Booked a bit late so didn't really have many choices in Salzburg. But I was surprised by the service and cleanliness of the room. I messaged the hotel directly to ask for direction from the station and was told to take Obus No 2. It was easy to get there with the pre-arrange Salzburg Mobility Card.
Location wise it is not near to the station of Ler the main area. But it is ok since there is couple of supermarkets nearby (Billa, EuroSpar and Aekshea - Asian mart).
The bottled water is only 1 per stay. Free flow of tap water is highly recommended.
Easy check in, but with a lot of information needed. I just write the essentials and that’s it.
Location is superb, 3min walking distance to the Train station. This hostel also has its own PAID luggage storage at the back of the lobby. I did mine at the train station.
Yes, you are given the bedsheets and pillow case. You would have to do your own. Thankfully we are not required to bring it down during checkout.
Thankfully for my room and bed, the USB port and light is working. There isn’t any air-conditioning, but it gets cooler at night. Be sure to prepare ear plugs because of noisy vehicles outside the windows. Cleanliness is ok. But there are still dust and dirt and old rubbish below the beds.
If not, it is a rather good stay for its location
The hotel is located very close to the central station, which is extremely convenient. The place has a unique design, and although the lobby and breakfast area are quite small, they are cozy. The room itself is a bit small as well, but the design makes great use of every corner, making it very practical and functional, with space for everything you need. The bed was comfortable, and there is a safe in the room. However, there is no fridge unless you pay extra for one.
Breakfast is, in my opinion, overpriced at €19.90. The hotel offers luggage storage, but note that they charge an additional fee if you want to store your luggage after check-out. On the positive side, you receive a free city transport pass for the duration of your stay, which is a great benefit. On the other hand, the city tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid separately.
We stayed at Leonardo Hotel Salzburg Airport to explore the city, and it was a great choice. The hotel offers free parking and provided a free public transport card, which made getting to the city center quick and easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly.
Overall, it’s a convenient and affordable base for visiting Salzburg without the hassle of city parking.
The staffs were helpful and the receptionist Aleksandr and Tom were very friendly . İ recomend this hotel to everyone especially about the location ıt is two minutes to central train station and you can find ant buses to centre or to the other stops . Hotel was clean and there was Mozart Chocolate for my son and me. Thanks for nice two nights and three days 💕
I booked an “executive” room at a rate above the already high standard price, largely because the listing photos showed a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. In reality, the only “executive” feature seemed to be that it was located on the 6th floor. Access to the executive lounge was not included and required an extra fee — and from what I saw when peeking inside, it certainly didn’t seem worth paying for.
The biggest disappointment was the bathroom. It was shockingly small, with a shower stall easily under 1m². As a petite Asian woman, I still found it uncomfortably cramped and awkward, especially when washing my hair. The space looked nothing like the listing photos, which feels misleading. I regret not raising this with reception immediately, but the more I used the room, the more dissatisfied I became. Misrepresentation in promotional images is simply unacceptable, and I will be attaching comparison photos to show the difference.
The room itself also fell short in comfort. The pillows were so thin that they flattened to bed level the moment you lay on them — we had to fold them in half just for the extra height for support. Amenities were extremely basic and in no way justified the high room rate.
This was my first time staying at a Wyndham property, and I sincerely hope this is not reflective of the brand’s overall standards.
The only plus point of this hotel like other properties at the area is that it’s near the main train station and transportation. Service at check in was also very helpful with the nice lady taking time giving directions with a map.
It doesn’t matter where you drive. The most feared is free parking. It is self check-in. Before you check in, you receive a large room code, you can enter by yourself and have a checklist, informing you which room you are staying in, the key is inserted in the door, and there is a small kitchen. Area, kitchenware is available for cooking early check-out is also self-service, everything goes well
The hotel is a bit in the middle of nowhere, the reception is on the second floor without an elevator only stairs. Beside is McDonald's which is open until late. The bus 21 is just below the hotel is a plus that you can easily go to the city in 11-16min and free with the mobility pass the hotel gives, the bus runs almost every 25min. Overall the customer service is good.
We stayed with our car. This is a good place they provided free parking. Since parking is quite expensive in old town , we chose to take bus to go in town center. Bus stop just right across from the hotel that goes to old town directly. This Hotel provided mobile app to ride on bus for free. All these were arranged perfectly for our stay. There is the best seafood buffet next door for very affordable price. There is a super market right across by walking distance.

GGuest UserIf you want to use leisure tickets to visit the lake area, you need to pay attention to the time. You must take a bus from Havana before 6:30 at the latest, otherwise you will not be able to return. Transportation is something you need to consider. Everything else is OK, acceptable, no pros and cons, and the cost performance is still relatively high.
11326182****The hotel is in a very good location. You can reach the old town through the tunnel. There are many attractions and you can walk there. The transportation is also convenient. There is a bus stop at the door. The front desk is friendly. Although the room is small, the hygiene is also good. The Chinese restaurant opposite the hotel is very delicious. The Fujian boss lady cooks delicious dishes, which satisfies the Chinese stomach. Salzburg's Mirabell Palace and the castle fortress are highly recommended
