Highly satisfied. It was very quiet, and the location made it convenient to get anywhere. Senso-ji Temple is within walking distance, and subway access is also very easy. The staff were incredibly friendly. Despite being quite busy, it remained peaceful with no disturbance from other guests.

Great value for money. Excellent location with several train stations within walking distance. Not too far from the city center, but at the same time, a quiet neighborhood that we were glad to go back to after a day in the hustle and bustle of touristic spots. Combinis, supermarkets, cafes and a shopping mall within walking distance. The room is small but has everything one needs, good for those who explore the city all day and come to the hotel only to sleep, like we did. Would definitely consider it for my next stay in Tokyo

GGuest User 2025.12.06
Their location was rather excellent, walking distance to the Sunshine Ikebukuro, which is in turn near to the entertainment part of the city as well with arcades, restaurants, etc. Cleanliness is alright for me, but for people who are expecting ultra clean sheets and tiles should rethink before booking. Although may be a plus for smokers since they do have rooms specified for smokers. Service was good, the receptionists and staffs were very helpful and assisted me if I have any questions. For international travelers, they do speak decent English and could understand my requests . However, they do have some rules which they outline to you during check-ins (no daily room cleaning - some fee applicable if requested , towel needs to be dropped in laundry room if you want to request new ones etc.) Facilities are quite nice. They have a laundry room, free toiletries near the front desk, vending machines, rooms got a small electric stove to do some light cooking with a kitchen sink as well. Overall i am satisfied with the services and rooms, but I am a solo/business traveler for just a week, so my view might be different from others who expected more from a hotel. Happy to return back to this hotel branch is stars aligned in the future.

The hotel was very close to Kamata station and had many convention stores, coffee shops, pharmacies, department stores and restaurants nearby. While it is about a 30 minute train ride to the city area, we chose this hotel as it was near our concert venue. The room itself was well kept and surprisingly big for 2 people. There was also a vending machine, water dispenser and microwave on the 5th floor which was really convenient for our dinner. Overall I would recommend if you're looking for a cheaper place and don't mind the extra travelling time.

Located not to far from nippori bus and train station, there is skyliner train from and to Narita airport, walking around there are convenient stores and 24 hours small restaurant, room is clean and provide with refrigerator, microwave and induction stove, no cleaning service during your stay but you can take clean towel and amenities down stairs, easy to check in and just drop your room card to check out, employees could speak proper English, definitely will stay again if one day have a chance to visit Tokyo

Hotel MYSTAYS Ueno Iriyaguchi is a practical accommodation option in the Ueno/Asakusa area of Tokyo, perfect for travelers who prioritize convenient transportation and good value for money. Excellent Location: Within a 10-minute walk, you can reach JR Ueno Station and Inaricho Subway Station. It's also very convenient to get to attractions like Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Skytree. There are numerous convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making daily life easy. Attentive Service: The front desk offers Chinese-speaking staff who are friendly and helpful. They support 24-hour check-in and luggage storage, and some room types allow for early check-in, catering to visitors' needs. Room Facilities: Although it's an older building (renovated in 2014), the rooms are tidy and fully functional. Some room types come with a kitchenette, balcony, and storage space, making them suitable for families or long-stay guests. The bedding and bathroom amenities are consistently good quality, and some rooms feature thoughtful details like air purifiers. Outstanding Value for Money: The price is reasonable for central Tokyo. Combined with its convenient transportation and accessibility to amenities, it's ideal for budget-conscious travelers. Things to Note: Some rooms might have a slight odor and the facilities may seem a bit dated, but this has a minimal impact on the overall experience. Overall, Hotel MYSTAYS Ueno Iriyaguchi is a reliable choice for a trip to Tokyo, especially for travelers who value practicality and convenience.

The hotel looks great from the outside, very new. I stayed in the main building, which was decent, and the room was acceptable. I heard the garden building is not good and very old, so be careful if you choose it! The hot springs are really nice, but they are incredibly crowded no matter what time you go. Maybe it was because it was during Christmas. However, I got an infection after soaking in them :( Perhaps it's a personal health issue? I won't comment much on that. Overall, it's okay for a brief layover. The restaurant next to the hot springs is very good. There's also a convenient supermarket downstairs in the lobby. The airport bus to the hotel runs twice an hour. It picks up at Platform 16 for T1 and Platform 26 for T2, which is very convenient.

Overall, I'm very satisfied! We booked last minute, and for around 600+ yen a night, it was a great deal. They have a 24-hour front desk, DHC toiletries, and it's close to Inaricho subway station. Honestly, getting anywhere in Tokyo by subway feels convenient. The room was indeed small, quite narrow, and the space utilization was low. The bed was on the softer side. There's no laundry room, so we had to go out to find a coin-operated one. The closest one seemed to be open from 7 AM to 10 PM, so we ended up walking about 400 meters to do our laundry. There was no air conditioning, and in November, they only had central heating, which was way too warm for me! It wasn't until the third day that I remembered to open the window for some ventilation and cooler air.

First of all, I have to say this hotel's location is a banger! There are two train stations nearby, and there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. There's even a great barber shop just a few minutes' walk away. FamilyMart, 7-Eleven, and Lawson are all over the area, and there's 1 Lawson literally attached to the hotel, making it a great experience! Secondly, we chose a Standard Semi Double Room for 4 people, and as you can see in the pictures, it was a very smart choice. It's a small room, but it's really enough and more, for one person. Lastly, the facilities in the room are a bit old (the toilet and bath) compared to what you might be used to, but everything still works smoothly (great value for money, I guess)!

The hotel location is amazing because it’s super close to the Nippori south exit (with stairs leading to the 1/F) and north exit (with both escalator & elevators leading to the 1/F). There are familymarts, 7-11 and supermarket nearby with just walkable distance. The breakfast was so good as the restaurant provided a large variety of food choice. The pillow was also of good quality which made us sleep so well. The only thing to advise is that the hair dryer was quite weak which might take around 10 minutes for ladies to dry up their hair. It’s advisable for customers to bring their own hair dryer.

GGuest UserGreat hotel in a great location. You can walk to both JR and tokyo metro within 10 minutes. The area around the hotel is full of convenient stores, restaurant, and supermarket. There is also a Donki mall nearby as well. Even though the room is a bit small but it is compact and comfy. Microwave and chopsticks are available in the lobby. You can also lend a variety of items from the lobby too. You can also store your luggage at the hotel after you checked out. Overall great experience staying here!

茶仔吃吃吃The room is comfortable and the breakfast is rich and delicious. Overall it's good. It would be better if it could be closer to the station 😁 There are extra lotions and toiletries on the first floor of the hotel that you can take freely, and there are also ones just for children, which is surprisingly considerate.

EEileen DTThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Kuramae Station, making it easy to get to Senso-ji Temple, Ueno, or Tokyo Station. The surrounding area is very quiet, with convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The rooms are capsule-style, but the space is larger than a typical capsule hotel, offering excellent privacy, and there are lockers for luggage. The communal bathrooms and wash areas are clean, tidy, and well-equipped with amenities. The staff are friendly and can communicate in simple English. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with excellent value for money, highly recommended for solo travelers or those traveling light.

MM41661****The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. Although it's in the bustling Shinjuku area, the hotel is tucked away in an alley, so the rooms are very quiet. The first night we stayed in a twin room, it felt a bit cramped, making it difficult to open our suitcases. After climbing Mount Fuji, we returned on the third day and spoke with the front desk to switch to a slightly larger twin room, which offered a bit more space. A great plus for this hotel is that all staff speak English, and some even speak Chinese, so there were no communication issues. I'd recommend this hotel for weekdays as it offers great value for money, but if you book on weekends or holidays, the price can increase by about 50%.

There are plenty of charging ports, and even charging cables are provided. The pillows are very comfortable. On the first floor, there are laundry facilities (washers and dryers) and a wide selection of complimentary amenities available for guests to pick up. **Cleanliness:** The cleanliness was excellent. **Location:** It's within a 10-minute walk of multiple subway stations. There are restaurants nearby, and a convenience store right downstairs. **Service:** The service was professional, and the front desk staff speak excellent English.
