Amazing
CCHARLESGood environment, good location, you can take the train directly to Machu Picchu at the hotel. The room is large, with Walk In Closet. Good service.
GGuest UserCleaning lady friendly and helpful. Owners who normally run the place out of town. Hotel is about 10 minute walk to town. Most of the road to plaza is paved. I ate at a very good restaurant in plaza. Almost all the restaurants offer excellent views and vegetarian options. The hotel has glorious views from the rooftop where they serve breakfast daily. There is coffee available or hot water 24x7. The area is quite except for cows mooing. Internet excellent. Hot shower excellent. Eggs made to order for breakfast. Google translate needed at hotel + in town. Wish all hotels offered filtered water. This would reduce the daily purchase of plastic bottled water. I enjoyed my stay.
GGuest UserBesides the location (5mins walk from train and restaurant’s) and quality of the rooms, the reason this is getting a 5 star review from me and my mates was the customer service.
The people working at the hotel - in particular Nathale and William - were absolutely wonderful. Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received (I mean this literally). They went above and beyond to answer all our questions and helped us navigate train suspensions and protests (even offered us showers and a place to rest after climbing Machu Picchu, post check out).
They didn’t just respond to needs, they assessed and identified what would make us more comfortable and they delivered it proactively.
Nn a g iI stayed to climb Machu Picchu. The access was good and the bus stop to Machu Picchu was very close.
The breakfast time was relatively early and I had to get up early, but it was delicious.
Since there is no screen door, it is recommended to be careful not to let insects come in when opening the window, or to look outside without opening.
I was grateful that the restaurant in the series was discounted.
SSham LatiffThis is a lovely hotel very near to the train station with lots of restaurants next to it. Its also very conveniently to go to the bus station up to the citadel. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. They even helped us get a really good guide for our visit to the incan city. Highly recommended
GGuest UserPros
-beautiful garden
-many bugs outside but not inside
Cons
-poor breakfast
-cannot communicate in English on front desk
-no complimentary water
-no body soap
RRobert_TaiThe dom room with bathroom and toilet was well cleaned. Great location, just next to Hot Springs.
You can get filtered water free of charge from the bar.
However WiFi network was not stable, very slow.
Overall, pretty good for a hostel
MMoralesLocation was the best. However, nobody controls the level of noise of guests in the halls and any noise from outside comes into the room quite easily.
GGuest UserI booked the day before my stay, but the price was reasonable and good.
There was a rooftop and I could go to see the starry sky at night.
The male staff spoke English and answered questions such as the Collectivo platform politely, so I was able to travel smoothly after checking out.
The shower was a little wet.
GGuest UserTodo perfecto ! Me encantó el servicio del dueño del hotel me ayudó bastante en todo Super amable la verdad se portó conmigo. El desayuno estaba muy rico también y la cama muy cómoda. Excelente precio calidad
