"We visited this property after being there 20 years ago. Still a fab property. Staff exceptional. Place requires a lot of repairs and I am sure they are on to it. The only thing we were very upset was - about our drivers accommodation and food. A GRT run property DOES NOT provide food or not even a cup of tea. The accommodation provided had serious issues with mosquitos so our driver slept in the car. The location of the property was away from shops and other accommodation so to have a cup of coffee our driver had to drive a fair distance. I escalated this to the ***agement mid way of our stay - of course the answer was we will do it sir - but absolutely nothing happened. We plan to be back again as we like the place. But if this is not improved we will reluctantly look for alternatives. "

"The hotel is very nice with most of the facilities like parking space, good ac, bed, all the bathroom kits were available. Cleanliness and hygiene was maintained. We could make our bed time tea in the room itself. Also it had a swimming pool in case u want to have fun with your friends. We had lunch dinner and breakfast in the hotel itself. Overall it was a nice stay. The hotel is near to palace, bird sanctuary and temple. So i will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Already submitted on the app thanks"

"I have stayed at this hotel a few years back and was impressed by their professionalism and quality of the hotel. Now both are lacking. Ok entry we were told strictly and almost rudely that no guests are allowed in to the rooms. We had no intention of bringing in guests! the rooms were good and clean. Breakfast used to be an impressive buffet spread now there were very few items. What was served was indeed tasty. Overall the value for the amount paid is not seen in the stay experience!"

GGuest UserWonderful experience. An excellent hotel not very far from the city centre. Very helpful front desk people, excellent rooms and amenities make this hotel a very comfortable stay. Breakfast can improve a little more. We took lunch here. Hotel staff recommended south indian veg thali. It was very good too! If I come back to Kumbakonam, I will stay here.

GGuest UserAlthough the hotel is quite old but the service and rooms are good . Recently renovated and some more going on. the rooms are quite big bathrooms are fresh no complaints at all . Amenities provided in the bathroom, kettle and water jug available. In room dining includes veg and non veg options with good portion quantity and good taste. Complimentary breakfast is not as good but sufficient. I loved the feel of the hotel , walkable distance to the temple and excellent service. special mention for ms shanti as she looked after the special request for my two year old baby and obliged. thank u

GGuest UserStaffs are good. Environment is good. Rooms are neatly maintained. On a down side, bathroom needs to be properly maintained. Perks like tooth brush, tooth paste and shampoo were missing. Moreover didn't change the towel for next day.

WWei SanThe cleanliness, amenities and service was generally satisfactory. The WiFi is strong but toiletries such as toothbrush and toothpaste as well as toilet rolls are not provided. We booked a suite with 2 double beds but upon arrival was told that our booking was not received and they don’t have a room with 2 double beds. So information found in trip.com and the hotel does not tally. It will be good if the system updates the room types that are truly available. Overall, the stay was comfortable, despite some issues during check in.
