Outstanding
AAlnoorThis hotel is right in the centre of town and close to everything with many restaurants and coffee bars. The parking lot is across the square. The room is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Although the hotel does not offer breakfast, coffee and juice is available 24 hours a day. When checking out they provided a bag of pastries and water. We would definitely return.
Yyuyu23The hotel is very new and in a good location. We booked a suite. There is a sofa bed and a large bed. The hotel has a small balcony with a sea view, and there are swimming pools on the top and first floors. From the hotel, you can see the ruins of the circus and the ruins of the ancient Roman Colosseum. It is not far to the beach, and there are supermarkets and dining blocks next to it. There is a paid parking lot.
The hotel's front desk lady didn't smile. The experience was not particularly good, but the male waiters were pretty good, with warm service and smiles on their faces. When I went there, it was the Spanish quarter-final game. The square next to it was full of people, and the atmosphere was particularly good
FFengzhiguBLThis hotel is quite comfortable for a day transition in Tarragona. The hotel said that parking is charged, but in fact there is a large parking lot across the road, which is cheap and better option. The room was clean and good, but the overall service was generally the same, and the English level was OK to communicate. The transition day is good, the supermarket can find a small one in 5 minutes, and it is enough.
MMary from EarthGreat hotel, we were really impressed. I was waiting much less for this price.
So location is very nice (if you’re traveling from Barcelona then I recommend you to consider to travel on a bus as the bus station in Salou is just 3 mins walk from a hotel, very convenient)
We loved the breakfast with a view and kind administrator who helped us to call a taxi.
Cleanliness is nice!
The only minus was there was no water when we arrived at 11pm: either in a room or a possibility to buy that.
But other then that — really recommend you that place!
MMarc GaldonFerrerLocated in a historical building in the old town of Altafulla, Hotel Gran Claustre is a peaceful stay in this busy tourist location.
Plenty of historical sights to enjoy around it.
Rooms are clean, even though could do with a new hand of painting and more attention to details: like the shower which made a mess every time because it is not fully closed, so some water makes it out and floods the bathroom floor.
There is parking space for cars, right in front of the hotel but they charge 6€ per day even for hotel guests, however drive a few minutes further up and there is plenty of free spots.
Swimming pool is nice, boutique style, not big but well taken care of and picturesque.
GGuest UserFirst time in this part of Spain. Found this hotel by chance on trip.com and everything turned out well. Little known to Asian tourist since we were the only ones there but encourage Asians to visit. Discovered this very family friendly resort in a great location with nice beaches and nature in the surrounding nature reserve. For kids, no need to leave the resort, fun just staying there. For more adventures discover the many beaches lining the coast and the wetlands further beyond.
MMarc GaldonFerrerGreat option to stay if you want to visit Port Aventura amusement park.
Staying for the night at the hotel will grant you access to the park on both days, the check-in and the check-out.
Rooms are clean and comfortable, for a good rest after spending the day at the park.
The swimming pool is also amazing, big and beautiful, it is an adventure in itself.
Only issue is the service: you can feel that the staff do their best, however during peak season, they are so busy that for sure you will have to line up in order to get anything done. They are moving ahead and making moves for automatic self-service processes: like self- check out, but still is not enough. You gotta then have some patience and wait until your turn comes.
GGuest UserAll was clean and well. The breakfast was excellent. The staff too. The wifi doesn’t arrive to our room 415. A lot of noise between 11AM -1PM and between 4PM - 8PM due the activities people do in the pool with high music and people talking on a microphone. If you want a quiet hotel, this is not your place. Is a good place to ho with friends, and dance zumba, bachata, aerobic and this kind of things
GGuest UserThe hotel needs an urgent reform.
Breakfast buffet with very low quality products.
The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable.
Good attention in reception.
During breakfast, staff is not available.
Room with very old furniture.
