Because it is a bungalow, the room will occasionally find small bugs and the like, but this is normal, the bungalow will definitely have these, especially care to pay attention, but we don't care about this. Other sanitary environments are very good I forgot to take the photo in the room, but it is the same as the picture introduction. Should you say or not, some suggestions, purely personal suggestions: 1. In such an antique yard, there should be a few lounge chairs. Imagine how comfortable it is to lie down in the yard and drink tea in summer; 2. The socket in the room is indeed a bit small, just two bedsides and bathrooms have a total of 3 5-hole plugs (and the side of the bedside is still occupied by the stereo), now it is mobile phones, cameras, charging treasures, drones...especially inconvenient; 3. The lenses in the projector are a bit dirty and the picture is a bit blurry.

The Dunhuang Hotel lives up to its reputation! It's located right next to the Shazhou Night Market and offers a wealth of dining options. The hotel's facilities are first-class, elegant, and beautifully appointed. I originally booked a king-size bed room without a window, but the hotel proactively upgraded me to one with a window, which was very thoughtful. The room was comfortable and cozy, and the front desk and housekeeping were attentive and helpful. I stayed four nights, and while the room was quite expensive, it was a great value! The only downside was the breakfast. While the breakfast setting was pleasant, the service was friendly, and the food looked plentiful, it was almost identical every day and not particularly tasty. The hot dishes tasted like leftovers. The cantaloupe wasn't sweet at all, and there were several canned fruits on display. It's harvest season, so why not have more fresh fruit?

The overall experience here was even better than some five-star hotels. First, the 1.3-meter-wide twin beds and complimentary breakfast for children under 1.4 meters are incredibly family-friendly. It ensures everyone eats well and sleeps comfortably, with plenty of room even when co-sleeping with a child. Second, the entire room boasts smart home features, including automated curtains and toilets. What's also impressive is the bathroom design: it not only has wet and dry areas but also separate cubicles for the toilet and shower, allowing simultaneous use without any disturbance. Third, the toiletries are excellent. The selection of shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion is of very high quality. Given the dry climate of Dunhuang, the daily provision of body lotion is an especially thoughtful touch. Fourth, the service is outstanding. They proactively contact guests a day in advance to confirm airport or train station pick-up arrangements, and any requests are promptly and efficiently addressed. Moreover, the front desk staff always greeted us warmly whenever we left or returned, which was a very nice personal touch.

Let me summarize first. It was a very good experience to travel to the Northwest! It has folk characteristics, and the bed is a big kang in the northwest. You can order food and eat it on the bed in the room. The facilities are also complete. Although it is not in the city, it is only about ten minutes away from the city by taxi, and it is convenient to call a taxi (the boss will also help you call a taxi) What's more! Their hand-pulled lamb is especially delicious! When it was served, the white meat looked unappetizing, but it was absolutely delicious once you tasted it! The meat is just the right amount of soft and hard, and the taste is just the right amount of salty and fragrant! What's more important! The boss is really nice. I had to catch an early morning train the next day, and he arranged a room for me to wash up despite the extremely busy schedule. The service attitude of the other young girls was also very good, friendly and thoughtful. ps. When traveling alone, I always have to lock the hotel room door several times to feel uneasy, but the door of their room is that old-fashioned wooden bolt, which is very sturdy. If you don’t open it from the inside, you may have to take the door apart before you can open it. It gives you a full sense of security!

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is very nice, clean, and centrally located. The staff was very friendly and helped us with all our requests. Checked in on New Year's Eve. Two wind towels were given as a gift when I checked in. I took a photo of it specially because it was my favorite color, hehe. Cleanliness: The room was surprisingly clean. No weird smell. Facilities: Free toiletries are provided. The bathroom is spacious. The eco-friendly slippers are comfortable, but you can’t take them away. Environment: Entering the hall, it is cozy, warm and the heating is very good. Service: The beauties in the lobby are enthusiastic and warm. To emphasize, heating is very good in winter. The bedding was clean and tidy. We stayed for two days and went out to the scenic spot on the second day. They cleaned and tidied the room without any request. It is convenient to eat. There is an authentic beef noodle restaurant opposite the hotel, a convenience store next door, and a large supermarket around the corner, which is open on New Year's Eve. A perfect trip to Dunhuang! Dunhuang of the world, where my heart longs for!

The hotel is well located in city center and provides complimentary pick up/drop off service from train station. There is a direct bus which goes to mogao caves right in front the hotel- making self transport a breeze. Room is spacious and nicely designed with a large bath tub. Apart from the hotel hardware, what really stood out was the extra mile services offered by the staff. There are 2 staff who really shine. Firstly, Ms tong tong （彤彤）was very patient in explaining all the touristy sites around and how to get there. She helped us book performance tickets so we could enjoy some discounts. When we enquired about transfer to liu yuan, she not only checked for all the information online for us but also personally went to the bus station to find a driver who goes to liuyuan. We're so impressed with her extra mile service!! Really kudos to her great personality and service. Next staff to mention is Mr li (李师傅）who picked us up at the train station. He suggested some dining places to us and offered to drop us off at mogao caves when we bumped into him at the hotel lobby. Overall, highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

The hotel's location is incredible, right in the heart of the city, offering convenient transportation, whether it's to scenic spots or the shopping district, with taxis or buses easily accessible. There are also several local restaurants hidden nearby, so when you're tired of shopping, you can just walk downstairs to enjoy authentic local cuisine. It's a one-stop shop for dining, drinking, and entertainment, saving you the hassle of traveling far. The service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk staff was warm and professional. They handled check-in quickly, offered hot tea, and provided maps with recommendations for nearby attractions. At night, I requested two extra towels, but I just called the housekeeper, who delivered them to my door in less than five minutes. Their gentle tone was incredibly warm, and every detail was filled with warmth. The room was even more amazing: spacious and bright, with a warm and stylish decor. The bedding was soft, and the mattress was just the right firmness. A day's fatigue melted away, and I slept soundly for two nights. Cleanliness was impeccable; the countertops and bathroom tiles were spotless. The bathroom even had a smart toilet and high-end toiletries, making it incredibly reassuring. The breakfast was incredibly varied, with a full table of Chinese and Western dishes. The Chinese congee and steamed buns were authentic and heartwarming, while the Western bread and coffee were fresh and delicious, and the freshly squeezed juices were refreshing and refreshing.
