Casa Andina Premium Valle Sagrado Hotel & Villas ★★★★★
"So good. It is a beautiful hotel that is amazing to have some bad reviews. Of course, the lobby building and the actual room are far away, and it is a separate building, so it is a bit annoying to move around. It was so beautiful and I felt the camping sensibility together. A beautiful hotel surrounded by mountains. I was a little cold when I was sleeping because it was winter, but it was okay!"
Tambo del Inka, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Valle Sagrado ★★★★★
"Not all spa areas are free of charge"
Sonesta Posadas del Inca - Valle Sagrado Yucay Urubamba ★★★★
"Nice hotel with everything being perfect"
Sol Miranda Hotel ★★★
"The breakfast selection is plentiful, with a variety of fruits available, and there are many restaurants and cafes nearby. Luggage storage is available, making it convenient for travelers. It's also close to popular attractions and markets, which is very convenient."
Tierra Viva Valle Sagrado Hotel ★★★★
"Loved our stay! Our students really enjoyed all of the open spaces and the people were very kind."
Rio Sagrado, A Belmond Hotel, Sacred Valley ★★★★★
"Doesn’t meet Belmond expectations. 1. Food is average, the same we had in a small village, change a chef, not tasty at all. 2. On a breakfast waiters ALWAYS bring fruits and after 5 min asking if I need them. Why on earth I should eat fruits in 5 min? And why do you need it? Quality and variety of breakfast is not nice — all days we had not fresh blueberries. In my home country I have blueberries from Peru and it’s fresher. How it is possible? 3. Welcome is not in Belmond style: no champagne or good chocolate. 4. One day we asked to clean the room before 12, they did, we came and I was sure we are alone in the room. When I was naked I saw a gardener in our private terrace. He also saw me. How it’s possible he entered our terrace when I was in the room????? With no bell and knocking???? 5. Alpacas feeding is also trash: all people from hotel come, you will never get nice pictures like on instagram. Why you don’t make it by appointment? We had a lot of experiences with animals in different countries , this one is the worst. 6. Stuff is not well trained, communication is super artificial. Place is beautiful, but that’s it. Worst Belmond we have been to. Ask Monasterio Belmond about good experience and top notch service."
Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba ★★★★
"Set in beautiful grounds, we stayed in a 'Casita' (think cabin) behind the main building. The Casita was well appointed, with a large dressing area & ensuite. The bedroom was spacious with a log burning stove (albeit not required on our stay). The restaurant in the main building was excellent as was the bar lounge area, where you could also eat. All the staff were friendly & helpful. Highly recommend for two or three nights, so you can take advantage of the beautiful surroundings, good food, excellent service and the trips offered, such as star gazing."
Inti Punku Machupicchu Hotel & Suites ★★★
"Quite good room but small and with moquette. Used the amenities not that much due to early checkout."
Inti Punku Valle Sagrado Hotel - Signature Collection ★★★
"A hotel with rooms laid out in beautiful gardens with a spring and little bridges. Rooms are spacious and characterful - rooms and gardens are excellent. Everything fantastic - except breakfast which is good but lacking vegan options and decent healthy breads, cereals and avocado. Menu in evening has very few vegan options (unlike many other hotels). Waiter Frank is excellent and always helpful and friendly. Enjoyed my stay here lots."

Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel
"Our stay at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel was excellent. The hotel is new, well maintained, and is an ideal place to enjoy a comfortable rest before visiting Machu Picchu. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived. A staff member was waiting for us at the train station and assisted with our luggage both to the hotel and back to the station upon departure. Our room was comfortable, and the bed provided a much-needed good night’s sleep. The hotel is also conveniently located within a short walk of the bus departure point for Machu Picchu. Everything was clearly explained during check-in, while the check-out process was equally smooth and well organised. Overall, Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel offers excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and a convenient location. We would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing stay before visiting Machu Picchu."
Taypikala Deluxe Valle Sagrado
"Very good hotel with rich facilities"
Sanctuary Lodge, A Belmond Hotel, Machu Picchu
"Excellent service and hospitality provided by Katty, Nelson and the staff in restaurant and the bar ! Even the lady in gift shop was so attentive ! What an excellent location to stay in to immerse in Maccu Piccu energy ! Love the drinks and cuisines prepared, I would say the best meals I had in Peru for both lunch and dinner. Of course it is a pamper for staying in Belmond !"
Hotel Hacienda del Valle Sagrado
"First the good stuff: nice lobby and reception area, pleasant room with comfortable bed. Now the not so good: room was really cold woke several times during night due to the cold temperature in room, swimming pool freezing cold and didn’t look clean, hot tub was empty of water, sauna not in use, very limited menu choice only one dessert listed and on asking I was told it was not available. The worst thing of all was the vile smell of drains or sewage coming from bathroom, even with the door closed I could still smell it and had to wear N95 face mask while in the room, even while sleeping. No other guests seemed to be staying in hotel other than our group, felt like a ghost town."
Wifala Harmony Hotel
"Very nice people, small place that feels big with only about 10 spacious rooms total, and a restaurant with maybe 7 tables. Food was both interesting and tasty, and the presentation was beautiful. The location is about a mile and a bit from downtown. Because it’s not downtown it is very quiet and has a beautiful outdoor garden area. There are almost no straight lines in entire hotel! Kind of like buildings drawn in books by Dr. Seuss. Impossible to describe and impossible to forget."
Hotel San Agustin Urubamba
"Location was wonderful, the gardens and outdoor areas of the hotel are so lovely to sit and relax in. Rooms were tidy and enough room. Good water pressure and hot water"
Chaska Valle Green
"Rating: ★★★★★ Spontaneous Stay Turned into Home We originally planned a 14-night stay here on a whim, drawn in by the beauty of the Urubamba Valley and the hotel's **stunning garden**. It turned out to be the best decision of our trip. **Highlights:** The Team: The owner, Marcel, and the caretaker, Nora, are wonderful people. Marcel speaks great English and is incredibly helpful. Plus, their dog Tatang is a total sweetheart! Digital Nomad Paradise: The entire hotel feels like a giant, comfortable workspace. It’s perfect if you need to get things done while enjoying nature. Location & Comfort: It’s centrally located but feels like living in a private "garden home." It has everything you could possibly need. We truly felt like we were leaving family behind when we checked out. We will definitely be back!"
Casa del Sol Machupicchu
"The room had a decent view, right next to a river, but the soundproofing was terrible. Some people say the white noise from the river helps them sleep, but I felt the volume was too high… The room's decor was rather outdated, and there was only a bathtub, no shower."
Hotel Agustos Urubamba
"The internet is down, the reception is unmanned, and phone calls aren't being answered. Nobody seems to be taking responsibility. Let's just hope there isn't a fire."
Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel
"Eating fish from a hotel is a waste😇"
Casa Andina Standard Machu Picchu
"The breakfast was good, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly. But the river was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep (and I'm not kidding)."
Kantu Inn - Tourist Lodging
"The town is small, so it doesn't really matter where you stay. It's very quiet and clean, and the staff are friendly, polite, and responsive. The only downside is that the room doesn't have a hairdryer. Breakfast includes freshly made eggs and stir-fried vegetables, as well as freshly squeezed juice. If you pay in US dollars, it's even a little cheaper than the price listed on Ctrip."
Andenes Del Inca
"The young man at the front desk was very helpful; he ran down to help us with our luggage up the big steps. He even upgraded our room so we didn't have to climb the stairs anymore. He was also very helpful in introducing us to restaurants, the surrounding area, and tourist attractions."
Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley
"Amazing hotel with friendly staff. Inca design is extremely enjoyable."
Hotel California Urubamba
"My recent hotel stay was an experience that exceeded my expectations. The hotel is perfect, the rooms are very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Added to that it has a beautiful view of the valley. The location is unbeatable to explore all day and return to rest. The most notable thing about my time at the hotel was the exceptional staff. From the reception team to the cleaning staff and the food team. They all demonstrated a level of commitment and customer service that goes beyond what was expected. In particular, I want to highlight the excellent service I received from Emilia, from the reception team. She was attentive to everything and made sure that every detail of my stay was perfectly taken care of. His knowledge of the area and willingness to help always made my trip even more enriching. I will definitely return soon, greetings from Argentina!"
