"We were looking for a place to stay whilst we visited Winchester and decided to go here. The room was spacious and the air con was lovely on a very hot day. The bed was lovely and comfortable and was nice and clean. Will definitely book you again to experience the spa side of things in the future"

"The hotel is well located in the centre of town however parking and access by car was a big problem; we had to park a mile away. Our room (and those of other travellers) wasn't ready on arrival. The room was in the main building; the bed was comfortable and the room had usual amenities. The shower was a little dated. We used the bar which was comfortable although overly busy due to two large parties booked in for events that evening. The bartender, Micky, coped really well with the large number of customers from the events. Breakfast included a good choice of hot and cold options and service was good. We felt the hotel tariff was over-priced even allowing that we visited for the Christmas market in December."

"The water in the shower is so slow and weak that it was dripping and it was not warm, quite cold. Difficult to shower and wash hair. :("
