When we set out in the morning, we learned that we were going to Xining. The front desk guy recommended that we visit the Atomic City Memorial Hall first. I passed by Maqin just to have a rest at night. I didn’t expect that there would be such a good hotel here, and it can also bring dogs. The room is spacious and tidy, and the hygiene is very clean. I went to the Yadan on the water and chose this hotel which is the closest to the scenic spot. It is quite unique. Many tourists passing by will also come in to check in. The hotel is surrounded by the Yadan next door. It feels very wild. There is a cliff on the side. You can climb up and overlook the whole hotel. The hotel is quite large. In fact, the six-pointed star where I live is only a part. There are two or three more areas not far away. When I went there on May Day, there were not many people staying. There were not many cars parked. There were only two or three tables of people for dinner in the restaurant. The dishes were expensive, but they were also reasonable. After all, there were Gobi deserts all around, and no villages or human traces could be seen for dozens of kilometers. It is a miracle that there is an accommodation hotel in this place. Don't despise the expensive restaurant. It is really a good place to enjoy the quietness. In the room, the bed is very large and comfortable. Fruits were given, which I like very much. The only flaw is taking a bath. There is no shower room, only a bathtub. You must sit in the bathtub to take a bath. You can't stand up and get wet in the rain, otherwise the water will be scattered everywhere.

Shangde Nyima is an excellent hotel! Every staff is so kind, genuine and helpful! The rooms are warm, clean and so comfortable for people like us not suited for the harsh climate. Mr Chodak the manager is a wonderful man and the front desk staff have a lot of initiative and always tried their best to help us. Most of all, we love the kitchen crew - Tsering, Sonam, Tashi and young Sonam… they prepared delicious food (what we had was ‘zimbuduk’) for us. Tujiche, Shangde Nyima! We will miss you but we will return to see all of you again!❤️

Second stay. Thank you to the front desk manager sister for her very good attitude. There is an independent parking lot, suitable for self-driving tours. There is an oxygen machine in the room. For Yushu, a high-altitude area, it is very good to have oxygen to relieve high reflexes.

The room is well-equipped and warm, and the sanitary conditions are also very good, especially the breakfast in the western restaurant on the first floor, which has many varieties and choices. The children enjoyed the meal very much. The service of the lady at the front desk was particularly warm and polite during check-in and check-out.

After visiting the Yadan on the water, I found it difficult to find accommodation nearby. I searched for the Lonely Star Desert Hotel on Ctrip and wanted to stay there for one night. We navigated to its reception, where the receptionist was very welcoming and upgraded our room so that we no longer had to share bathroom facilities. They also gave us some fruits. Although the cabin is small, it has everything you need. The bedding is of good quality, soft and comfortable. There is floor heating and a humidifier. The bathroom is clean and you can take a hot shower. We live in Zone G, and the driveway is a bit narrow, making it a little inconvenient to get in and out. The surrounding area is open, which is great for taking photos of the sunset, starry sky and sunrise.

The accommodation experience this time was very good. First, the location is great. It is right inside the scenic spot. It is very quiet. The tickets provided allow you to freely enter and exit the scenic spot for two days. Second, the sanitary conditions are excellent. The quilts are fluffy and comfortable, and the facilities are good. You can turn on the air conditioner when it gets cold at the end of July. Third, there was a female staff member at the front desk who had a very nice attitude. She took the initiative to help us upgrade the room and patiently explained it. She deserves praise!

Highly recommended to stay here if you come to Chaka Salt Lake. The Boss is very friendly and kind. He fetched us from the bus stop which is not too far, about 10 minutes walk from the bus stop on the main road. The hotel is nicely decorated and clean. The staff are also helpful.

Nice room with view from neighborhood. It's 30min walk from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. I was the only guest during the 4 nights I was there, so not much of an atmosphere despite the nice social areas. The heating system (underfloor) works only in the night so it's a bit chill during the day. There are hot showers and possibly of doing laundry (10yuan a load).
