All good. Service level excellent. Perhaps just need to have more amenities like vanity kit, essential items like bathroom slippers in the room rather than we request for it at the front desk. Otherwise all good.
We were really happy with our stay at this hotel.
The room size and the beds comfortable. The location was quiet and was perfect for us to walk around the main areas. Location was also great for the buses.
Breakfast was fantastic.
Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was the most satisfying I stayed at in Iceland. The overall cleanliness was up to standard, and it even had a bathtub. The staff were enthusiastic, and the breakfast was rich and varied. The biggest advantage is that Bus Stop 12 is right outside the door. If you're in Iceland and not doing a multi-day tour, but rather booking different day tours daily, Bus Stop 12 is a station all buses can reach, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommended.
The studio it self has a great potential but it needs a deep cleaning. The studio still had the garbage from the previous guests inside and was full of dust. Also the outside is not very welcoming (it's OK to be in the back of the house but it is not OK to have construction leftovers just outside the door/window). Apart from that the bed was comfy, you have a mini fridge and good wifi connection. You can walk from here to the city center. Parking space just outside the building for free.
The waiter can't have an extra bed after work, give us a bigger room, the surrounding is quite convenient, the hotel restaurant is OK, but prefer other restaurants around, the room is very clean and new, suitable for parents. The room is large and the hotel design is very beautiful, Nordic style. very quiet. There is an Icelandic Immigration History Museum downstairs, don't miss it.
The hotel has a good location with parking, and it's convenient to walk to the church at night. The breakfast is average. However, the front desk requires a credit card for check-in, which is a bit hard to accept. Also, the bathroom is cramped, making it difficult to unfold a suitcase, and water overflows when showering. It feels rather basic. Accommodation conditions in Iceland are indeed generally average.
In short, I am very satisfied.
1. Geographical location. 15 minutes walk from the church, 30 minutes walk from the Leishi City Airport Bus Transfer Station, 3 minutes walk from the airport bus and local group bus transfer stop Bus Stop 13-Raarárstigur (not at the hotel entrance!)
2. Hotel service. 24-hour front desk, you need to press the doorbell on the left side of the door at night. Cleaning up the room needs to go to the front desk the night before. The front desk sister looked cold and was actually very enthusiastic, and took the initiative to send me a postcard.
3, diet. Breakfast was not ordered but basically bread scrambled eggs chickpeas. I ate ten days in Norway and didn't want to eat... If you want to eat Chinese food, go out and turn right and walk two steps. There is a Chinese restaurant called ”Rice”. The service attitude is average but the meal is fast and tastes good.
4, room. The area is large and spacious. There is also a refrigerator to store souvenirs that need to be refrigerated. Hot water including bath water has a sulfur smell. After all, the volcanic landform country is very normal. It takes more than 30 seconds to drink cold water directly.
There are two apartments, confusing location, have to wait for the password to open the door, the room has complete tableware, the bathroom is relatively small, come to stay for one night overall
Perfect location for a quick stop in Reykjavik. It’s not the cleanest of places (kitchen sink and stove was a bit dirty, but hey… what do you expect? It’s very clean compared to other hostels/hotels with shared kitchens like this!) but still worth every penny. I’d go there again any time. They do have a cozy library. All in all I really do like the vibe of the place 🫶🏻
