Best Taoyuan Hotels

"My husband and I stayed at Taoyuan City Suites and overall, we had a great experience. Since I had almost 30kg of baggage, we decided to take a taxi from Taoyuan Airport Terminal 1 instead of taking the train. The ride was quick and convenient, costing only NT$180, which was worth it considering the heavy luggage. Check-in was smooth and fast. However, I think it would be even better if the reception staff could be a little warmer and more welcoming with smiles to make guests feel more comfortable. That said, they communicate well in English, which made the whole process hassle-free. For dining, since there aren’t many food options around the area, my husband and I decided to avail of their buffet dinner, which runs from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM. The food was delicious and definitely worth it! Special thanks to the Filipina staff who assisted us — she was very accommodating and always smiling. We really appreciate how smart and attentive she was. At first, she spoke to us professionally in English, matching the language we used, but she quickly sensed we were Filipinos and made us feel very welcome. Ate, if you’re reading this — thank you so much, and we hope to see you again when we come back! The hotel accepts credit card payments for accommodations, but if you book a taxi through them, you’ll need to pay the driver in cash (NT$200). It’s convenient since they also help arrange transportation for guests. Since the hotel is only about 10 minutes away from the airport, you can expect to hear some airplane noise. However, during our stay, my husband and I didn’t have any trouble sleeping and weren’t disturbed by the sound at all. Overall, we had a comfortable and satisfying stay at Taoyuan City Suites. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers with early flights since it’s close to Taoyuan Airport. We’ll definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing, and accessible place near the airport."

"Although it is a little far from the MRT station, the hotel has a car dealership for us to call a car, so that we feel very convenient for flying very early, and the service is very good. In the middle of the night, I am not afraid of being hungry. There is instant noodles downstairs, or other small snacks to eat. The only small suggestion is that you can put a foot pad outside the bathroom!"

"Because I work in the north, the environment and space are very comfortable. Snacks and bread are also provided. The overall accommodation experience is warm and comfortable. The self-service check-in is very convenient for us on business trips. We don’t have to worry about arriving too late and no staff. It is very convenient to check in by ourselves. There are also flat parking spaces, which is very convenient. However, if you are sensitive to sound, you have to consider this a little bit (the owner of the homestay also provides earplugs in the room, which is very considerate)"

"A Comfortable Stay with Great Amenities – But Beware the Mosquitoes We stayed at this relatively new hotel and were impressed with its modern facilities. One of the highlights for us was the 24/7 business centre, which offers complimentary refreshments like soft drinks, tea, chips, and crackers. My son absolutely loved it—it felt like our own little secret spot to unwind after a long day exploring. The location is excellent. There’s a supermarket right across the street and a mall next door with plenty of dining options, a cinema, and more. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle bus service that connects to the HSR station for easy access to Taipei. The included breakfast was quite good, and since there aren’t many nearby breakfast options, it was definitely a plus. The staff were generally friendly—maybe not quite at a five-star level, but still pleasant and helpful overall. However, the major downside was the mosquito problem. When we checked into our room, we found more than 20 mosquitoes in the room, and they were also present in common areas like the lobby, restaurant, hallways, and business centre. Unfortunately, my son, who is allergic to mosquito bites, was bitten and had a very painful reaction. This was a big disappointment, especially since we weren’t expecting such an issue indoors. We stayed from late May to early June, so perhaps it was seasonal—but we do feel the hotel should take more proactive measures, especially housekeeping, to address this. Despite the mosquito issue, I would still recommend this hotel for a stay in Taoyuan, especially for its location and overall value—just be sure to pack insect repellent if you're visiting during mosquito season!"

"The exterior is unassuming. You must keep a lookout for the signboard when in the vicinity. However, once you reach the check-in counter at level 6, it feels like you've been teleported to a different world. It's clean and modern. The electrical plugs are international. So, no adapters required on our end. I will come back again because it is within 5 min walking distance to Taoyuan train station. The HSR station."

"We enjoyed our stay even for a while. The staffs are friendly and accommodating, they can speak in english which is favorable for us. The room is clean and organized. It’s been raining the whole time yet we are still able to go outside the city proper just because the location is very mych accessible. We did enjoy soaking ul in the pool at night too. The night market is just a few meters away and we went there for some foodtrip. If have the chance we will definitely come back."

"My flight was affected by a typhoon, so I decided to stay at a hotel close to the airport. Both the ambiance and the service were excellent. In the ground floor lobby, they offered meal vouchers for snacks, and I received a complimentary burrito which was really delicious. The breakfast the next morning was also very generous and offered a great variety. The gym was small but very clean; although the equipment was limited, it was perfectly adequate for a short stay. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit."

"the hotel is suitable if you have a quick escape and group of family the room is big and clean the receptionist are kind and can speak english they are always smilling,if you are planning to bring a toddler it is highly recommended they can run inside the room because of the bigger space. ,thats why I book twice after I tried another hotel I decide to come back in this hotel not pricey but it wont cost you that much I like the hotel!just bring food or snacks"
