BBennyBenBenStayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

GGuest UserQuite a new hotel, open in Jan 2024. Very Nice and clean in which the designer looks into every little detailing in designing the room. All the staff are very friendly and polite.
I book a room with private pool but upon check in, there is no bathtub in the room. So we request to change room with bathtub, their friendly staff, Nat, show us the room, help to change and upgrade the room for us.
Hotel is near lots of nice restaurants and places of interest. Breakfast food provided is very nice and we enjoy the breakfast very much for 3 days.
They provide activities like pilates, hydro fit exercise in the morning and evening and free ice-cream and 1 For 1 drinks at the poolside.
Overall, a very nice and friendly hotel which we will come back again.

Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for a few nights for our honeymoon and the staff made our experience very special. The room was gorgeous and we had an amazing view of the sea. The resort is huge but they offer buggy services 24/7 which made it very easy to get around. We used the free shuttle service to Chaweng Central which was a very convenient way of getting to town and back. I would say the only downside to this resort was how far away it is from everything but the shuttle service definitely helped with this. Overall I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone looking to have a relaxing time in Koh Samui. We will definitely be back in the future!!

GGuest UserGreat for photos, everywhere is beautiful with very thoughtful design. There are mysterious little trinkets everywhere.
The cliffside restaurant is absolutely stunning, perfect for sunset, though we didn't get one. The male manager there was great to chat with, super friendly and made the experience really enjoyable.
The beaches are numerous and very private, really nice and give a sense of adventure.
Big thumbs up for the pool! Swam for ages, barely anyone there, and it's long and beautiful.
Lots of Chinese guests, haha.
The charming front desk lady was very efficient.
However, the air conditioning was very loud. Even on the lowest setting, it was still very cold and noisy. The balcony design was quite interesting, but it's not a villa.

Initially, we didn’t realize we had booked the wrong room, but Boky kindly upgraded us to an Oceanfront suite. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and offered unforgettable, great view!
We’d also like to express our sincere thanks to the restaurant manager and her team for making our dining experiences truly exceptional. Every meal was beautifully presented, and the service was amazing. Their attention to detail and heartfelt hospitality made each visit memorable and special.

It was the ideal spot to unwind with a book or simply listen to the gentle waves. Our room was a haven of quiet luxury, providing a peaceful retreat after days filled with sunshine.
The facilities are top-tier, but what truly elevates the experience is the staff. Incredibly attentive and genuinely warm, they anticipated our needs with a smile, making us feel truly valued. The resort also masterfully balances relaxation with entertainment. We particularly enjoyed the fun weekly BBQ night on the beach, where a dazzling fire show lit up the palm-fringed sky, complemented by talented live singers who created a magical atmosphere.
Dining was a consistent delight. The sumptuous breakfast buffet offered an astounding variety of international and local dishes, setting us up perfectly for the day. A highlight was arranging a romantic dinner on the beach—an unforgettable experience of exquisite food with sand between our toes.
For a change of pace, a short stroll placed us amidst plenty of local shops and cafes, though the resort’s allure often made it hard to leave. The Royal Mueang Samui is a rare find—a peaceful, luxurious sanctuary that also knows how to have a little fun. We left feeling utterly pampered and are already dreaming of our return.

GGuest UserOur family vacation at Garrya Tongsai was excellent. The staff was very helpful and the service was amazing. Breakfast was very delicious and rich. The kids club made our child very happy. The pools were clean and not crowded, though a smoother floor could be better. Notwithstanding the beach and the seaside could be improved with weeds removed and thinner sand laid.

GGuest UserI’ll start to say that the overall stay was nice, beautiful resort, nice view, well located.
But a few things important to relate, the bed was very hard, mattress uncomfortable, pillows flat, bed sheets old. After 5 nights spent there, both my gf and I suffered from back pain. Then the socket on the bed side table was broken, on our last night, the water stopped when I was right in the middle of showering and the toilets were clogged from time to time. Lastly there was way too much chlorine inside our private pool.
