"Best of this trip! It was worth it to change the itinerary! The children were reluctant to leave... The small mountain village is very comfortable, the B&B is in a good location, the food in the cafeteria is delicious and the coffee is delicious!
Facilities: Very complete, very good. I booked two rooms, one of which had a slight odor in the bathroom.
Hygiene: Very clean, very clean, very clean
Environment: Very comfortable, convenient for viewing, fire pit roasted tofu, baba, roasted tea is great 👍,
Service: The biggest highlight is that the service provided is amazing, almost perfect."
"I don't understand how Ctrip got 4 stars, maybe the hotel is new? The hardware is so-so, the window in the room is broken, the cable TV line is connected through the window, and the window cannot be completely closed. Those are fine, but the service is totally non-existent. There were two girls at the front desk. One spoke like a kitten and was unsure about anything she asked. The other spoke casually when asked if there was anything to eat in the evening and said we could just come down and order. But when we came down to order, she told us to go to the kitchen to ask what was available. When we went to the kitchen, they said there was no food, but there were clearly several plates of freshly made dishes on the table. There are souvenirs on the order page, but they were not given to me when I left. I was too lazy to ask. In short, there is no management. If you care about your travel experience, please be careful."
"advantage:
The environment is good, clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood is quite quiet. However, the sound insulation of the door is a bit poor, and sounds can be heard from the corridor.
There is an independent balcony and there is no light pollution nearby at night. If the weather is good, you can probably take pictures of the stars.
Breakfast is one serving per person. If you don't have enough eggs and corn, you can add more. It's quite rich.
You can order food to be delivered to the room, and the taste is still good.
shortcoming:
There was not enough hot water during peak water hours. Even when I took a shower in mid-May, I even turned it to the hottest setting and it was so cold that I shivered.
Doors and windows must be closed when entering or exiting, otherwise flies may fly in.
Food was delivered to the room. It took an hour from ordering to eating, which was too slow."

"Just love at a glance!
Surrounding the inn is the distant mountains such as Dai, Qingtian into the painting. Parking is available in the small courtyard downstairs, and the room is very large and spacious! Sitting by the floor-to-ceiling windows, drinking tea, watching the puppy duck calf on the road downstairs, don't have a lot of fun.
The boss is a super tasteful literary young man, the famous school graduated fluent in English, and the foreigners nearby came to ask him for a tour guide. If the time is right, you can also follow the boss to the market. There are many local dishes that you don't know, as well as delicious rice noodles and snacks, which is very interesting!
In short, I am very satisfied. If there are six stars, I will give six stars. Haha!"
"Our stay at the hotel was incredible!
The hotel and room are beautiful, with lovely designs and high-quality products and accessories. The bed and armchairs in the room are very comfortable. The shower and footbath were perfect after long days of hiking. The view of the rice fields is always beautiful, making it very peaceful and relaxing.
The Chinese and Western breakfasts are delicious and plentiful, allowing us to wait until dinner in the evening.
The hotel also offers a restaurant for dinner: the dishes are very varied, traditional, and, above all, always delicious.
Finally, the staff was excellent throughout our stay! Helpful, lovely, and very accommodating (they served us breakfast earlier and helped us with our bags to book a minibus for our departure). We only stayed three days, and we would have liked to have stayed longer. A little paradise. Thank you to the entire team!"
"I am a hotel owner myself. I compared many hotels and chose this one. My family is very satisfied with it. First of all, the hotel itself is newly opened and clean. I have been doing research before departure. I wanted to choose a hotel that is close to the hotel because it is convenient for watching the sunrise. It is close to Yishu. This hotel is only ten minutes' walk from Duoyishu, which is very convenient. Although it is very close by car, parking is troublesome and traffic jams are easy. It is very convenient to walk there. The restaurant downstairs of the hotel is also very delicious. I had two meals in a row. I highly recommend the fried ganba."
"Yiqiutian Inn was newly opened in August last year. The facilities are very modern and the decoration is also good. It is especially clean and hygienic. The proprietress and the boss are very enthusiastic and responsible. They helped us upgrade the view room so that we can see the terraced fields outside from the room. They came and went to help us carry our suitcases upstairs. When we left, they also enthusiastically gave us red rice. They responded to our needs in a timely manner and provided relevant information about going out to see the terraced fields, which saved us from unnecessary detours. It was a very good stay experience. The Yuanyang Terraces are really beautiful and this trip is very worthwhile. Thanks to the boss and the proprietress for their enthusiastic service. The dishes cooked by the proprietress are also very tasty."
"The only Internet-famous B&B in Duoyishuxiazhai that is close to the terraced fields is indeed a place where you can enjoy the view of the terraced fields while lying on the bed or in the bathtub. Although the room is not big, the design style is bold, and it is the first time for us to see the open bathroom and bathtub. However, it is convenient to actually experience it for two nights. It is suitable for couples or couples who have a very intimate relationship.
The cook, Sister Bai, is from the same village. Her home is diagonally across the street. She has a cheerful and outgoing personality, and the food she cooks is delicious. She recommends dried beef, mint beef, rice noodles, and fried wild vegetables that are also delicious. There is no need to go out to find food.
It takes about 15 minutes from the B&B to reach the village's viewing platform, where you can see the spectacular terraced fields. Opposite is the Duoyishu viewing platform. There are very few people in this place. If there is a drone for aerial photography, it can be compared with Duoyishu Observation Deck."
"Under the recommendation of a friend, we chose Yuanyang Yunshang Tianshang Huaxiang Inn, which is really worth it!
First of all, the location of the inn is excellent, the inn is located in the best location of Yuanyang Terraces... Duoyishu Terraces, here directly in the room of the inn and on the rooftop you can see the sunrise and terraces, beautiful and convenient; secondly, the room is fully equipped and decorated with characteristics; Moreover, the service of the inn is first-class. Due to the special location of the inn, it is some distance from the parking lot, but when the inn arrives and leaves the store, the aunt will arrange for the aunt to help the guests deliver the luggage to the parking lot, which is very warm; Not only that, the inn's rooftop has a wide view, and the boss also installed a mobile phone shooting rack for the guests to facilitate the shooting of the guests, and sincerely feel at home; in addition, the hotel breakfast is also worth mentioning. The breakfast here is one for each person, very exquisite and delicious.
If you have the opportunity to come to Yuanyang again, you will definitely choose Yuanyang Yunshang Tianshang Huaxiang Inn! Thank you boss, thank you for serving the guests here!"
"When we got to the parking lot, a staff member helped us take the suitcase to the hotel. The road was about 600 meters long. It was fine when we went there, downhill all the way, and it was basically uphill when we left, so we still felt very tired. The terraced field view room is on the first line, and you can see the sea of clouds at any time. You can walk to the Azheke Intangible Cultural Heritage Ancient Village in a few steps. The store manager and restaurant waiters are very enthusiastic. It would be better if the price-performance ratio was higher. I will come again in the future."

Excellent
FF12A7We had a lovely stay at Flowers Residence. They have a friendly resident cat too. The owner Sam is giving some good recommendations and helped us with tickets to platforms and other sightseeing too. He showed us a restaurant nearby and they have a lovely big dog, Capu. We extended our stay because of bad weather. Im glad we did coz we managed to get a beautiful sunrise and see beautiful terrace the next day. Would return again.
GGuest UserAn unforgettable stay with a wonderful family
We spent our stay at this hotel as a couple and were absolutely thrilled! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which immediately created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. What was particularly great was that our host, despite our lack of Chinese, was very keen to explain a lot about the area and give us valuable tips. Thanks to the translator app, this worked really well. He and his wife are incredibly kind and make every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible without making us feel cramped.
A real highlight was our room. The view of the surrounding rice terraces was breathtaking! On a clear morning, you can witness a true natural spectacle. The glass front of the room offers a fantastic view. If you want a little more privacy, you can simply draw the curtains.
This honestay is the perfect place to experience traditional Hani life and, in the truest sense of the word, slow down. Our hosts took us to the market in the neighboring town and explained the local specialties to us – it was a wonderful experience.
The room itself was particularly comfortable: A heated mattress that could be individually adjusted ensured cozy evenings in bed while also allowing fresh air into the room. The stay was so pleasant that we spontaneously decided to extend our stay by a day – and that was absolutely the right decision!
We are very happy to have chosen this accommodation. Many thanks again to our wonderful hosts – you made our stay unforgettable!
ZzuriahI would say everything was great except the room.
Location -- this is the main reason I choose the place. The rice terrace is in front of your room. Superb. There is rooftop to see sunrise too However, the place is not accessible for car. You need to park your car at car park around 300m from the hotel, call the hotel to pick up your luggage and you walk to the hotel by foot. It's not suitable for people with walking difficulties.
Service'-- toiletries are generous. Breakfast is great with various options. Rooms are cleaned daily with new top up of toiletries and slippers. We can do laundry too. Detergent are provided.
Why I give amenities 2 stars only? It's because I meed somewhere to give feedback on the room. I stayed for 3 nights at 2nd floor. There are 3 rooms of the same kind. However, my room has weird design. While the other two have perfect squarie room and spacious, our room, at thr most corner is smaller with bad design. There are wall built to cut off a space around 2x3 m. See pictures. It”s hard to put our luggage. There is sofa without tables. I suspect no space to add a table as it will block to walk way, not so confortable.
GGuest UserWe went to Banna and transferred to Yuanyang. The children liked this place very much. The lady at the homestay chatted and sang with the children. The children were very excited after hearing all the flattery. The village is basically inhabited by local farmers, and the children are having a great time strolling around the village feeding chickens, pigs and cows. If the weather is warmer, I would like to stay a few more days.
AAaron CedricI love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'
Ccdhx7206This is the second time I stayed at Yunshang Terrace Hotel. The hotel is located in the Hani Town of Jingkou, with convenient parking. It is not too far from the main attractions of Yuanyang Terrace.
The hotel service is good, the room is clean and tidy, and it is relatively quiet at night. Because of the floor heating, it is very comfortable at night. In addition, the hotel restaurant is not bad, and the food is more in line with our taste. Finally, we were fortunate to see the spectacular sea of clouds in the early morning of the second day of our stay. The area around the hotel is like a fairyland.
GGuest UserHighly recommend Jackie's guesthouse. It's a really beautiful location right by the rice paddies, nestled into his village. It was a big plus for us that he is fluent in English, so we could ask him lots of questions and he helped us alot. Thank you Jackie!
The area is a bit tricky to explore because they don't seem to do scooter rentals for foreigners. So you have to take these minivan taxi/bus things, which we experienced a lot of unpleasant haggling with. More of a taxi than a bus, at least for tourists. But it sure is beautiful and an interesting culture to get to know.
GGuest UserThe inn is located close to the sunrise viewing platform, about 10 minutes' walk away, which is quite convenient and successfully avoids traffic congestion, especially on holidays. The conditions of the inn are average, but very clean. The innkeeper is very nice. We wanted to hike with our children, and he recommended routes for us and took us through the places where we are most likely to get lost. Although the whole hiking process was a little regrettable, the whole family was very happy and satisfied. Let me talk about the boss's cooking skills. The food is really good and the portion is big. We, three adults and two children, had three dishes and one soup and were all full. In short, the two children were full of praise.
GGuest UserWe loved our stay. It was Chinese New Year so it was a bit busy in the area, but our hotel was an oasis. We found the hotel staff helpful and accommodating. This hotel is a good location if you want to hike through the rice terraces and from village to village.
TTravis and ElishaWhat a great location for being amongst the terraces! We splurged and got the terrace view room, and it was very nice with a great view, comfortable bed, warm blankets, and hot shower. The room has an unblocked view of the terraces. But if you don't get that room, the upstairs balcony has the very best view. But we enjoyed watching the sunrise from our bed with hot tea.
Lucian is really great! He explained to us different hiking options for seeing other views. His English is really good too so you can ask him any questions about the area. He has a sweet old dog and a cute young cat. He's also available to pick you up if you get lost or have trouble getting back after sunset.
There are 2 good restaurants a 10 minute uphill walk away, or Lucian can cook you meals, which are also great.
Thanks Lucian!
