Ticonderoga beach is about two miles away, and mossy point boat launch is about 2 miles away and is free to launch and recover your boat. Cooks mountain trail is across the street for family fun. The lake is great for fishing and boating. The house is located near town so everything from food to gas is very convenient yet you are far enough away to feel like you are in the Adirondack park.
