Can the mattress of Hilton Garden Inn be improved? The edge of the bed is always exposed, and the edge of the bed is a bit sharp. The child bumped into it once because of this reason. The service staff in the restaurant is very good. There is a lady with glasses who closes the table in time. The restaurant manager is also very good and has a very kind smile. The restaurant is also very delicious. The beef noodles in the northwest are really delicious! Very chewy, I like it! There is a small noodle shop opposite the hotel (not the first Xu noodle shop, but a smaller noodle shop). There is a big plate of beef tripe noodles. I was shocked when it was served. Hahahaha, I have never seen noodles served in such a big plate. The uncle is also very nice. He also made a small bowl of non-spicy noodles for the child for free. I think the people in the northwest are so warm and simple!

I booked a bed in the female dormitory for 2 nights, my friends booked other beds/rooms. The hostel has all the necessary amenities. There is even a washing machine if you need to do laundry. The bedding was fresh and clean. Plenty of sockets for charging devices. You will need to bring your own shower gel for the shower and the toilets are squat toilets which is standard in China. Met a lovely German girl while staying here. The host is a lovely and very helpful woman, she assisted us with any queries and even gave us some watermelon while we waited for our driver. If you want to visit any of the popular tourist spots in the Zhangye area she can organise a car tour for you and very reasonable prices- all very easy through WeChat. I visited the rainbow mountains/Zhangye National Geopark/Zhangye Danxia Geopark (张掖国家地质公园) and Mati Si temple (马蹄寺) while in Zhangye. The hostel is in a very good location too. The common area is nice and there is a tea station where you can help yourself to a cup of tea. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Backpacker hotel with very friendly service, a library of left-behind books and a good restaurant/cafe. Location is great - close to Labrang monastery and local restaurants and shops.

I am already an old customer. I will choose to stay in this hotel every time I come. Different from the traditional hotel style in the city, the room is very design-oriented. The boss also explained the design of the hotel very seriously. I felt the style of rammed earth in the city, coupled with the carefully designed lighting, a kind of quietness and tranquility in the noisy city, very comfortable. In terms of details, it is very clean and tidy. It is hard to imagine a hotel that has been in business for four years. It is very new. The bed in the hotel is very comfortable to sleep on, and the hot water is also sufficient. I especially like the atmosphere of the lights at night. The hotel also has a book bar. I enjoy the afternoon tea and reading books. The whole city of Jiayuguan is not big, and it is very convenient to go out.

The overall homestay completely exceeded our expectations: highly recommended 🌟 Very very clean, the design is particularly warm, the rooms with balconies are equipped with a full set of equipment for tea in the stove. You can make your own tea on the balcony. The balcony is opposite the highest point of the Quanzhagana B&B. The fairy beach and the mountains are all in the morning. 7:30 (we came in May) You can watch the sunrise directly from the balcony 🌅 The equipment in the room is very complete. We came in May. The weather was slightly cool. There was a vertical air conditioner in the room. It was warm in five minutes. The bed, bathroom, shower room were very clean. The disposable toilet pad and towels were all prepared. More thoughtful than we thought. The restaurant is on the top floor. You don’t have to worry about eating problems. Three meals a day can be solved in the restaurant. The meal has Chinese food. It can be said to be very delicious. It is the most delicious meal in Gannan. As soon as I entered the door, the boss sister cooked the barley milk tea. The three cups were also cut. The watermelon and melon were very clean. The boss brother and sister were very clean. Even their own puppy was very clean. The rooftop was very clean. The view was very good.

The service was excellent, and the waiter was very proactive in giving compliments. The room was new, but not renovated, which was quite nice. The parking lot behind the hotel was very convenient. Remember to park in front of the hotel, then enter your license plate and you can enter and exit as you please. The room has a washing machine, and Dunhuang's weather is dry, so clothes dried in just a few hours. The wontons for breakfast were also good.

Location is a short 10 minute drive or 30-40 minute walk from the town center and the sand dunes. The B&B is very beautiful with cool art, plants, and animals. The rooms are spacious and clean and the staff were prompt in replying to questions we had. The only downside for us was that there were no real towels available, only disposable one time use ones which were not effective in drying. The skylight also did not work which we were not made aware of before booking.

We stayed 2 nights at the guesthouse. The family who owns it cares about you and your comfort all the time, a thing that we haven’t experienced at any other place in this country. We stayed at the tent: it is spacious and much better than expected, super comfortable matress (even with a heating blanket in case you are cold, which can be in Xiahe) and pillows. Everything in the house is very clean, it’s only 5 minutes walking from Labrang monastery and 20 from the bus station. We are glad we spent our time in Xiahe at this guesthouse, would come back for sure!!

It was a wonderful hotel experience. I stayed here for two days and felt very comfortable! First, the location is very convenient. The Shazhou Night Market is just a few minutes' walk away, and there are many delicious restaurants and convenience stores downstairs. It was also quick to visit the Mogao Grottoes and Mingsha Mountain. After visiting Mingsha Mountain, we took the free shuttle bus, which stopped near the night market. The walk back to the hotel was also short, about 10 minutes. Second, the breakfast was very good and delicious. The main dishes, such as the steamed buns, were very fragrant, and the environment was clean. However, the smart features in the room, especially the toilet, are difficult for those who have never used it before. The light in the toilet would suddenly turn off, which was a bit funny. There is a drying area upstairs in the hotel, so if we washed clothes at night, they would be almost dry by the morning. Finally, I have to give a huge thumbs up to the hotel staff! !!!!!! Seeing that we had a lot of luggage, the cleaning lady upstairs was very helpful, starting with helping us. She also helped us in the lobby. Every time she saw us, she smiled, which was very heartwarming. When they see you coming back from outside, they will give us a cup of red date ginger tea, which warms our stomachs. I really recommend this place!!!

Hotel is very nice. The location is close to the Shanzhou Night Market and it takes roughly 5-10 Minutes by walking there. In one of the side alleys are hidden gems, namely restaurants that do not appear on Google Maps or Apple Maps. I recommend to explore the surrounding area. Also the hotel is very clean in general, however my room has stains of previous travelers in the rug. I recommend to thoroughly clean it professionally. The staff were excellent and super friendly. Check In was very easy as foreigner and the overall service was very good.
