"Beautiful hotel located a few kilometers from Kao Lak resort. The hotel is 5 spacious, comfortable bungalows located in a well-maintained secluded area on the bank of a small river.Peace and quiet! To the beach and big stores it is far away on foot, you need a motorcycle to get there without any problems. But this is just our theme: privacy and motorcycle! You can go not only to the nearest beach, but also to the beaches of Kao Lak, walk the streets of the resort, visit the national park with waterfalls ... The design of the bungalows is a separate story. Each item of the interior is made by individual project and by our own hands. Our lodge was Mickey Mouse themed. Perfect cleanliness! Delicious and beautiful breakfast served on the terrace. And the most touching thing is the owners of this hotel, friendly, caring, involved. The impression that we came to visit relatives. "Our stay was such a blast that we decided to come back in the end of our trip. Everything is just perfect, starting from the gorgeous staff to the modern, luxurious rooms and the delicious food. "The hotel consists of two buildings. The one closer to the sea is older. The furniture is tired, the room is a bit dark. Across the road - newer. Rooms with access and views of the pool. Everything is fine! Very good breakfasts. The sea is nearby. Several swimming pools. One of the minuses is that very few rooms have stairs to the pool. We did not have. It is inconvenient to get out of the pool, you can slip. The pillows are very high and hard. I never found one that was comfortable for me, although there are four of them. There is very little gel and shampoo in the bath (one small bottle is poured upon request). There is no hair conditioner. One small soap."

"Our stay at Merlin Khao Lak was pretty great. We had a week there, and sincerely enjoyed the feeling of staying in a contained and nicely taken care of rain forest by the beach. The location was nearly perfect, but the beach itself wasn't very swimmable (beginning of rain season, to be fair). Fortunately, there were other beaches on the same coast that were nicer during the same time of year, so we did get time in the sea water. Even without sea swimming, the ambience from the waves and the sunsets made the beach plenty nice for us at Merlin. There is also a variety of nicepy kept pools to enjoy, though I typically don't enjoy pools personally. Service/food were both nice as well. The staff was pleasant enough, but it did feel weird that an ecologically minded resort had the least meat/dairy alternatives of any of the several resorts/hotels we stayed at. I found ordering curries with no seafood or meat simple though, and they were mostly still good. The massaman curry was a miss, but everything else I tried was quite good for resort food! We really loved the touch of the room's default tv channel being an info channel about the resort's wildlife and maintenance. That, plus the several info booklets allowed us to have a more guided and knowledgeable experience while sightseeing on the exceptional grounds. It was really fun running into others who were also just having a look around and waiting to see a different animal pop up. We enjoyed our stay. Next time we'd likely come back, while also spending some time up the coast a bit."

"The room is big and clean, and the children's facilities are very good. The children don't want to go back after going there. The restaurant is right by the sea, very rich and fresh, and the key point is the cost-effectiveness, it's too cheap 😃"

"I stayed at Eden with my family for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our experience at Eden! The staff including Noom, Pure, Frank, Bee, and Nan were extremely helpful and kind. They made our experience even better! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Best rooms we stayed on our entire trip! We loved the pool, it was super clean and overlooks the beach. The food and drinks were great. We enjoyed that there were two happy hours! Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel as it is on a more private beach but only a 10 minute drive from Khao Lak town."

"It's very good accomodation butnot far away from Taplamu pier. If you have your own transport is good.. If not it's a little difficult with taxi: grab, bolt and indrive is not working there. But you can ask the staffs to help to call taxi but before more than 20-30 minutes. The room condition are very good: good AC , comfortable mattress, hot water, drinking water, even fridge and TV."
