"every one was very good expect one old lady at the reception who was very non co operative and felt very racist kind of a approach. The Director events intervened and ensure our issues were resolved. The other Director Priya and Kira and other staff were also very kind and co operative . Could not capture her name. She left a bad taste...but was covered well by the Director of Sales and Event who luckily happened to be there and managed the situation."

I had a truly fantastic experience at Cosi Vientiane and highly recommend it! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff were incredibly welcoming and efficient, making check-in a breeze. Their friendly demeanor really set a positive tone for my entire stay.
A lovely touch was the complimentary coffee shop voucher – a perfect way to start the day with a delicious brew right within the hotel.

"We had a wonderful stay at Riverside Hotel in Vientiane and highly recommend it to other couples or travelers. The staff were extremely helpful and polite throughout our visit, making us feel truly welcome. Our room was modern, spotless, and beautifully lit, with great amenities including free Netflix and YouTube, and a stylish washroom with excellent water pressure. The breakfast each morning was satisfying, offering both Western and Asian options along with delicious coffee. The location is unbeatable—just steps away from the Mekong River, the night market, and a variety of shops and restaurants."

"We booked a triple room, but the one we were given was quite small, cramped, and had a strong musty smell, making it uninhabitable. We requested to change to a larger quadruple room, agreeing to pay an additional 1,000 Baht for our two-night stay.
The new room was spacious and comfortable, featuring one queen-sized bed and two single beds. It had a TV with Netflix (though the screen was a bit small) and a small, somewhat old refrigerator.
Overall, it was a decent stay, but there was a strong drain smell from the bathroom. The room had only one air conditioning unit, located at the back near the bathroom entrance. Due to the room's size, the AC couldn't cool the entire space evenly. Thankfully, there were two ceiling fans which helped; one was a bit tricky to turn on, but we managed to get the other working.
The staff were attentive and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent."

Airport pick up very pricy, we paid USD 10 for 10 minute ride, better use loco app to get 3 times cheaper."

Staff really nice and friendly, they provide drinking water, water heater, instant coffee.
Bed in female dorm is comfy, but air conditioning needs more cold, no soap and shampoo in the bathroom.

NNolliganLocals refer to this hotel as ‘the Chinese hotel’, and it is very Chinese. The reception staff don’t speak English but are fluent in Chinese. Room deposits can be paid in RMB. The Buffett breakfast is excellent, the pool are other facilities are good too. The rooms are clean (see photos). Conveniently located for the airport, local area is okay but not brilliant.

II am CThis is a good hotel, but there is no lift in this hotel, i just notice that after i check in. My room is on the fourth floor, and I have to climb it every day up and down.. 😭 The stairs are also very high, more inclined and higher than ordinary stairs.
Breakfast and service were good, and the front desk was friendly.

This hotel I stayed at was a complete surprise! ✨The room was incredibly thoughtfully decorated, warm and stylish, and the bedding was as soft as a cloud. ☁️ Opening the curtains, the city view was breathtaking, and the light was incredible! So much attention to detail! 💯 The room was spacious, and there was a rooftop pool. It's close to the Arc de Triomphe, and in a prime location, it has everything you need, including delicious food. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay. I'll definitely choose this hotel next time I visit. It's a true gem, and I can't recommend it enough! 🥳 Great!

GGuest UserOur room was set back from the road, so it was nice and quiet at night. The owner is Chinese, which made communication very easy, and they were also incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're looking for an affordable and practical place to stay, this is a great choice.

GGuest UserI had an amazing experience staying at Lily Hotel in Vientiane! The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, very comfortable with all the essentials provided. The bed was soft, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the bathroom was spotless with a good hot shower. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in housekeeping — everything was kept fresh and tidy every day.
The service was truly exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and efficient.
Lily Hotel is a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Vientiane. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and outstanding service!

KKurzaWe had many difficulties at this hotel.
What was good: the rooms were clean, despite many negative comments regarding cleanliness. We had all necessary things in the bathroom, hot water, etc. The aircon in the room worked fine and the beds were comfortable to sleep on.
Breakfast is quite average and not much food for Western people. There are some things to eat such as fruits, yogurt, cereal, eggs but everything else are Asian food.
What was bad:
- Check-in was an absolute mess. The reception area looks like a ghost town with only one person checking in guests on a Saturday. We waited very long to be helped.
Finally, after long waiting time we reach the room to see that someone else already occupies the room. Due to a severe lack of English from the receptionist, we explained there is someone staying in the room and that we need a different room. He nodded that he understood and typed on his computer, scan a new room key but gave the same room number three times. So three times we had to explain that we need a COMPLETE DIFFERENT ROOM since there are already guests inside. This took very long. We got a new room finally but it was a twin room and not the type of room we booked.
- No sound proof walls, we can hear our neighbor coughing in his room at night
- The gym is not functional at all. So many broken machines that we were not able to use the gym during our stay. There is also no air conditioner in the gym even for when it’s maintained better.
- The elevator buttons are not working properly, the button to close the elevator door doesn’t work at all.
Generally this hotel has the potential to be much better. Management seriously needs to improve these shortcomings.
