"Handy hostel near the airport. For international flights, it's very easy to walk to/from, there's a sidewalk along the main road. Big lockers with keys provided. Provided a hand towel and a shower towel and toiletries in the shower. One thing is that they don't take card if you want to buy water or snacks. The best option if you are arriving to Vietnam without cash is to get money out at the airport where there are a couple atms, I couldn't find out about any atms nearer the hostel."

GGan Yung ChyanThis is my third time staying in this Vietnamese capsule hotel. Previously, there was only one free packet of snacks in the room but this time, there are up to 20 kinds of snacks and drinks for sale in the room. I purchased one can of red bean porridge to eat for breakfast and it costs me 50000 Vietnamese Dong. The capsule hotel is located past the flight view cafe and Bamboo Airways Operations Office on the third floor. Other than sleep and using the mobile phone or laptop, the other activity to do that can be done between 6 am and 8 am the next morning is plane-spotting at the flight view area outside the capsule hotel. I am very happy to witness Drukair's launch of charter flight from Hanoi to Paro on 9 November 2025. The Sun PhuQuoc Airways check-in counter can be seen on the third floor immediately outside the capsule hotel. The strategic location of the capsule hotel is of convenience for overnight transit travellers but there are no shower facilities outside the capsule hotel.

GGuest UserThe dorm room felt like a Japanese capsule hotel. The mattress was very comfortable and clean, and fresh towels were provided daily. The staff were kind and attentive, even allowing us to store our luggage for free after check-out. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator.

Nnana773It would have been great if there were restrictions on using the water and hairdryer after 11 PM, especially since they're right next to the bed. The bed was really spacious, about a semi-double size. The lockers under the bed also had locks. It seems like the slow draining in the sink hasn't been fixed in ages. It's a much quieter and calmer area compared to the Old Town.

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at Urban Slumber. The price was very affordable, which made it a great option for budget travelers. I honestly didn’t expect much at first, but I was surprised by how clean the place was. The room and shared areas were well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth. The facilities were simple but sufficient for a short stay. Overall, it offered great value for money. I would definitely recommend Urban Slumber to anyone looking for a cheap but clean and comfortable place to stay.

GGuest UserIt was my first time to experience a youth hostel. The experience of spending New Year's Eve alone was very unique. The hotel is in a unique location, very close to West Lake, and the room is clean, tidy and safe. The owner speaks very good English and is very enthusiastic. Overall, it gave me a great experience. I stayed there for another night after the first day. I still recommend it!

KKhimmy SIt was a great location, though a bit difficult to find since the place name is different from the one listed here. It’s perfect for backpackers, especially since the hostel doesn’t have an elevator. I am not sure about the AC, but it wasn't working that time. Perfect for budget traveler. The receptionist was very helpful. I availed of the airport transfer in the morning, and they picked me up on time.

GGuest UserCan trip.com help this hotel improve when it comes to cleanliness so that no one will be a victim of insects and at least what we paid for is worth it. I cant imagine myself on my stay in this hotel that I jumped out from my bed because the rat pass near my forehead while I was just resting and because of this I was awake until morning. They transfer me to another room but cant still sleep due the noise near my room. They transfer me again for the 3rd room, but I just really survived on my 3rd day because I get tired of telling them. On the third room, there is a fly, ants and other small insects. I dont know how they clean. So traumatic experience with the mouse,in my whole life, first time I experience rat crawling near my forehead and even the rat enjoy big bite on my bread that I place in my bag. Please trip.com,help this hotel improve if possible because I like to book hotels and flights thru trip.com.I was not able to take photos of the rat because of my nervousness that time.

SSofda HdzI noticed almost imperceptible sweat stains on the pillow. The shampoo and shower gel bottles were almost empty. The air conditioning had a musty smell. However, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom was also good. The taxi service was reasonably priced, even cheaper than Grab, but the SIM card was much more expensive than what you could buy in the city. The owner is very friendly.

GGuest UserWhat a cozy place to be or even to nestle oneself, if I put it shortly. Absolutely cool for those who want to see Hanoi but in a local plus rural way because of shops with daily snacks and items within the cost of 5k-10k VND.

GGuest UserI stayed here for three nights in a mixed dorm. The location is pretty good — close to public transport, some cafés, and a few bars. That said, the area gets noisy at night, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The hostel itself is okay. Check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly enough, though they seemed a bit disorganized during busy hours. The common room is small but has a few couches and a TV. It’s a decent place to meet other travelers, but there’s no real social atmosphere unless someone starts something. The beds are basic — thin mattress, clean sheets, but the pillows are flat. Each bed has a reading light and one power outlet, which worked fine. Lockers are available, but bring your own padlock. Cleanliness is average: the dorm was swept daily, but the bathroom floors stayed wet, and the shower drain was slow. Breakfast is simple (bread, jam, instant coffee). Free Wi-Fi works in common areas but not great in the dorms.
