This JI Hotel in Laos is a franchised location. Setting the facilities and environment aside for a moment, the service here was absolutely phenomenal and completely exceeded my expectations. A special shout-out to the three local Lao front desk staff, guest service ambassadors, and duty managers—these Lao girls spoke excellent Chinese. From the night I arrived, I had quite a few requests, but they never showed the slightest impatience. Instead, they went above and beyond to accommodate me. Even when they were extremely busy, they did their absolute best to help resolve my issues and tackle any difficulty. I wonder if this reflects the genuine hospitality of the Lao people! In short, the service was truly exceptional. As for the hotel's surroundings and the room: the property is located along the Mekong River, and given the climate in Vientiane, there are naturally quite a few mosquitoes, though keeping the balcony doors shut easily takes care of that. My Executive King Room on the 7th floor did have a slight musty smell, but it was tolerable. The front desk proactively offered to switch my room, and when we requested a thorough cleaning, both the front desk and the housekeeping staff made every effort to deliver, exceeding our expectations. Plus, this overseas JI Hotel is built and operated completely up to the domestic standards in China, making the overall experience very pleasant. The service was way beyond a 10/10—huge kudos to those Lao girls at the front desk! 👍

Traveling from Vang Vieng, I stumbled upon this hotel by chance, and it turned out to be quite good. The hotel is located in the heart of Vientiane, very close to the Mekong River, so you can catch the sunset over the Mekong in the evening. The hotel breakfast is delicious. Although the variety is a bit limited, it's exquisite and features authentic Lao specialties. The service is excellent, and communication was seamless. On the second day, the hotel staff even helped us arrange a taxi to the airport, which was very thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance.

The front desk staff greeted us with a smile, which was a definite plus. However, the room was very small, and the bathroom was shared. There was no air conditioning, only a fan, so it was too hot to sleep comfortably. They did offer free breakfast with toast/porridge and coffee.

Honestly , the best & friendliest hostel in Vientiane . It is clean . Free drinking water . The staff will help you order food to the hostel for cheaper price & help you with any other needs. Relaxed vibe & can’t wait to return . I highly recommend

The environment here is great! It's set back from the road, so it's very quiet at night, which made for a peaceful sleep. It's clean and tidy, definitely a good choice. The owner is very welcoming, speaks a little Chinese, and excellent English, making communication super easy. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

We stayed for a night as we will be leaving the next day for Kunming. The room is clean with with access to YouTube so not too bad. The only thing is the presence of mosquitoes in the room. The good thing is its proximity to the bus station and the night market where you can soak in the local vibe. We are leaving early for a long distance trip so we asked for a packed breakfast meal as we already paid for it, it was decent with a boiled egg and 2 toast (why not make a sandwich instead) and fruits. They could have make it a bit better though as I read some rave reviews on good selection of foods for breakfast.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was great. The staff were also friendly, and there were many Korean restaurants nearby which was even better. There's also a supermarket about 100m away, perfect for buying souvenirs.

Great service, very clean, nice room! It was a great hotel to stay at for an early flight. It's tucked away off the main road, but the security guards in the area are more than happy to help you find it.

My stay at the Vientiane Hotel was absolutely perfect! The hotel environment is clean and grand, and the public areas are very well maintained. The room was spacious with good lighting, items were neatly arranged, and the hygiene details were spot-on, with even the corners being clean. The service was thoughtful and attentive, with quick responses. Downstairs is the Vientiane Tianjie business district, offering a huge selection of shopping and dining options, and transportation is convenient. The bed was very comfortable, the room facilities were well-maintained, and the internet was smooth. It’s quiet despite being in a bustling area, so you won't be disturbed by outside noise. The price is reasonable and offers excellent value for money. It’s rare to find such a comfortable hotel when traveling, and my overall experience was exceptionally good. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely stay here again next time. It truly deserves five stars!👍

This hotel is decent. It's a bit far from the night market, but only a 10-15 minute walk to Independence Gate. The service, however, was quite poor. Trip.com guaranteed a late checkout, and I even confirmed it with the front desk beforehand. Yet, when I went to check out, they still insisted on charging me an additional $30. Very disappointing.
