"A very comfortable hotel to stay in! Whether it is the beauties in the front hall or the handsome guys at the gate, the service is very warm, thoughtful and considerate~ I live in 216. There is a threshold at the door, and the robot can't get up. It was the handsome guy in the front hall who ran up to send me~ When checking out, Ms. Wang in the front hall was patient and considerate~
The room was clean and hygienic, of moderate size, and I was given an upgrade. The mattress was a mousse one~ (professional habit... I even looked through other people's mattresses...), the breakfast was rich, with everything you need, but I went a little late... some dishes were out 😂
Because I have been working in the hotel industry and I travel frequently on business, I am quite picky about hotels within the reimbursement range. This is one of the hotels I particularly liked that I stayed in recently. The only thing is that it is a little far from the city center, but it is only 1 km away from Zhangjiakou Station... Anyway, I will definitely stay here again next time I come!"

"I would like to remind you that this hotel is a so-called five-diamond hotel by Ctrip, not a five-star hotel, and does not provide five-star services. Although I called them to confirm, they said they were of five-star standard. But it is not. Five-star hotels provide free use of gyms and swimming pools. But they charge for it. Secondly, their breakfast is very poor. There are three waiters in the huge breakfast room, and even the chef cannot be seen. The cold dishes are not fresh. I have pictures. "During the May Day holiday, I was ready to avoid the crowd and went around Beijing. I accidentally saw the hotel in Huailai. I was attracted by its nice name and the design style of Suzhou gardens. I booked three rooms directly. The environment after arriving was particularly pleasant. It was a little rainy that day and it felt like entering the south of the Yangtze River. The room was clean and the front desk clerk was very enthusiastic. The children did pottery production. The adults drank tea in the room together. There was a tea room next to it. But I closed the door that day. I wanted to drink tea in the yard, the artistic conception would be more beautiful! I hope that next time I go, I can upgrade my room for me. It would be more perfect to have a cup of tea in the yard. ❤️
The surprise is not only the environment, but also the party hall at the bottom of the lake downstairs. The children have a great time and say that they will come here for a birthday next time. 🎂

"This was the best hotel I've stayed at in China. It's even better than hotels that were 4 times the price. The attention to detail in the rooms was excellent. My favorite amenities were the pillow/mattress menu, free soap scrubber in the shower, open concept bathroom. I was also please that the hotel provided a small air conditioner (since it's late October, the hotel's system was set to heat instead is cool) and I was able to sleep in 20 degree comfort. Also, the hotel had free wine tasting! Also, the restaurant was delicious (expensive, but worth it!)."

"An excellent experience! I booked through Trip.com a week in advance, and later noticed the price dropped on the app. I called customer service, and they helped me cancel and rebook at the lower price. Upon arrival, the front desk manager upgraded my room, and the view was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. The indoor and outdoor hot springs truly added a lot of enjoyment to the trip. The room was equipped with a washing machine, dryer, a large refrigerator, and an induction cooker, so I could easily make instant noodles or even a hot pot. This provided great convenience and made me feel right at home. A truly delightful stay!"

"This hotel has very obvious pros and cons.
Cons:
1. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable, even harder than the cheapest mattress at an Atour Hotel. Combined with the hotel's pillows, which are either too thin or too thick, lying on my back hurt my lower back, and lying on my side hurt my shoulders and neck. This is a major drawback. It felt like a mattress you'd find in a cheap rental. If you stay here, I recommend asking for an extra duvet to put under you as a makeshift mattress – it might help a little.
2. The soundproofing of the room door isn't very good; conversations in the hallway are very clearly audible in the room.
3. This was an incidental issue: the window handle was a bit faulty, so it didn't close tightly. The underfloor heating also seemed to have a problem; I woke up cold in the middle of the night on the first day. There wasn't even a spare blanket in the room.
4. The room is a bit dark. If you have children who need to do homework, it's best to bring your own desk lamp.
5. Hot water from the sink takes a very long time to come out.
Pros:
1. The service attitude is excellent; they deliver requested items very promptly.
2. The room is very spacious, which made for a comfortable stay.
3. Although the hotel is a bit far from the cable car, the views are nice.
4. The restaurant on the 9th floor of the hotel serves decent food, making dining convenient."

InterContinental Chongli

This was my first time staying in Chongli, and after comparing various options, I finally decided on the InterContinental. Let's start with the positives:
1. Avoiding the crowded streets and bustling areas of the town was a major priority for me.
2. The hotel is relatively new, its facilities are comprehensive, and the rooms are spacious.
3. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and tasted good. There were fewer Western choices, but plenty of hot Chinese dishes.
4. The restrooms feature Washlets (bidets) – a huge bonus!
5. Free underground parking with EV charging stations.
Now for the drawbacks:
1. Many TV channels in the room had no signal, especially the major satellite and international ones.
2. The shower water pressure was weak, possibly the lowest I've encountered in a hotel of this class.
3. Several design elements were quite counter-intuitive. For instance, the shower control was on a different wall from the showerhead. The restroom door, being a fire door, was extremely heavy; I felt a touch of claustrophobia just going in to use the toilet. Also, the shower door was labeled 'Push' but actually required pulling to open.
4. The entire hotel felt like a maze. Even upon checking out, I still hadn't quite figured out where the main entrance was or the exact orientation of my room.
5. The breakfast area's layout was also quite peculiar, with stations scattered rather randomly. Salads and fruits, for example, were tucked away in a tiny corner of the main dining hall, leading everyone who discovered them to exclaim, 'Oh, there's more food here!'

Beijing is too hot, temporarily decided to come to Chongli to escape the heat, looked at the Taiwu Town Hotel, and finally decided to stay in Binliya. Location is directly opposite the fulong four season town物业服务中心 canteen, open for breakfast lunch and dinner, if you are too tired to head to chongli town after a full day of skiing. Boss lent me his card so i could get discount at the canteen. The location is ideal, a few stops by internal shuttle bus to fulong ski resort, shuttle bus stop is just downstairs. And it takes bout 10 mins to walk to chongli town where there is plenty of restaurants and ski equipment rental. I rented my entire set of ski equipment from the boss' shop, he gave me a good discount as i was staying for a long period. It is the cheapest rental i saw in the whole chongli town. And his ski equipment are newly purchased from french brand rossignol and very clean.
Other than that, boss also offered two way transport to chongli railway station and helped with booking of ski tickets, ski instructor etc. He even recommended a good sports massage place to me after i had sore muscles from skiing! Basically, you just need to book accomodation thru boss and he handles the rest for a stress-free ski holiday!

YYunqianma-yanI go to Thaiwoo Town every summer. Since my second visit, I've always chosen to stay at Xueluju, and this was my third consecutive stay. Both the service and the hotel's environment are consistently excellent. This year, I was in such a rush checking out that I accidentally left my trunk's cargo cover in the underground parking lot. To my utter surprise, with just one phone call, a front desk attendant went all the way to our parking spot, located it, and even arranged to have it mailed back to us. I was incredibly touched by this gesture! This level of dedication to service truly deserves a big thumbs-up!

The front desk and the cleaning lady are very good and can meet all your needs. Because the sanitation is cleaned in time, you can check in early. There is a bus pick-up right after the high-speed rail. Wanlong Apartment, Shuanglong, and Yulong are all connected by corridors and are very close to the ski resort. I was very worried about the cheap price before the trip. I didn't expect to live in such a cost-effective hotel during the peak ski season. It's great! Wanlong is the first choice for skiing!

Spa on site with decent massage and excellent hot pool, dry sauna and barrel tubs included with our stay. My partner and I were traveling by bicycle and were able to keep the bicycles in the room with us, which was great! The bed was decently comfortable. Our only complaint was we ordered room service for dinner and the food was old or made from frozen and not very appetizing.

One of the bedside spotlights couldn't be turned off and stayed on all night. Hopefully, the hotel's engineering department can fix it as soon as possible to make guests more comfortable. Other services, the environment, and cleanliness were all good, especially the balcony which faced the Snow Ruyi Pavilion and looked beautiful when lit up at night. This hotel was built for the East Olympics, following the mountain terrain and incorporating elements of cave dwelling design, highlighting its cultural value. Compared to the various small-town hotels, this place is very quiet and suitable for rest.
