds.
Decided to try Chalaroste despite the comments wherein the bathroom stinks, daming langaw, sira lock ng door, etc. and it was not a regret that we booked this resort because it was amaaaazing! we availed the standard room.
It has tv, mini ref, toiletries (towels, tissues, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), water heater since may coffee and creamer provided, bottled water. lahat yan is good for 2 na. mabango rin ung cr sa loob ng room, no issues at all. May wifi rin!
Complete na rin sa common kitchen, no worries na mag aagawan since they provided lots of plates kalderos and the like, lulutuin na lang dalhin.
Mabato ung beach but the infinity pool did not disappoint! Ang ganda lalo na sa gabi. May signage na u can use the pool until 9 or 10 pm yata but the staff let us swim there until 1 am. There are tables near the pool which overlooks the beach na maganda mag chill! Pet friendly also ❤️
Overall, I loved the place! It felt like the price was too cheap for such a resort that has a complete amenities. Literal na sarili mo na lang at pagkain dalhin mo.
The place is very nice if you want to have peace and quiet or maybe its the time when i was around.
The front beach is not ideal for a swim due to sharp rocky edges.. you will go to the lagoon which is a bit far from the place but still manageable. All in all i had a great experience
The service and staff at this establishment go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed and well-cared-for. Their accommodating nature truly stands out, making the experience pleasant and stress-free. The food they serve is not only delicious but also prepared with great consideration for individual needs. For instance, they showed remarkable thoughtfulness and support by catering specifically to my child with autism, preparing the only food he feels comfortable eating. This gesture exemplifies their dedication to providing a personalized and compassionate service.
While the facility itself is fairly standard and does not boast luxurious amenities, it is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality that make the stay memorable. The warmth and attentiveness of the staff, coupled with their willingness to go the extra mile, create a truly comforting and inclusive environment. It’s this level of care and commitment that sets them apart and leaves a lasting positive impression.
What a beautiful resort. The location is perfect - secluded from the noise of the world. My partner called the place heaven on earth. Very nice beachfront! Was able to capture great photos too! Awesome experience over-all. We will definitely return.
Charming new hotel in Vigan. This hotel was just recently built. Very friendly staff, very helpful. A pleasant stay with true Filipino hospitality. The owners are very accommodating. Take it from me, who have travelled extensively. You will definitely enjoy your stay here.
We arrived at noon but needed to leave because it was not 2 pm. The lady did checked us in in advance, i paid Php1000 deposit before we left, we were told to just come back and they will let us in.
We came back just before 2pm. 3 of us needed to go to the city while 3 others stayed. When I arrived with my hubby and brother, we were surprised that my brother's wife and family stayed in the lobby waiting for us, said that they were not offered to go to the room since i was not there. Meanwhile, when we arrived this morning, the staffs are aware that were were all together as they were taking pictures of us in the lobby, they have this special mini stage that turns while taking 360 degrees selfie.
I was disappointed that our family was left in the lobby waiting instead of assisting them to our room.
Room is reasonably clean.
it's really close to the sea and they have swimming pools. The flooring upstairs is wood, so you can really hear someone running outside. (when we stayed there was a family in the other room with children running around so it was quite fun***). but overall good for its price and good location.
This hotel is very close to the Hundred Islands National Park and provides parking spaces. If you stay here for one night, it only takes 3 minutes to reach the entrance of the Hundred Islands National Park the next morning.

GGuest UserGood -Met owners of BnB, Ice cream, bar and dining available on site (Italian / local food), good breakfast included. Air-conditioned room, phone and satellite tv (requires load by site). On site generator to support power blackouts. Nice garden like feel, gated and fenced. On site parking (minimal). Christmas lights set up for the season. New three-story expansion currently being built (but no impact to stay). Stocked in room mini bar. Shower water flow good. Nice on site pool (3-4 ft deep). Nice ocean views, Koi pond and sitting areas. Dogs and cats (3 ea) live on site.
Bad -Food order ~3 hr in advance, prices are a bit higher than normal, breakfast night before. Some items on menu not available. Room is very small mostly bed and small area to walk around. Bathroom local size challenge for larger people (toilet to wall space). Plumbing not support flushing of TP, place in holding bin. Shower heater wall switch should be labeled. Switch is in same stack of switches as bath lights. Refrigerator and mini bar stocked. (bug spray recommended for foreigners as mosquitoes can get in the room). Located on main roadway. A short drive to other things in the area. No beach (small gravel area), surf can be strong at back of property. Kayaks appeared usable but life jackets were questionable (suggest replacing) unless experienced seemed more like yard art. Amenity kit provided (bar soap was crumbled and could not be used, shampoo was barely enough for one shower (suggest abandon and provide home made or none at all).
Ugly -Local purified drinking water provided in plastic pitcher (not enough for two people per/day and no way to know where from), can ask for more but not convenient. Spouse incurred sickness from bad (other) water during stay.
GGuest UserLocation 180 is just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. It is very minimalistic and has a nice cozy garden which allows for nice quiet mornings. It's a basic room with a private toilet and bath and it is kept very clean. Our host, Jeff, was very accommodating and friendly and was very easy to deal with. I'd say its good value for money.
Mmarie mayaThe room we stayed air was not really working. Ants in the bathroom and the property is a resort for swimming for public. The room is clean but tiny ants in the bathroom. Comfortable bed and the free breakfast very basic a cup of rice, one egg and choice of meat or fish. Its by the highway easy to find. Workers are friendly.
GGuest UserFor me, They need to update their location in Google Maps, because when we are going to our accommodation we are lost, due to wrong pin of the location. Over all its good.
CClariza GarciaThe place is very quiet, beautiful and clean, you should go here in the morning to make the most of the time, the road is also scary at night especially if riders like us are in the dark hehehe. We stayed at Narra, it was nice but the bathroom door was broken and the one in his CR was small. The owner was also kind, we asked them to wait for us because we arrived at 10:30 pm, their staff was very accommodating. The hike to the beach was tiring hehehe but all in all a good experience
