The hotel is in a great location in the Old Quarters with everything just a walking distance away. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. It’s a newly renovated hotel so everything was new and clean. Some work is still ongoing but not enough to be a bother. Special mention to Patrick who gave us a list of places to go to and was helpful with any questions we had.

My God. The Capella Hanoi is the finest city hotel experience that I have enjoyed thus far. It really blows other 'high end' hotels out of the water completely. The level of service rivals that of other five star establishments in Bali (which I can personally say has some of the best hospitality standards globally). The staff were all so kind, genuine and knowledgeable. They all gave excellent recommendations for off-site activities and dining, although honestly, next time I'll just stay put in the hotel all day because of what's on offer in-house! The main point of difference that very few hotels are doing is their daily ”rituals”, think complimentary cocktails and snacks during happy hour every day, plus champagne breakfasts with Tattinger, – no “sparkling wine” here – and a lavish spread of the best Vietnamese food we had during our stay in the city (the breakfast beef pho is a must try), along with oysters and steak. Mind blowing. The hotel itself is a feast for the eyes: drawing inspiration from the 1920s art-deco scene of the nearby Hanoi Opera. Our suite was just stunning, easily one of the most impeccably designed rooms I've ever stayed in. Even the corners of the walls were designed in art deco fashion, and antique props are on display around the room. You really can't say very many other hotels employ this level of detail. Coming from someone who lives in and experiences the high standards of Balinese hospitality, (I’ve also stayed at the Capella Ubud), the service at Capella Hanoi was nothing short of phenomenal. The staff were so lovely and so genuine. It's simply put a top-notch place with outstanding facilities, incredible service, and stellar management – I genuinely can’t recommend it enough.

Absolutely amazing experience! The hotel is in a sky scraper from where you can see all of Hanoi. I was there during the ***** new year celebrations and one of the best locations to view the firworks was the hotel's lobby and restraunt. The hotel also organized lion dance for ***** new year. The breakfast is also really good with loads and loads of cuisine options. Also try the pecan pie at the cafe, it is absolutely delicious. The best part however is the hospitality team. Kudos to them for making me and my girlfriend feel fully taken care of. Their attention to detail to each guest's plans is immaculate. It was ***** new year night and we could not find a grab as there were none available and we had a train to catch. The staff knew where we were headed as they also helped us book. They had already ordered a cab for us as we were getting late. The team made our stay delightful and I will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mövenpick Hotel Hanoi and the customer experience was wonderful from end-to-end. Upon reaching the hotel we were warmly greeted by the reception team who had some welcome drinks and seamlessly checked us in. we enjoyed the view and our drinks from the Infinity bar. The reception staff looked after us well during our stay with exchanging currency for us. We would particularly like to recognise the concierge Huyen Tran who was truly remarkable with her customer service to us during our stay. She provided us with a wealth of information, guidance and handy tips for our stay in Hanoi. She gave us the timetable for Train Street and the recommended bar/restaurant to get a great view, recommended a number of shops where I could find a particular t-shirt that I was after, helped us with multiple currency exchanges, found my wife’s lost sunglasses that she had left in the ground floor bar and had then returned to our room on top of the mini bar, retrieved my wife’s scarf that she left at the poolside bar and had it waiting for her to collect. She even had bandaids for me to patch up my wound when I had cut my hand. Huyen, thank you so much. You were truly a delight to talk with and are truly an asset to the Accor group. Facilities wise, there was a lovely pool with the really cool Cabana Club bar next to it on level 4. Mangosteen restaurant put out a great breakfast buffet every morning with plenty of local, international and traditional breakfast options in a fine dining setting. Lounge 83 on the ground floor had really comfortable couches and a classy intimate setting playing soothing music in the background. Every day at 5pm they had Chocolate Hour where they put out a chocolate fountain and plenty of sweet treats all for free for hotel guests. The Classic King Room that we stayed in was very clean, well appointed with great amenities. The two most important things about the room were well addressed. First, the bed was so comfortable that we had a good night’s sleep and felt well rested. It was like sleeping on a cloud. Second, the shower had excellent water pressure, regardless of whether you used the traditional shower head or the rain shower (which was my preferred option), was instantly hot and was quite spacious. Feeling clean and feeling well rested are two of the most important aspects in my opinion. Location-wise, the hotel is very conveniently located a few minutes walk from the Old Quarter, about 10 minutes walk from Train Street, 10 minutes from Lake Hoan Kiem, and only 200 metres away from one of the best restaurants in Hanoi which is Quan An Ngon. Every staff member that we interacted with at the hotel was friendly, helpful and a joy to be around. We really enjoyed our time at the Movenpick and look forward to returning there in the future. The service is consistent and professional throughout. It has been, in fact, enhanced since my previous stay during it's opening year. For one, the executive lounge is in full swing, albeit plagued by occasional inconsiderate guests who talk for prolonged periods on their mobile phones or book the meeting room for the purpose of dining with their friends on the pretext of discussing work. The lobby moniterance can be more effective i.e. enforcing orderly conduct and behaviour over rowdy and aggressive mainland Chinese tourists. Devices and voices should be kept to a minimum in public spaces to maintain proper decorum. The hotel ground staff need to be more vigilant in this regard. That said, the service staff are to be highly commended. The Guest Experience Manager, Ms. Hannah, is extremely approachable and knowledgeable. She provided me with valuable tips on places of interests within the city and beyond. She always makes herself available and is often seen interacting passionately with guests around the property. Certainly, the executive lounge staff, Lucas, Kevin, Audrey, Estee, Lynn and Crystal are very attentive and guest-centric. No request is ever overwhelming for them and they portray the executive lounge to a very high standard. I was touched by staff who recognised me though my previous stay was some two years back. Concierge, Mr. Ku, welcomed me warmly with his sincere and genuine hospitality style. The Duty Manager, Mr. Harry, did his best to resolve my room issues and was always following up diligently on my preferences. Front Office staff, Ellen and Anna, who were also present since the opening of the hotel, maintain their friendly and charming dispositions. The lobby bar staff are impressive, with dedicated staff like Duc and Mr. Thang, the outlet manager, who remembered me by name and concocted a special ginger/lemongrass tea when he found out that I had a dry throat. Westlake Pearl Hotel experienced I booked at Westlake Pearl Hotel for me and my friends to stay in Hanoi, Vietnam on one of a booking app/agent. Until the day before my booking date that I knew I booked already, I noticed that I booked wrong date, I saw my wrong booking of June 9-10, instead of July 9-10, 2024. Suddenly I had anxiety, I tried to solve it with the booking agent I used but there is another payment. So I called the Westlake Pearl Hotel, I spoke to one of their staff Tony he helped me to inform his hotel manager and ask for approval, and their manager approved immediately to use my wrong booking date on the date it should be. Im so grateful to all of them. They are polite and accommodating. I also highly recommend their Hotel as it is clean, accessible by grab/car and good for friends and family to stay as it is spacious, you can also cook, reheat food and do laundry as they have complete appliances inside the room with 2 bedrooms. I love their shower gel, shampoo and liquid hand soap it was so fragrant. We also had free breakfast. We felt at home that day/night of our stay there. Once again thank you so much Weatlake Pearl Hotel for accommodating us without hustle.

Amazing experience. The service is superb as you would expect from Sofitel Legend. The facilities are good, the place has a true historical vibe without being a museum of antiques. The breakfast is excellent in terms of local food variety. There are several 5 star hotel options in Hanoi, but seems like Sofitel is the best one you can find. Unfortunately we missed the hotel tour, so will need to come back.

What a lovely hotel. We landed on our first day in Hanoi at this lovely property, just overlooking the lake. Its a nice, calm, quaint area with cafes and restaurants around. The rooms are spacious, best amongst all the other hotels that we stayed in.. The room, bathroom has a luxurious and Victorian kind of feel. The staff at the reception, entrance also at the breakfast restaurant were very helpful. The breakfast is also very nice, lot of variety.. thoughtful to have a little Indian food counter for breakfast. All in all we had a great stay. Thank You.

We really enjoyed staying here. We originally booked another hotel but due to the noise and other issues we had to change it and we’re very glad we chose Fraser Suites. It is located in very convenient location. Supermarkets are in the same building complex, there are numerous coffee shops, bars and restaurants nearby and Old quarter and other tourist sites are quick taxi ride away. There is also a free comfortable shuttle service which we used couple of times. The room was modern, spacious and quiet. We slept really good in a big comfortable king bed. We enjoyed cooking a lot in well equipped kitchen and the washing machine was very useful for our longterm stay. We used a sky lounge on the top floor couple of times. Very nice views and great cocktails!! Due to the weather the infinity pool was not open but it must be really nice when it is warm out. The best part was the very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionists, cleaning stuff, the shuttle drivers, bartenders and waiters, they made our stay very special. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

I stayed for two nights at Club Junior Suite. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room condition and staff service were impeccable. Especially, I was impressed with the service provided by Ms. Oanh, who tried to give the best service to my family. She well understood our needs and arranged everything to make our stay at the hotel comfortable and enjoyable. However, I am slightly disappointed with construction work underway during my stay. I was unable to fully enjoy all the facilities.
