"This hotel was exactly what we hoped for cozy, luxurious, and worth every penny. Our sea-view room was spotless, bright, and had an amazing view from the terrace. There’s even a semi-private beach, which made the stay even more special. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast didn’t have a huge selection, but everything was delicious. Plus, the location is great- just minutes from Bangrak Pier for easy trips to Koh Phangan and only an 8-minute drive to Fisherman’s Village.

"Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff was fantastic—very attentive and professional. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, and the property itself was stunning, with beautiful landscaping and plenty of areas to relax. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, offering a wide variety of high-quality options.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The beach line is quite narrow, and the sand is relatively coarse, though this seems to be a characteristic of the entire North Coast. Additionally, the rooms are designed in a way that you can hear your neighbors, as they are separated by connecting doors. This can occasionally affect privacy and quietness.
Overall, despite these minor issues, everything else was perfect, and I would still highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay!"

GGuest UserAbsolutely adore this place and my heart is still left at Anantara! First time in Koh Samui and the staff at Anantara made everything like heaven. Stayed here for 5nights and didn’t explore much of the island cuz you can just have fun here for a chilling vacation. Breakfast was absolutely divine and varied everyday. The pool was beautiful right in front of the beach. You MUST try the cocktails they have at the pool bar. Absolute delicious. Also the TREE Top bar has beautifully delicious cocktails. The resort is also quite close by the market and “clubby” area so the location is great as well! I’m sure there are other beautiful and lovely resorts on KS but this place I would definitely want come back to. The villas are so nicely prepped everyday and cleaned well.

JJarredCHIt’s a very nice resort little far up in the mountains up a narrow road quite dodgy in the heavy rains we experienced during our stay. The rooms are great I would of liked to see them give us some toothbrushes. The staff are really kind and helpful. Overall pleasant experience . Incredible view from your room.

From the moment we arrived at Marasca, we knew we were in for something special. The resort is very well-secured at the entrance, giving us peace of mind right away. The front office team was simply superb—friendly, efficient, and attentive in just the right way.
Our porter was quick to assist with our luggage, no fuss, no wait—just seamless service. Although early check-in wasn’t available when we arrived, the hotel’s app made all the difference. Through the app, we could explore the resort, make requests, and track our room status. Eventually, we received a notification that our room was ready—such a convenient system!
The room itself? Immaculate! Spotless and thoughtfully designed with a massive bed, a sparkling clean shower area, a cozy separate seating space, and an automated toilet that lifts the cover for you. No-touch toilet seat? That’s a huge bonus!
We were also greeted with a delightful welcome basket in the room, packed with special drinks, snacks, and even a handwritten postcard by the General Manager. It was such a warm and personal touch—it’s hard not to fall in love with the place instantly.
We did try the spa, and while it’s on the pricier side, the service and facilities were absolutely worth every penny—top-notch from start to finish.
Cabanas, the beach club at Marasca, is another highlight. Ultra-chilled vibes, beautifully designed with lush greenery, comfy furniture, and a view that opens right up to Chaweng Beach. It was the perfect place to unwind.
Breakfast? Impressive. A great mix of Western and Asian dishes, plus a healthy spread of salads, pastries, yogurt, juices, and smoothies. The little touches like free healthy shots in the morning and ice cream in the afternoon truly made our stay even more enjoyable!
Marasca also offers daily activities for guests, so you’ll never run out of things to do.
To sum it all up: this is, hands down, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Huge shoutout to the amazing team—Mo, Tony, Ja, Chet, Jenny, Puppup, Andy, Pui, Golf, and the rest whose names I can’t recall. Your teamwork and hospitality were unforgettable.
We will definitely be coming back. See you again, Marasca!

JJaAei BBeautiful, comfortable accommodation on a private island. In a nice villa with a private swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. The area around the hotel was calm and shady. The beach in front of the school is private. But you can still see the surrounding view and have a delicious breakfast with both A la carte and food lines. The variety of options is good. The wait staff are very helpful and helpful. Long Tai Restaurant has Michelin Selected food with strong flavors. Thai people definitely like it. The view from the restaurant is very good.
Convenient transportation from the airport, not very far distance.

BBennyBenBenStayed for 8 nights at Sala Samui Choengmon Beach Resort. The villa had its own private pool. Very cozy and nice. The breakfast each morning was really nice. There’s a buffet and you also get one a la carte item for breakfast to go with your buffet. So really good. Staff were super friendly and nice. The hotel evening meals were not so good. Nearby restaurants were way better and much better priced. I wished the food was super good for lunch and dinner as it would have been perfect, but unfortunately, the Thai dishes were a bit sub par, over priced and even beers and cocktails were double or triple what you pay elsewhere. Pool staff were friendly and helpful, but I wish the food and drinks at restaurant and bar were reasonably priced so we could have enjoyed it more. Nearby restaurants offer better experience. Mr Eung restaurant nearby had the best food for that area. A short drive to the best restaurant on the island called Supatrra will show you what you wish the resort had. If the manager of the Sala resort went over there and learnt a thing or two about dining then the resort could be greatly improved. Anyway, resort was nice, just the lunch and dinner needs some attention. Good location, clean and tidy. Shower gel and soaps were not the best so had to buy some outside. Don’t forget your mosquito spray. Overall, a nice experience and very relaxing, just wish the food was better. Fun stuff to do nearby, football golf, Thai cooking class, go kart racing, reggae bar, paddle ball courts, tourist shopping at night market, kickboxing show. We hired a scooter, as it’s not really walking distance to anything but a short scooter ride will get you around the island.

ZZ&HMy wife and I chose this hotel to celebrate our anniversary, and looking back, I’m so glad we did. The free and varied water activities, the friendly and patient staff (almost all of whom speak excellent English), and the simple yet delicious food left a lasting impression on me. From start to finish, there was hardly anything to be dissatisfied with.
We stayed for two nights in different types of rooms. On the second night, we stayed in a pool villa. The initial room we were assigned didn't have the view we saw in the website photos, so my wife asked if we could switch rooms. To our surprise, the staff checked briefly and then upgraded us for free to a room with the best sea view we’ve ever seen. I can hardly describe how beautiful the view was with my limited vocabulary. My wife and I both agreed that we will definitely come back, maybe for a week or even a month next time. If you want to quietly enjoy the beach, sea view, and a private pool, choosing this place will not disappoint you.
By the way, I really liked the welcome drink at the beginning and the scented sachet they gave us when we left. The coconut-flavored snacks in the lobby were also very delicious; I would grab one almost every time I passed by.

NNicky IulianaThis is a very nice Resort. The pool area is very nice and comfortable. The swimming pool faces to the apartments is very long so you can enjoy swimming. The gym is very nice, not too many machines, but from good quality. You need to consider for you stay several aspects: the pool area in the middle of the resort comes with an additional costs of minimum consumption which is quite expensive, at the other pool area you don’t have any laying possibilities so you should consider a room with pool access if you plan to often go swimming, the kids club is really just a very small room with some toys just for emergency when the whether is not so well. The beach is very small and not so nice. We would not recommend to stay there with small kids as there is nothing around you can not do so much with the kid. If you plan to travel as a couple definitely a recommendation if you’re flexible to move by grab or scooter. The staff is very very friendly. Not typically Thai friendly, but also very understanding and helpful. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. I think the best breakfast I ate in ages in a hotel and we do travel a lot.

The hotel's cleanliness was impressive, with our room always tidy and well-maintained. Breakfast was a highlight, with a delicious spread of international options. However, the Thai buffet selection was a bit limited and slight disappointment.
The gym and pool facilities were great, providing a perfect spot to relax and stay active during our stay.
Overall, I'd recommend the Hyatt Regency Koh Samui for its excellent service, cleanliness, comfortable rooms and great facilities. Just be prepared for a higher price point.

GGuest UserWe went on our honeymoon, and everything was fantastic and smooth. From check-in to check-out, the staff at Sala ensured we had everything we needed. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with mini macarons, a towelette, and coconut water. The check-in process was exciting, as we could choose our pillow types and room scent. Once we were checked in, the staff prepared a flower bath for us. They also provided an in-house app for easier requests and questions, just a chat away. During our five-day stay, room service would come in around 6 p.m. to check on us, make our bed, and leave us a ”goodnight drink” to help us sleep. They made sure we were well taken care of. The hotel is very conveniently located, with a 24-hour shop just a minute away and within walking distance of the central shopping center. The taxi service was easy, and breakfast was nice, with the option for halal meals (no pork or alcohol served).
