Pet friendly Hotels in Campania, Italy

The location is great, right next to Napoli Centrale, the ferries and most points of interest are an easy walk away, the service is perfect, an older type of hotel, which is the best option in Italy in my opinion. Would stay again without a doubt.

I loved my stay here. Their biggest strength is by far their staff. I have read here that some people found them rude and obnoxious. That was NOT my experience at all. For me, they were helpful, kind and a good laugh. For a woman travelling on her own, that is honestly such as blessing. The social spaces were lovely, vibrant and welcoming. There were always people there, but until midnight or so, never over crowded or felt like your were suffocating. Past that point, it was party time! They also had a roof terrace, which was a nice touch. I loved the key app, which gave you access to the entire building and room via your phone. It was super efficient and safe. You also didn’t need to worry about carrying around a key with you (or losing it!) The place was always clean - and I had no complaints about the showers. Never had to queue. Granted there was no hot water on 2/3 days but it was 35 degrees outside so didn’t mind too much. One thing that I would change is the beds. They were too small (I, at 5ft 7in/172cm was too tall) and they would creek and shake throughout the night. Overall though, would go back.

Good clean hotel. For breakfast coffee, cruisans, yoghurt, milk chips, jimmy in packaging. The location of the hotel is a little confusing, because under the balcony from the morning the market, *******, around the wash, but waiting for the train station in 7-10 minutes walk, we were comfortable, to we used to wait for transportation. At night it is better not to walk alone. This is a substantial minus, and the hotel itself is good enough. Accommodated earlier, baggage can be left without problems. There is a good supermarket near the station waiting.

If I could give this place a negative star rating I would. Do NOT stay at this place. It is a scam. We booked through lastminute.com looking forward to a short city break to naples/pompeii and it turned out to be the worst 3 nights of my life. Our check-in information mentioned we could get our room at 11am so, as we had an early morniny flight, got to the hotel just after 11 expecting our room to be ready. We were told to give them an hour. We returned just after 12 and were told it was still not ready and were guided upstairs after a further 45 minutes of waiting the room was finally ready and we were relieved! BUT this is where the hell started. We were taken outside of the hotel casablanca reception area to a separate “hotel” a 5 minute walk away called hotel siri. The area was a building site and the room looked like a bedsit. I kid you not, at this place I believe I could have contracted hepatitis. Understandably we complained informing the hotel this is not what we had booked and were taken back to the reception to speak to the “director”. When we got to the reception area we were met with 2 hostile people refusing to speak in English to us informing that they now could not speak English when they were conversing with us only a short while earlier. They then moved us into a room in the main Hotel Casablanca. However, we did not feel safe staying in this hotel and had to spend valuable time during our holiday finding a new accommodation that we could relax in. We are still awaiting information from lastminute.com and the so-called hotel on a a refund. Which after the shambolic service/attitude, dishonesty, lies and deceit we encountered during our first few moments in naples, we believe is entitled. I emplore you - DO NOT book this hotel. You will get scammed just like we did. Lastminute.com YOU must do something to stop this from happening. I expect to be hearing from you again to correct this. What was meant to be a relaxing, fun break turned out to be 3 nights in HELL.

Right next to almost all car rental company offices and parking lots, there is a car rental company's public shuttle bus directly to the car rental company's offices and hotels at Sixt's parking lot on the right front of the airport exit. If walking for about ten minutes. Suitable for people who are in transit or need to spend the night at the airport. Hotel facilities can only be said to pass, there is no advantage

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this quirky hotel close to the station in Napoli- it is a family run hotel and they were very welcoming and friendly However the first impression is rather daunting and the two flights of stairs with luggage a challenge- unfortunately we did not feel safe in the area and were glad to return to our room - the aircon made a continuous knocking noise - the bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were like sacks of potatoes- guess you get what you pay for these days - once again the family were very pleasant

To begin with, the person at the reception was a RUDE, aggressive woman. Her attitude was that she was doing us a favour by letting us stay in the hotel. She mans the breakfast counter too..Be prepared to encounter her BAD attitude there too. Breakfast is just some breads, cereals and beverages. No fruit or eggs or cold cuts. Linen is reasonably clean and towels are changed everyday. It could be a good hotel if the management was positive and welcoming of tourists. Would not recommend at all.

The B&B was in a great location very close to the train station and luggage storage lockers. The room was lovely with a usable balcony at both windows. It was a reasonable sized room with an en suite. The breakfast was a basic continental with bread, croissants, jams and coffee but it was plenty to keep you going. The check in process after 8pm was a bit tricky, the phone number on the gate downstairs is an unavailable number. Thankfully a nice man let us through the gate but we had to walk up each level until we found the right door withing the apartment block. The number on that was correct and someone came to check us in within 10 mins. It was a nice, quiet room with a fridge as well. Very close to the centre for meeting points for activities such as to Pompei/Vesuvius etc. I would stay here again in future, again you get what you pay for, it is budget accomodation.

The hotel staff was super friendly. The evening shuttle worked very good but the driver is very punctual so don’t be even a minute late. Breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. As for location, you get what you paid for plus a shuttle in the late afternoon every hour and free breakfast . Awesome deal for Naples. I highly recommend this place.

Poor communication from the start as the property was very hard to find. It is on the fifth floor of a very large apartment building and with just a very small sign on the door, which was locked and we had to figure out how to call up to the desk using the intercom for them to let us in. It would have been appreciated if they had shared those details with us prior to check-in to save us the time and anxiety of trying to find the place. Once we got in, the place was very old and run down. Did not feel welcoming at all. The room was the same and there was a terrible sulfur smell coming from somewhere in the bathroom. We then tried to take a shower and the water was at first scalding hot not matter where you turned the handle for the first few minutes, and then it was freezing cold for the rest of the time. Really not a great experience at all. We are not people who need a luxury hotel by any means, we simply look for a comfortable place to sleep and take a shower. This didn't provide either of those things for us. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is that the man at the desk was helpful enough to call for a taxi for us in the morning and it was a decent location as we were coming from the ferry port that night and heading to the airport in the morning.

Very beautiful hotel! There is an orchard where you can have breakfast and enjoy it when the weather is good. The meal is delicious and lunch and dinner are provided. The service is very good! Very enthusiastic. If you are lucky, you can see the hotel cat Joseph

May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. Amazing hospitality and warmth all around, including a wonderful visit with kind lady who served breakfast. Thanks! MD & Judy Dell’Osso Crockett, Texas USA

We had a wonderful time at Antonella’s Zefiro B&B The location is ideal and it is a close walk to the Pompeii site, the train station and several outstanding restaurants are close by. The B&B is really nice (and so is Antonella) and most comfortable and convient. Breakfast was awesome! We also wanted to go to visit the Amalfi Coast and to see Amalfi and Positano. Fortunately for us, Antonella suggested we take the train and the boat to see the coast rather than driving and dealing with parking. She was a great help and this was a Spectacular idea and as we mentioned, the train station is close by. Thank you Antonella for a wonderful time in Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast. We recommended B&B most Highly!!!!!!

Well renovated hotel in an old building. Modern amenities. Clean and quiet (asked for room not facing Via Roma). Desk hours not available 24-7. But young lady staffed at desk was very helpful with guidance and suggestions of Pompeii & places to eat. She spoke English very well. Hotel is about 3-5 minute walk to Amphitheater’s entrance of the Archeological Park & 15 minute walk to Porto Maria’s entrance (main entrance). If leaving windows open, watch out for small bugs that bites. (Windows do not have screens). Shower drains runs slow. We stayed 2 nights. Overall a wonderful place to stay while visiting Pompeii!

if you enjoy rude customer service and horrible wifi, the Hotel Palma in Pompeii is the hotel for you. After a peasant visit five years ago, we returned this week with a group of 32 for an overnight stay. To start, they didn't honor the rooming list we sent when we booked with them. At the last minute the put some of our party in undersized rooms forcing unrelated members of our group to share a bed. The front desk also failed to have our rooms assigned when we arrived, which is normal for large groups. I didn't see a single smile from a staff member the entire time we were there. And each member was greeting by the morning desk clerk when dropping off keys with an abrupt ”did you take anything from the mini bar during your stay?” Forget a simple good morning or thank you. One member had a water and bag of chips and was charged 8 Euros. What a rip off. Others complained that there was no shower curtain which caused the bathroom floor to flood with water. They had to use their towels to mop up the floor. Breakfast was a shadow of what it was during our last visit. The juice tasted rancid and the only choice of yogurt when I arrived was banana. The main problem was their weak and spotty wifi. It's 2024. You can't call yourself a high-end hotel without offering reliable wifi. I was in room 211. There was no wifi reception. I tried several times on my phone and laptop. The other hotels in Milan and Rome we visited had great wifi - not at Palma. When I went downstairs to let the overnight front desk clerk know, he refused to believe me and sent me back to try again, which I did. No reception in 211, but it picked up as you walked down the hallway to the elevator. Again he refused to believe me and aggressively debated me and refused to come upstairs to check. When I asked if I could use the desk in the front lobby to do the three hours of work I needed to take care of, he said no; that he had to clean the lobby - same reason he gave when he kicked four of us out of the lobby at 12:30am. No cleaning was done by morning. I sat at a small table by the bar to complete my work. Even there the wifi went out a couple of times. Other members in the group complained that their rooms were deadspots also. We will not return to the Palma. Rude staff, bad wifi, and a weak breakfast make it unattractive for the price.

location of the hotel is good, only a few minutes from the flix bus station, and a few more minutes to the train station. about 15 minutes walk to the Pompeii entrance. (side remark about the pompeii archeological park, when you walk towards the entrance, there will be a lot of people telling you all the things to lure you to join their tour or get a skip the line tickets and audio and etc. don't believe in what they say. just reserve your ticket from the website or get it at the entrance.) the hotel staff are very friendly, gave us a map and told us the relevant info of the pompei town, where to eat, where is the stations, and etc. breakfast is also good. the room is a bit old and the bathroom is really small. maybe there are some better rooms but the one we booked was small.

Carmela, the owner, is an example of kindness and hospitality. We returned (two adults and two children) for the second time in your BeB and we again appreciated the perfect cleaning, availability and care of the guest. We booked both rooms available and, This time we felt like at home. Carmela cares carefully the comfort of the apartments. Also offers a varied and complete breakfast. A safety for a stay in maximum comfort and cleaning.

The pictures on the website are very accurate but having said that there are lot of pictures that have not been taken. As you go through to the upstairs landing where the bedrooms are you are greeted by a building site. The walls are not plastered and there is rubbish and debris strewn about. The stairs are concrete and there is no lift. If we had been told that the hotel was still a work in progress then we would have been prepared! Its more about the question to detail. There is only one small rubbish bin, this is in the bathroom. There are no shelves in the shower for shampoo etc so we had to put everything on the floor. There is no double glazing, so very noisy at night. The breakfast consisted of one cup of coffee and a croissant. We ate in the fish restaurant once. We all had the same except for one person who had the octopus balls in cheese sauce as a starter. They were quite unwell the following morning. Two sachets of green tea per room. No staff on hand to speak of. A very disappointing experience on the whole. No safe for valuables or passports so we carried everything with us.
