The family suite we booked was spacious and decorated with ethnic characteristics. Although it takes 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the hotel, there is a special person to transport the luggage. Along the way, you can overlook the Duoyishu Terraces along the plank road. The hotel is at the end of a famous hotel area, so the view is excellent, even better than the viewing platforms in several scenic spots. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the Yunhai Terraces from the bed. The boss also has three cute kittens with different personalities. One is particularly affectionate. As long as you look into its eyes, it will jump on your legs and purr. The food is also delicious. I recommend beef jerky and bacon. You can also rent ethnic costumes for taking photos and tripods!

It's cost-effective, and you can see the sunrise terraced scenery through the outside window of the room. If you are on the public platform of the inn, the viewing effect will be better. Arriving at the inn early, the boss arranged check-in as soon as possible. The inn can provide lunch and dinner, and the owner will cook it himself. The ingredients and cooking skills are great! Although the room didn't have air conditioning, it was definitely warm with electric heaters, electric blankets and extra blankets.

The inn is very close to the observation deck. We set out at 7:10 and only took a few minutes to walk there. It was still dark at that time. After watching the sunrise, we returned to the inn for breakfast at 9 o'clock. The room was spacious and clean, and you could see a small part of the scenery in the scenic area from the room. The boss and his wife were very enthusiastic. Next time I come, I will stay here again.

The location of the inn is very good, as soon as you enter the tree, it is convenient to go anywhere, the surrounding area is very open, like a ”single villa”. It has its own small garden, restaurant, glass room tea room, public activity area, book bar, water bar to drink coffee, and it is really healing to watch the terraces while drinking tea. The room is large in size, separated from wet and dry, the hygiene is very good, there is a cd machine, the boss design is still very tasteful. The best thing is that there are radiators and electric blankets, and I really sleep super well in the mountains. The housekeeper Ma Ge's family is very enthusiastic and very careful to plan the itinerary for us. When we left, we also told us to take the Yuanlv Second-Level Highway. It was really much better than the five sections of love. At first, I was afraid that we would not visit the attractions, and offered to lead us. We came back at night and prepared a charcoal stove for us to warm up. The eldest sister and dumplings are very delicious. I love this hotel! The room is so atmospheric, with large windows connecting you with the beautiful scenery outside. On a foggy day, you cannot see any of the terraces and there's not much to do outside, but the room is at its most magical in the fog... the view looks like a famous Japanese screen of 'pine in mist'... or a Song dynasty painting. Incredibly beautiful.... I wish I spent more time in the room! The location of the hotel is perfect for those who want to see the sunrise over Duoyishu, since you can view it on the roof or, if you want to go to the best viewing platform that's only about a 10 minute walk away. The hotel is also semi-walking distance to Azheke Village, which is 45-60 minutes by walking on the ring road. Every morning the hotel serve rice noodle soup using local red rice.... it's quite nourishing to start a day of hiking. Oh, and the boss is really friendly and helpful. He seems to only speak Chinese, but I think he will go out of his way to be helpful if you dont speak Chinese. He makes great recommendations and even seems to be good at forecasting the weather to help you plan your trip. He definitel 'knows the hills.'

Jacky's is the place for me as someone who has very limited understanding of Chinese. Moreover, many of the older villagers can't speak Chinese anyway. Jacky is a native of this place. I chose a very basic room which was sufficient for my needs. He was most helpful with information on photography, himself being a photographer and Hani culture. He arranged arrival and departure for me and helped with luggage. Please be aware that you will be in a very rural and once remote part of the country, so don't expect luxurious surroundings. If you are squirmish about mud, dirt and animal droppings, well, get used to it and enjoy one of the wonders of human effort and creation. If you are a photographer, do yourself a favour and also get a drone. Incomparable and endless views of rice terraces. And yes, Duoduo their dog can take you for a walk down to the terraces.

The hardware and software of the B&B are very good. My room has a large window where I can see the scenery and observe the weather. The B&B has a good place to dry clothes. We ate almost all three meals at the B&B. It was delicious and the price was OK. The best thing is the enthusiastic tour guide service provided by the boss. Just like the message from the previous hotel guest, the boss will teach us how to get around and play (most of us walked, not chartered a car). In case we get lost, the boss will personally guide us He took us for a long walk, went deep into the village, and took a closer look at the culture and landscape. It was great and a 100% recommended B&B. In addition, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery by walking around the B&B, and you can also walk into the large rice fields (walking along the fields), which is great for taking pictures. In addition, the boss and his wife have amazing physical strength and load-bearing ability. They directly carried our suitcases up and down, carrying them in the traditional way. It was really amazing!

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are clean and the cat is so cuuuuute! The manager is really helpful and speaks English, he helped us to arrange our transportation to Jianshui, he gave us many information about the activities and hikes around and also gave us a lot of drinking water and snacks. There are also board games in the rest area in the hotel, we played a game with the car on our laps, so nice. We had an amazing stay there, it was perfect.

Maybe because it was the off-season, there was no one at the counter when we arrived in the afternoon, so we had to go back to the car and wait because of the rain. It wasn't until a little brother came back that he went upstairs and asked someone to check in. The room is average, but it is still clean, the hot water is not hot, fortunately it is summer now. The restaurant downstairs is closed, so it is inconvenient to eat. You have to drive to a nearby restaurant to eat. I don't know how the breakfast is, because the restaurant is not open, but an old lady should be the mother of the boss! They said they could cook it for me, but it didn't work for me. Generally speaking, I feel that it is not in business and I do not recommend staying here unless it reopens, but there is no elevator, and it is inconvenient to have a lot of luggage. The parking space is at the door, so you can park 3~4 cars!
