We came thinking the resto and bar would be open, but found out we were there out of season. We booked on Trip.com which didn't have the details on the closure for low season, so check the website for details depending on the time of year. Otherwise the place was nice, parking was easy, and the view from the hotel was great. It's about a 7 minute drive up from the town.
Hotel was just close to the Salzburg Hbf main train station where easily to access around, opposite the hotel also have Billa supermarket so can easily hunt some food and need at there. Upon check-in you may request the Salzburg city transport pass for free based on the day you stayed in this hotel… Room setup was great, aircon and WiFi works well, bed was comfy, with small fridge but no kettle. The only downside was the shower area was just a pcs of fix glass so when bath the water may easily splash out the makeup area. Overall is a good stay for me. Thank you Arte Hotel Salzburg.
Extremely close to the OBB train station and right next to a major bus hub, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions by bus or even on foot. The front desk staff proactively offered a free transport card during check-in, which was a nice touch! 👍 The hotel's decor is unique, and breakfast was good. Highly recommend staying here.
Nice 4-star hotel with an indoor pool and sauna.
Located right behind the central station, with convenient access to shopping areas.
Small gym; however, the lack of disposable cups was a bit inconvenient.
The mattress was not very comfortable and the pillows didn’t provide enough support, but the water pressure in the shower was strong and the temperature was just right.
Location is close to the train station just within 5 minutes walking distant. There is a daily open supermarket. That's perfect.
The room looked claen but I was bitten by something to be suspected as bed bugs at night.
We bought Salzburg card at reception at rate lower than websites.
However staff is not very helpful. They did not tell us that you can get a free Guest Mobility Ticket during our stay. You need to ask. Also, we tried to scan QR code in the room to request room cleaning service but it requested us to sign in the apps. I asked the staff I failed to sign up the apps and the staff just asked me to go to the reception again in the next morning to request the cleaning and she was not willing to promote their company's apps.
Also, during our stay, seems like there were school activities and many kids stayed there. They played and layed on the corridor outside our room door at night even after 9 p.m. The kids were polite and let us way go inside but the door doesn't seem to be very well soundproofed. We can still heard their voice.
Right turn out of the train station, it's incredibly close – perfect for travelers catching a train. There's a McDonald's and Burger King, and a Spar supermarket inside the station, so amenities are complete.
The train station is also a major hub, with the 150 bus going to the Lake District, making transport very convenient.
There's a free spa, but I might not necessarily want to use it.
The Austrian gentleman at the front desk was very kind and offered a telephone wake-up service, which is great for those needing to catch an early train.
The room isn't as stylish as the exterior, but it's perfectly adequate and came with a large bottle of water.
You need to pay the city tax separately at the front desk, which is 3.55 euros per person per night and can be paid by card.
A tourist bus card will be automatically sent to your email.
Had a very wonderful stay at Austria Trend Hotel Europa. The staff professionalism in handling my request on the room and also manage to deal with the issue regarding the Salzburg Guest Mobility Ticket on the day of arrival is a plus point before even my check-in.
Allow up to 12pm to check out also allow flexibility for me to do some last sightseeing of the City before leaving. Overall I am very satisfy with my stay and do not regret my selection of choosing this hotel.

This is not a fully-fledged hotel, but more like an apartment. The location in the city is not cozy, but it is close to the station and bus stops, and the old town can be reached by foot in half an hour. The establishment does not serve breakfast, but the apartments are comfortable and spacious, I got a room with windows to the courtyard, so it was quiet. There is a kettle in the room, but the previous guest made noodle soup in it, and the housekeeper did not notice. Of course, this is largely not the responsibility of the establishment, just some travelers are pigs. The staff was helpful, allowing me to check in much earlier than stated in the conditions, thank you for that:)
The room was quite far from the reception area. I wonder if it was intentional for Chinese people. When you check in, be sure to ask the front desk not to give you the farthest room!!! The room had no air conditioning and was very stuffy. There was only one air conditioner in the attic, but the shower had decent water pressure. The surroundings felt unprotected, and the lake was rather dirty. It wasn't as beautiful as the pictures. The library and breakfast were excellent!

HHaidiandayaoziThe room facilities and location are acceptable. Don't have too high expectations, because in the Austrian Lake District at this season, the room price is usually over 1,500, but theirs is only a few hundred, which is really very conscientious. It is suitable for poor people to experience the Austrian Lake District. Parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces.
GGuest UserThe quilt is yellowed and the facilities are quite old. It's okay to stay for one night, but the front desk is very friendly and the hotel provides free transportation cards, which is very convenient. You can also use it to go to the lake area. If you need it when you check in, you can tell the front desk.
