We had a fantastic experience at the Liangsu hotel and we’d love to come back to visit again one day. Since the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and worked really hard to make our stay a special and memorable one. This is a luxury hotel but the staff made our stay a really personable experience with their kindness and care. From the little treats they provided us (thank you for the cake and balloons to celebrate our engagement!) to helping us book tickets to local attractions, they always tried hard to support us with our requests. As a couple from Spain and the UK, we were able to communicate easily with staff and they always tried to improve our experience. Our favourite things about the hotel: - Amazing room - Fantastic staff (a big shoutout to Lynn and Xixi, as well as our photographer Caicai) - Great breakfast - Very good location We’d recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Yangshuo, it’s a fantastic option.

Our stay at Xitang Riverview Hotel in Yangshuo was truly unforgettable. The view from our balcony room was nothing short of spectacular — two large windows and a small outdoor table offered a perfect vantage point over the river and the iconic karst mountains. The peaceful scenery changed throughout the day, and waking up to horses bathing in the river, cormorants drying their wings in the sun, hot air balloons floating over the peaks, and bamboo rafts gliding by was magical. The room also featured a lovely little tea corner, adding a cozy and authentic touch to the stay. One of the highlights was the complimentary afternoon tea served daily on the rooftop, complete with fresh fruit and sweet treats — a relaxing ritual with a breathtaking view. After exploring the area, taking a dip in the panoramic pool was the perfect way to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection and fresh options. Overall, the Xitang Riverview Hotel offers a serene and scenic experience that made our time in Yangshuo truly special.

The hotel is strategically located on the Yulong River, with beautiful views. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountains and rivers from the room. The room I stayed in was relatively small. There was no coffee table or stool in the room, so I could only sit on the bed. The bathtub on the balcony was just a decoration. It was hot and sunny during the day, and I could be seen by tourists on bamboo rafts and tourists downstairs in the hotel. There were too many mosquitoes and insects at night, so I couldn't take a bath at all. The breakfast was small, but the afternoon tea was very good. The waffles and chocolate cakes were delicious. The selling point is the view. The decoration of the hotel room is very average, simple style, and the experience is average

The hotel was out of my expectation. Amazing! The hotel was clean and neat. The room was large and comfortable with a xiaomi control. The washing machine was provided with washing powder! Very useful especially after the days playing in the river! Tho you need to take taxi out or back to the hotel, it’s still a very good choice to stay there. You can even rent an electric bike from the hotel.

I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had during my travels. Before the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and supportive. Their service was outstanding—probably the best I've encountered anywhere! As non-Mandarin speakers, we initially worried about communication, but the hotel staff recommended using WeChat for messaging, which had an automatic translation function. This made everything so much easier, and we were able to connect seamlessly. The staff also went above and beyond to help us book various itineraries, providing discounts that made our stay even more enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by the range of amenities offered. Their service was impressively quick; we received responses to our queries in less than 30 minutes! The hotel also offered breathtaking views of nature, visible right from our window. It was a beautiful backdrop that added to our overall experience. Additionally, since our group only eats halal food, we were grateful for the staff's guidance on halal-friendly options. They ensured that we were only served meals that met our dietary requirements. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Good place, peace and quiet. Away from city centre so can sleep well. Room is clean and tidy, comfy bed, good powerful shower. All the hotel amenities provided. Non smelly hotel. Smell nice. Can’t smell cigarette smoke in the room which is brilliant. Brand new hotel. Good decor. Small pool Upstairs to enjoy the scenery. A restaurant upstairs large enough to bill at the roof top. Overall, very satisfied

It is two streets away from the main street (West Street) so a very nice location to be close to all the restaurants and stores but away from the noise (specially at night). We were at the top floor (no elevator) but had an amazing balcony a nice views of the river. Best bed of our entire trip for sure, would have taken it home if it fit in our luggage. The only thing is that the name is not written anywhere, so it is a bit tricky to find. 10 meters away from the corner entrance there is another hostel called Teaside Inn or something similar. That’s the place you need to go to get the key. Very nice stay all in all, they also rent motorbikes in case you want to get one.

This Villa is in the perfect spot - right next to Moon Hill and along the main road into Yangshuo. The staff are super helpful, willing to book and check any attractions, cars and scooters, and ensure you know exactly what is happening. The WeChat service was excellent as you could translate messages. They also used this to personalise the services on offer. There were daily reminders and announcements as to food and weather. One of the main reasons for booking this villa was the hot tubs - each room comes with your own, serviced, private 'bubble pool'. The bed was very comfortable an the room spacious. I HIGHLY recommend this Villa for your trip to the beautiful Yangshuo.

The hotel is simply amazing. The rooms are beautiful with the smallest details well thought out for your convenience. The lobby, restaurant, and outside area are also beautiful and decorated with taste. The view is magnificent. It's so tranquil at this resort. It's a small hotel so there are not a lot of people, which is why I think the hotel staff is able to pay attention to every single detail. The service is even better. There was one person who spoke English and she was very helpful. We were able to communicate with everyone else through WeChat group. They have both local and Western breakfast options, which are made for you within 5 minutes of ordering, so it's fresh. The midnight snacks are delicious. But the staff goes even further. I thought it was very cute for them to notice little things. For example, first day we left out chili peppers from our lunch, so the next day, they excluded them from the meal without asking or leaving a cleaning cloth next to my reading glasses. The staff really pays attention and makes your stay even better. This is more than a 5 star hotel.
