This great hostel is in a great location in the old quarter alongside a busy road. The staff are really good and the check in process is simple and easy. The 6 dorm bed was clean and comfortable and we got some great nights sleeps. There is a bed light, a free locker big enough to store huge backpacks, and a curtain for each bed for privacy. The bathrooms are clean, the showers are hot and powerful, and there is shampoo and shower gel available too. You are also given a free towel at check in. Wi-Fi is great, and there are some relaxing common areas which are great for reading and planning activities etc. Laundry is available at the hostel and they can turn it around in 24 hours (cheapest) or even quicker (pay more). Overall I would absolutely recommend staying here as this hostel really is brilliant.

Really nice hostel for both, people who wanna party and people who don't. I really liked the free walking tour through Hanoi. Huy (one of the staff members) showed us the Hotspots and also some hidden gems of the city. He also told us some interesting facts about the city and its history. My friends and I are happy that we met him, we had a great time at the hostel!

First of all this is my first time stayed in Hostels ever. I booked it because of the reviews abiu social activities etc. I haven't met anyone. In fact people were sitting with headphones on playing on the laptops. Not very social.
Minus:
Cleaning should be improved. It was dirty, the cleaner cleaned bathroom, but not the floor in the room, so heair was everywhere. They don't chamge bedsheets after previous customers as well. No place where to hang the towel, even there is a balcony. The room is much bigger on the photos. In fact it's smaller

Good chef, friendly stuff.
As I said it was my first and the last time in hostels ever. This bed coasts like a normal private room, but you feel uncomfortable with another 3 people, have to wait to visit a bathroom, listen to their snoring, coughing. So I canceled my other prepaid days and moved to another hotel where I can sleep and sh*t when I want.

This is a recently opened accommodation facility for backpackers! Our friendly staff will take care of you! There are plenty of food stalls and cafes in the surrounding area, so you won't have any trouble finding a meal. If you want to travel to the countryside, the staff here will arrange everything for you, including bus tickets, and even provide transportation to and from the bus stop! Cheap accommodations for backpackers can be hit or miss, but this one can be a hit or miss.

This place was very nice to stay at, the room was bigger than most I've stayed at and very clean. Besides that, the staff were very good at English and were super helpful! It was an awesome location too, 200 metres from Kiem Lake, very convenient! Definitely recommend this place!

I had booked five nights stay and I ended up staying also just only and that’s because I arrived at 11pm and had no other choice. I had specifically asked for a female dorm and I was placed in a mixed one. Then the place is absolutely filthy. The bathrooms I have no idea when and if they are being cleaned and the smell is really bad. I had an upper bunk bed and there was no protection not to fall down! All night I had to sleep and keep in mind to stay as closer to the wall as possible! Noise from the street will not let you sleep even with earplugs on. I have no idea why this is a so high rated hostel but I know for sure that the photos are nothings like what you will really find when you visit.

Very friendly people working there. Did stay there for 6 nights. Room top floor no sound from outside good double bed and nice furniture including television and a watercooker. Location just about the opposite of the old town need to cross the river hotel next to the bridge.

I stayed in this friendly place for a month. Polite staff, delicious breakfasts and a very homely atmosphere. Toilets are clean, showers too. The house itself, in which the hostel is located, resembles a French house from Provence. A nice lady at the reception will come to your help at any time of the day, concerning life in the hostel, and will also help you navigate in Hanoi. As I already wrote, the hostel provides delicious breakfasts, which are served every morning in the lobby - breakfasts are very full, so you will not go hungry. Also, upon request, they can prepare lunch or dinner for you, and you can also use the bar. In addition to food and drinks, the hostel provides laundry services, you can rent a bike or bicycle, and you can also order various tours of Hanoi and the suburbs of Hanoi. I was on a tour of Hanoi from the hostel; I was satisfied with everything; I learned more about the city. Overall, the hostel is suitable for both short-term and long-term stays - both the location and the services, as well as the attractive prices. I will recommend it to my friends and acquaintances.

there is only 1 T&B to be shared but you can use also the toilet at the lower/upper level. the toilet have shampoo & bodywash & tissue paper, water supply is okay & the heater. my bed is little bit hard, have pillow & blanket, mosquitoes also have. towel to be rent at 15t. no drinking water, you need to buy for yourself.

SSanshuilaoshidezhouziLocation: 5 stars. The hotel is located in the heart of the new district, just a few steps away from the subway station. This allows me to easily go to major attractions and business districts. Price level: 4 stars. Although the price is a bit high, I think it is totally worth it. Considering the excellent services and facilities provided by the hotel, I think this is a great value for money experience.

The private room we had both times we stayed was more hotel like and still a very reasonable price. The room was Very comfortable and well equipped with fridge, tv and nice bathroom. Great location in the Old Quarter too! Both times we stayed, we had to leave early and Duy was very helpful getting us on the WiFi and helping with our bags and liaising with the representative from the bus when we had to leave. Duy also went beyond the call of duty and carried our bags upstairs for us and recommended good places to go nearby. We liked it so much we came back 1 week later before our flight out!

JJanhaviB11We visited this hotel on November 25, 2019. Comfortable and sound proof. Located on the 3rd floor Terminal 1. Free water bottle and some breakfast available. Good restaurants in the vicinity since we are inside the airport. The toilet is on the same floor and does not have shower option. This place is ideal if you have a connecting flight with a long stopover. They provide a discount coupon for lucky restaurant. We reached the terminal 1 by taking a free shuttle from terminal 2.

TTrip51141111579Spent 5 hours here as my flight from London arrived into Hanoi at 5am and I couldn’t check in at my hotel till 12pm. Cost $57nzd. Brilliant concept. The pod was clean, had fan and aircon. The receptionist was very helpful and spoke some English, the toilets near the pod hotel were very clean and little used. The pod was good as I could go for a walk and leave my luggage locked in the pod. The receptionist even changed some big notes I’d got from the money machine downstairs to smaller denominations (essential for tipping in Vietnam). The hotel is located on level 2, up the escalator, at the far end of that floor. Nb the hotel is landside not airside so you have to get a Vietnam visa to clear immigration. The instructions sent by the hotel say you have to ‘clear security’. OBVIOUSLY this means immigration. The hotel is located landside NOT airside. Anyone with any commonsense can tell this. To enter Vietnam you have to get an online visa and you can find the link to this on the Sherpa travel website. This takes a couple of days to process and is not an arduous task as it’s all done online. So the reviewers who were only transitting Vietnam and booked the hotel and didn’t get the visa, so couldn’t go landslide, to use the pod hotel need to do a little MORE homework before they leave home. Just saying.

GGuest UserThe slippers that were provided for walking around the room was too loud, where it is difficult to be quiet when walking around in them. The husband is also uptight in not letting people eat in the dining area but outside which I can understand and could go along with, because they don't want the guest to leave garbage or get their table dirty, but they need to at least leave a garbage can outside so the guest don't have to leave it on the ground. I didn't like how I couldn't find a place to throw my ice cream wrapper away when I ate it outside and had to end up throwing it in the garbage of another person's place.
I also didn't like the location of how it was out of the city center where it wasn't near any grocery stores or open fruit and vegetable, and meat markets. Just by a bunch of restaurants some being a bunch of aggressive jerks sitting outside waiting for bystanders to walk by where they try to aggressively approach you to get you to eat at their restaurant. I need a place where I can use a kitchen to cook food for myself. I don't need to eat out every day.
These owners are a bit shady at times in that when I did came in early where it was not time for me to check in where I was willing to wait until my room is ready, their son had the nerve to try to make a few bucks off me in that if I pay them a few bucks, I can have my room before the check in time which was a bit tacky. The husband didn't give me very good advice when he told me that staying at this place is good for going into the city center and coming back, which it isn't for me, because I have to take the bus 1 hour and 45 minutes to the city center which is a longways. What lousy advice for my situation like he was trying to convince me to stay longer just so that they can make more money off of me. This was a little tacky too. Good for them, but not good for me.
I also didn't like how they send my clothing to a cleaner when I thought they were going to wash it in their washer and hang it up on their clothesline on their top floor. Not only that, but the cleaners lost my dress pants in the process or probably even stoled it and kept it for themselves and not really telling me the truth. I told them about this and they said that the cleaners who they sent it to didn't know what happen to it. The owners were even trying to try to lie a little bit by saying that I never gave them a dress pants for them to wash which is a bunch of ********.
They could have just let me use their washer where I could have used my own detergent to wash my clothing and hang it up to dry on their clothesline on the rooftop of their place where I would have paid them for it. For all I know these cleaners that they sent my clothing to for them to wash could be their friend and they are trying to help give their friends the business for any of their guests that has laundry for them to use. These cleaners are probably a bunch of thieves for all I know that probably looked through guests clothing for things that are valuable which they take and pretend that they don't know anything about it when the guests inquire of it. This is another shady tactical thing that they are probably doing as well.
I even asked them if they could compensate me which would not have amounted to much which they had refused. They didn't even have the nerve to apologize to me but to only lie to me by telling me ******** that the cleaners who they sent guests clothing to never lose any of their clothing which is a bunch of ********. All of this could have been avoided had they either let me use their washer or they wash it for me in their washer where I would have paid them. Do not trust these people with your clothing!!!!

Not all toilets and showers close.
In my room, the air conditioner was dropping a lot of water, and because it was in front of the door, it was always completely wet. I told the receptionist, and he simply said that he knows. No towel or anything to clean it up.
Oh, and not to forget the internet is awful. I maybe had internet 5% of the time and even then really bad. Most of the time, you couldn't google or anything.
I've been to many hostels, and this is probably the worst of all.

AAnonymous UserThere are many cafes and restaurants near Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Grand Church, and the location is very good. I don't really care if I think I can be there, it's good that the windows are big and open, what I had a hard time was the hostel opposite the displayed place, not on Google Map. When I went to the entrance, there was an old lady about half the floor down, and she called the staff about half the floor up again, and I had a conversation about ”Where are you from?” and I was guided to the room immediately. If you look closely, the hostel name is displayed in front of the entrance, you can hear the sound of the bells echoing from the big church and feel the taste. It was a good stay where you can feel the real thrill of traveling abroad as if you are in a foreign country.

IIwa1608It's 10 seconds walk from the intersection of the Old Quarter, very good to play in the old town. It is necessary to be careful because the hotel signboard remains ”ibiz city hostel” which was the previous hotel name regardless of the famous Marriott hotel. At night, the street on the table is noisy, and the １ floor is more noisy at the bar for foreigners. It is the center of the dormitory, but there is also a family room. However, the family mule is ２ floor ～, so the noise hits directly. No elevator. The employees are very kind, but at night they seemed to be busy at the bar and at the travel agency in the daytime. The family room had a refrigerator and electric pot, but there is no security ＢＯＸ. There is also a set of amenities, but there is no replenishment such as shampoo and no bottled water service. The shower is difficult to adjust, but hot water comes out properly. There is no bathtub. It was breakfast, but there were many delicious shops around, so I didn't use it.
