Luxury Hotels in Koh Samui

"All in all, hotel is good. But for this price I recommend you to go to Maldives. Sea is not suitable for swimming, quite dirty and a lot of rocks. Service is quite bad in all restaurants except 2 person: B and, unfortunately, don’t remember a girl’s name who was serving us after check-out in the bar. Also, we were going to next FS property in check out date and wanted a late check-out. How normally it works in real 5* property: you check out around 10 and go to any free villa on island till late check-out (they had free villas that day). And here we needed to wait 2 hours in the bar. Of course, I won’t choose this place again as it’s not you are expected when you know how it normally works in real good property."

"Honestly, everything was perfect, and most of the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our butler, Tak, was also incredibly thoughtful. My only complaint was that on the day we checked in, I wasn't sure if the person who checked us in and took us to our room was our assigned butler. It was a male staff member. I found that the QR code on the room's TV couldn't successfully add the front desk on WhatsApp. This same male staff member answered the phone when I called, saying we could resolve the issue the next morning. It wasn't until our third day that we learned each villa has its own dedicated butler. Later, when we inquired at the front desk, our butler Tak contacted us and explained that the previous butler, named Ming, had finished his shift. It was only then that I managed to add the substitute butler, Tak, on WhatsApp. Tak gave us many suggestions for exploring Koh Samui and provided information about the hotel. Coincidentally, when we checked out, it was the same male staff member who handled it. Our bill actually included a charge that wasn't ours. After I pointed it out, he didn't offer any explanation, just gave me a new bill. He didn't apologize for the error, nor did he explain why this incorrect charge appeared on our bill. The rough service level didn't quite match the hotel's positioning. This was the only part of our entire trip that left me feeling uncomfortable."

"The service was terrible. We were told our room would be changed at 11 AM, and the butler even repeatedly reminded us to be ready by then. We packed our bags on time and waited, but no one came to pick us up. They were completely unpunctual and made us wait for over half an hour in the heat, completely wasting our time. For a price of 10,000 RMB a night, this experience was truly disappointing; we didn't receive the service we paid for. To make matters worse, the complimentary dessert on the first night was covered in tiny bugs, and they didn't even bother to cover it. Just awful."

"I stumbled upon the 'most beautiful Conrad' – truly, 'the Conrad with the most stunning sunsets.' First off, the hotel's airport transfer is super cool; they even greet you with a Conrad-branded coconut! After a winding drive up the mountain, we entered the Conrad's grounds. What greeted us was an incredibly beautiful panoramic view of the sea and sky, along with a magnificent elephant flower wall crafted from bougainvillea. Check-in was completely stress-free, with a Chinese-speaking butler ready to assist. While waiting, you can snap some photos of the breathtaking 270-degree ocean view. Rooms: All room types (except for two- and three-bedroom suites) come with a private pool, and their size and layout are largely similar. The price difference mainly depends on the room's elevation and location. Even the basic rooms offer unparalleled views of the azure sea and sky. I booked a Premium Sea View room for my stay. You can see the specific layout and amenities in the photos. Since it was our wedding anniversary during our visit, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a surprise setup, paying attention to every detail, which added to the romance. The king-size bed faces directly onto the infinity pool and the seamless sea-sky horizon. Waking up to such a beautiful view every morning was amazing! I absolutely loved the hotel's mattress – I wish I could buy it to take home! This hotel offers a private ocean for sunsets. Every evening at sunset, the golden light paints the infinity pool. In that moment, it's hard to tell where the sky ends and the sea begins; you feel completely enveloped by the sunset glow. Hotel Restaurants: The dining options are diverse, so you don't have to worry about not finding something you like – there's always something to suit your taste. Plus, breakfast offers unlimited coconuts! Activities: You can eat, drink, and play right at the hotel. Take a stroll down to the private beach, or book a longtail boat. We opted for a private boat charter, and the captain was incredibly attentive, haha! The entire sea area felt like ours. The beach quality at the hotel is average, with many hidden rocks in the water, so it's not ideal for swimming in the sea. Among the hotel's activities is a visit to their organic farm, where you can interact with some small animals. Other activities include yoga, making herbal compresses, and various water sports. They even gave us a small sea turtle souvenir at check-out."

"The reason why booked this hotel because it is close to the golf course we’d visit pretty much everyday. The first thing my kids mentioned was that the hotel looks older than the previous one we had stayed at and they wanted to go back to that one. However, just after one day, this has become my kids FAVOURITE hotel ever. It all the staff and service~. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, everyone really went out of their way to assist with anything and everything! My son ended up crying the night before and on the day we checked out because he really didn’t want to leave and understandably so! Although some of furniture are a bit worn and dated, everything else compensated for this. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff always remembered our drink orders. Can’t miss the fire show at the bar, that was super fun to watch A shout out to Mak, who would always drive us to and from everywhere around the hotel with always the most upbeat attitude, biggest smile and playing the best jams in his buggy! I guess it’ll be nice if the hotel offered kids amenities such as slippers, toothbrush etc Other than that it was perfect. We enjoyed this trip so much, on the night we arrived back home, we booked our next trip back to this hotel again in Feb of next year!"

"The hotel is amazing, especially the service! Every detail demonstrates how much the staff cares about the guest experience. The hotel even provides an app that allows guests to communicate with staff for various services, such as spa and restaurant bookings, as well as information about hotel amenities. While being close to nature does mean there are some mosquitoes and insects, the hotel thoughtfully provides guests with items like mosquito repellent, coils, and cream for bites. Although the restaurant selection is limited, it’s more than sufficient. Dining on the rock offers an incredible view at the edge of the hill, overlooking the ocean and nearby islands. The other restaurant, Dining on the Hill, has a relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by grass and a pond. I will definitely recommend Six Senses Koh Samui!"

"Just wanted to drop and share my experience about my stay at the Beachfront hotel on private island. Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation."

"Excellent hotel, great location and very quiet for evenings and overnight noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink were a little expensive on site, but local shops and markets around. only 10/15 mins walk to Fishermans market. Over all a great stay! The beach sunbeds were always quiet and didn’t have to fight for sun loungers around the pool either as there are 3 pools and 1 is adult only. The rooms are a very good size plenty of space and very large balconies. The rooms were equipped with everything we could need. The only flaw would be the over head shower wasn’t cleaned of lime scale meaning the holes were blocked up and they weren’t letting out water well. The gardens were beautiful and the walk to the seafront breakfast was something I won’t forget. Very tranquil and peaceful. Another positive was no boats around in the sea and the sea is sectioned off with floaty rope to ensure it is safe and children are safe too. Plenty of on site activities for children and adults."

"Just got back from my May Day holiday trip. I'd read some pretty negative reviews online beforehand, and now that I've been, I'll give my objective take – and yeah, there's definitely stuff to complain about, haha. The hotel's public areas aren't great; there's no real scenery, and the lobby is tiny. What they call a beach isn't really a beach; it's more of a pebble beach, and it hurts to walk on. But, because of the rocks, you can get some nice photos. Overall, the hygiene is just okay. The shower head was full of limescale, and the towels were a mixed bag – some were new, others had frayed edges. The villa does come with two Ritz hats, one for men and one for women. It's pretty absurd that for this price, the minibar isn't complimentary, not even a first-round offering. The staff generally have good service awareness, though a few at the restaurant looked quite glum. The breakfast buffet was a disaster – limited options and not tasty at all. The only silver lining was that my daughter had a lot of fun in the villa's pool, and the view from there was decent. But if I come back to Koh Samui, I definitely won't be choosing this place again. That's about it."

"Ko Samui Hotel Review 🌴 Not great value for money at over 2,000 per night My immediate impression: the overall value for money just isn't there 💸. At over 2,000 baht a night, I think it's mediocre, even though Ko Samui's weather is incredibly comfortable and the climate is very livable. I feel the hotel's pricing is inflated, and I'm not sure why it's always fully booked. First, some objective points: I haven't compared it to other hotels in Ko Samui, so I'm not sure if the general prices are high across the board. Looking at this hotel specifically, it's not brand new; it's moderately aged but well-maintained, which is acceptable. 📍 Location & Environment The location and surrounding environment are flawless. It's quiet and peaceful overall. The private beach has very few people, so you don't have to deal with crowds. If you get up early, you can catch a stunning sunrise over the sea 🌅. After 4 or 5 PM, the temperature drops, and the sea breeze is cool, making it super comfortable for a walk and unwinding. 🏨 Room Accommodation Experience The room is about 40 square meters, so it's not particularly spacious. The biggest drawback is the bathroom's lack of a separate wet and dry area ❌. The bathroom's cleanliness is average, and the shower area isn't very well-maintained. Every time I showered, the entire room would get damp, and there was no dehumidifier. It felt muggy and humid, which really detracted from the experience. I stayed in a garden view room, not a genuine sea view, but the view was still decent, and I could see the sea in the distance. 🍽️ Breakfast & Service The breakfast selection is incredibly rich, with many options. The hotel staff are also very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. ⚠️ But be sure to go early for breakfast; if you go later, it gets very crowded, and the experience directly declines. 🏊 Pool Facilities There are two pools in the complex, very well laid out~ One large pool, perfect for photos and swimming; One small adults-only pool, quiet and suitable for relaxation. 🎁 Hidden Bonus Highlight Complimentary drinks in the room 🥂. The entire minibar is free to use. There's also a daily 'little surprise,' which was the biggest highlight overall. Overall Summary The resort environment and beach atmosphere are fantastic, perfect for lounging and relaxing. However, for over 2,000 baht a night, with a small room, no wet/dry separation, and humidity, plus facilities that aren't brand new – while not bad overall – the value for money is indeed low. I'm not sure if this is the standard price point for hotels in Ko Samui~"
