The room was great, and there were so many good restaurants nearby. The transportation was super convenient. I really loved it and would definitely stay here again next time. It's so easy to get to Mount Fuji and Disneyland from Shinjuku. Plus, there are several convenience stores and a McDonald's right next door. Loved it!

Always a good idea to stay in Kayabacho. This hotel is on exit 7 of Kayabacho station (2 mins walk) Transport: You will have access to the Tozei and Hibiya line (Metro) Tokyo station is walkable as well. Nearby: Yoshinoya, Sukiya and Saizeriya. Lots of other restaurants but these are our go to. Check in is at 3pm. They do keep your bag if you come earlier and store it up to 10pm on day of check out. Breakfast is with the Pronto cafe linked to the hotel, not big breakfast but can get 2 cups of coffee.

This is a brand new hotel. I stayed in a standard twin room, which at 26.5 square meters, is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was particularly comfortable. To get here, exit JR Yokohama Station from the North-West Exit. Take the elevator on your right up to the pedestrian bridge, walk about 30 meters, then take another elevator up one more level. Walk about 10 meters forward, and the entrance is on your left. Staying near Yokohama Station is great because it's a bustling commercial area with large department stores like Takashimaya and SOGO, and plenty of dining options. More importantly, transportation is incredibly convenient. You can take the JR Keikyu Line directly from Haneda Airport, and you'll arrive at Yokohama Station in just 20 minutes. The bus terminal is located next to Sogo Department Store at the East Exit of Yokohama Station, offering many bus routes for getting around. The Sankei-en Garden in Yokohama is breathtaking; you can reach it by taking a municipal bus (the green bus) from Exit 2 here. All in all, if you're visiting Yokohama, choosing this hotel is definitely worth it. I hope this information is helpful for independent travelers.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from the subway. There are plenty of dining options nearby, a 24-hour supermarket, and 7-Elevens are everywhere. The front desk staff, both young men and women, are very nice. They have a microphone that can translate various languages on the fly, which is very smart. Check-in and check-out are both self-service, quick and convenient. There's a magnetic sticker on the inside of the room door. If you want housekeeping, you just put up the blue sticker. If not, cleaning is done every three days. Small room amenities are available for self-service on the first floor as needed. The room is indeed a bit small, but this is Tokyo, so you can't be too picky. I'd likely choose this hotel again next time I visit.

I had a really satisfying stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Roppongi, and honestly, the location alone makes it a winner. It’s just a short walk from the station, which made getting around Tokyo super easy and stress-free. What I loved most is how convenient everything is. You’re right in the heart of Roppongi, so nightlife is literally at your doorstep. Popular spots like Mezzo Tokyo, V2 Tokyo, and R3 Club Lounge are all nearby—perfect if you want to go out without worrying about long commutes back. There’s also a convenience store just about 3 minutes away, which came in handy for quick snacks, drinks, or anything I forgot to bring. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. It’s not overly fancy, but it definitely delivers where it matters—comfort, cleanliness, and unbeatable location. Overall, I was really satisfied and would absolutely stay here again, especially if I want a place that’s convenient, accessible, and right in the middle of the action.

This feels like a typical Japanese home, and it's super close to the Kamo River. If you want to experience what it's like to live in a Japanese rental, I highly recommend it. It has a kitchen where you can cook, and the surrounding area has a strong local vibe. In the mornings, you can hear bicycles and residents greeting each other on the street – it's a very immersive experience. On the downside, the room uses a key code lock. However, the hotel sent the code after we had already arrived in Japan, and since we didn't have a laptop or email access, we couldn't see it. This led to us having to call customer service late at night to get the code. (There were no staff members at the guesthouse itself.) I suggest including the key code directly on the Ctrip order next time. Thanks.

Stayed here for an exhibition and it was incredibly convenient. The only downside is that the price was much higher than usual during the exhibition period. There's a direct train line to Shibuya and Shinjuku, which was great as I didn't have to transfer. The hotel's surroundings are quiet and close to a university, making for a comfortable stay. There's a supermarket about 800 meters away, perfect for grabbing food, and on the second floor of the supermarket, there's a drugstore that's quite affordable and never crowded, which I really liked. The hotel provides a very comprehensive set of amenities, including toiletries, facial masks, makeup remover, and skincare products, all of which were excellent.

A great hotel in the Ginza area. It is within walking distance of several train stations, making it easy to get around Tokyo. There are also convenience stores nearby, which was very convenient during my stay. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Stayed for 3 nights during my trip to Tokyo.

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo Kanda

The room had everything I needed. And the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a laundry area, so I was able to wash and dry clothes. There was also a microwave in the lounge room, which came in handy on days I didn’t want to eat out. There are a few convenience stores close by, with a 7-eleven next door. It was really easy to walk to the metro lines and Kanda station was well linked to the rest of the city. The area was quiet at night, which I liked after a busy day.

Stayed here for a BP concert tour. It's a bit of a walk from the Yamanote Line station, and the closer station isn't very convenient. There aren't many distinctive restaurants around the hotel, so we ended up going to Torikizoku. It's quiet, though, with no street noise.

Facilities: Relatively new, but the room is quite small. You can fit two suitcases, though. Hygiene: Clean. Service: The self-service machine is simple and convenient to use. Environment: Very quiet 🤫 in a residential area. It's about a 6-minute walk from the subway station to the hotel. On the way: Suitcase maneuverability (4/5)

The staff at the hotel were very friendly! They help you with luggage storage on the day you check in and check out. Hotel facilities were decent with laundry machine and vending machine. There is a Family Mart connected to the hotel if you need food at any time. This hotel is a great choice if you want to be close to Ginza and the waterfront area but don't want to pay a premium for the more western hotel brands.

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite a Chiyoda Line subway station, with several convenience stores, restaurants, and a gym nearby. The TBS television building, which is quite beautiful, is also close by, making the area both convenient and quiet. The hotel staff were very helpful, assisting me with restaurant reservations. While the facilities aren't the newest, they are very clean.
