"I booked via trip.com to enjoy the easy management of bookings and discounts. The hotel contacted me soon after confirmation of booking via email and whatsapp. Scenery was needless to say - beautiful and serene. Service was 100/100. Truly enjoyed every moment and were well taken care of from check in, to villa, to joining spa/ all activities until the moment of checking out. Special thanks to the recreation staff Jate, who took us for a walk around the hotel, sailed us out to the ocean and took lots of nice photos! Very kind hearted and humorous! Shout out to our villa host, Abby, who curated a memorable stay for us, giving my fiance a special birthday surprise, and always taking care of us for our itinerary and booking transportation/ restaurants! Thanks to the in-villa dining staff, Bungie, for hosting us a memorable private dining experience at the infinity point. Spa was good as always, with nice villa for each couple and outstanding service and massage skills, as well as well-being rituals. 10/10 recommend and would definitely come back!"

"The service was terrible. We were told our room would be changed at 11 AM, and the butler even repeatedly reminded us to be ready by then. We packed our bags on time and waited, but no one came to pick us up. They were completely unpunctual and made us wait for over half an hour in the heat, completely wasting our time. For a price of 10,000 RMB a night, this experience was truly disappointing; we didn't receive the service we paid for. To make matters worse, the complimentary dessert on the first night was covered in tiny bugs, and they didn't even bother to cover it. Just awful."

"I had a wonderful stay at Conrad Koh Samui, where the service was excellent from start to finish. Ms. Zye and Mr. Thip were very professional, helpful, and kind and Ms. Nakhwan who drove us to our rooms gave a room tour and the entire experience was smooth and informative. The room that I booked was the Sunset Pool Villa and the whole atmosphere and environment was beyond my expectations. Ms. Pleng, Ms. Ja, and Mr. Mark provided excellent rides around the resort. The rides were smooth and comfortable, and both were friendly, professional, and attentive, which added greatly to the overall experience. The Dining experience here was remarkably pleasant, definitely worth to have a bite during the stay. The room service provided is excellent to the point that it feels too good. The atmosphere throughout the resort was calm, pleasant, and relaxing, making it an ideal place to unwind. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for top-tier service and a peaceful luxury getaway. I’ll be coming back to celebrate the new years with Conrad Koh Samui, the place got me hooked"

"I stayed at Conrad and Kimpton hotels on this trip to Koh Samui. There's no harm in comparing them. The hotel's location isn't difficult to find; just follow Google Maps for directions. It's very close to Fisherman Village. Check-in was smooth. The lobby is stylish and unique. Being off-season, it was less crowded, and the overall environment was peaceful. However, upon entering the room, I noticed the hotel wasn't well maintained. The paint on the bathtub was peeling. The pool and the wooden floor outside the room were warped and uneven. The stone in the pool is very easy to cut. When I was about to shower after a dip, I found there wasn't enough hot water. It's hard to imagine such issues at this price point. Also, the room design made it difficult to open my luggage. My 26-inch and 20-inch luggage had to be handled by the coffee machine in the hallway. The beach sand was very coarse, and I couldn't walk barefoot for a few steps without wearing flip-flops. I also saw a lot of anglers, which was a bit strange and detracted from the experience. In the evening, I watched the fire show at the hotel bar. It was nothing like the one in Chaweng. It felt perfunctory and not exciting at all. The hotel has numerous sweet spots, offering 24-hour ice cream and drinking water. The staff are friendly and proactive. However, the amenities don't justify the room rate. It feels like a purely check-in hotel. If you're not particularly fond of the W brand, there are other better options."

"The hotel is amazing, especially the service! Every detail demonstrates how much the staff cares about the guest experience. The hotel even provides an app that allows guests to communicate with staff for various services, such as spa and restaurant bookings, as well as information about hotel amenities. While being close to nature does mean there are some mosquitoes and insects, the hotel thoughtfully provides guests with items like mosquito repellent, coils, and cream for bites. Although the restaurant selection is limited, it’s more than sufficient. Dining on the rock offers an incredible view at the edge of the hill, overlooking the ocean and nearby islands. The other restaurant, Dining on the Hill, has a relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by grass and a pond. I will definitely recommend Six Senses Koh Samui!"

"I spent a week at Cape Fahn, a private island resort in Thailand, and it was unforgettable. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the views were breathtaking. Dining at Long Dtai restaurant was a highlight, with exceptional Southern Thai cuisine and fresh seafood. The serene atmosphere and excellent service made my stay delightful. I can't wait to return for my next vacation."

"We had a tropical canopy room which was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The gardens and grounds were very well kept. The resort was very child orientated. There were lots of young families there which is great for families but it wasn't best suited to us as a couple. There was lots of choice for breakfast and the setting on the beach was lovely. But there were young children screaming and running everywhere. Perhaps a section for adults only would be a good idea. We never ate at the restaurant. Partly as we enjoy eating in local restaurants but also because food and drink was 5 times the price compared to most other places and what we did have certainly wasn't 5 times the quality. In addition to this, the staff in the bar weren't particularly friendly or welcoming which is strange as the staff at breakfast were attentive and all the maids, garden and maintenance staff were so friendly. There was an adult only pool but it was quite small although in all fairness, beds did become available throughout the day. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel for couples as I would say that it is definitely more suited to young families."

"First off, my inaugural trip to Koh Samui was full of delightful surprises. Over 95% of the tourists here are Westerners, with only a small number of Chinese visitors. The overall quality of tourists is high, and the city's service-oriented mindset is strong. Secondly, choosing Centara Resort brought another big surprise to my trip. I booked a bit late, so only a garden-view twin room was available, but it was still great. I could see the pool, the beach, and coconut trees right from my balcony. **Location:** Just a ten-minute drive from the airport, making transportation very convenient. Chaweng Beach, Samui's best beach, is right outside. Within a 15-minute walk, you can reach Chaweng Night Market, the bar street, shopping areas, massage parlors, Tops supermarket, Starbucks, and more. **Service:** Full marks for service! From the moment you step into the hotel, you're greeted by a warm and enthusiastic front desk staff. They offer turndown service and a welcome fruit platter with mangoes, oranges, apples, passion fruit, etc. The room also includes complimentary hotel-exclusive nasal inhalers, which are the best I've tried in Thailand – I bought 10 more at check-out. The toiletries, shower gel, and shampoo all have a rich essential oil scent. As a bonus, there's a 'surprise button' on the room's landline phone; press it, and you get a surprise treat every day. The fridge is stocked with over four kinds of complimentary soft drinks, daily nuts, and banana chips, plus a facial mist. The restaurant also has a Chinese menu. **Dining:** Breakfast offers a daily special dish alongside à la carte and buffet options. Over four days, I tried four different special dishes, including Northern Thai noodles, soup noodles, and Tom Yum noodles. For afternoon tea and dinner, the hotel has two more restaurants: one specializing in Thai cuisine and another by the beach focusing on Western dishes. Both are exquisite and delicious. The Thai restaurant offers a set menu for two, which takes the guesswork out of ordering and is good value for money. **Recreation:** There are two swimming pools, a gym, and more. Plenty of daybeds are available by the beach, and as soon as you lie down, someone brings you iced water. I also saw people ordering drinks and coconuts. I plan to try the spa next time. **Value for Money:** Traveling during the off-peak season, this hotel offers great value among the high-end options in Samui. Finally, I'm delighted I got to stay at a hotel like Centara and grateful to every Centara team member for their warm service, especially Manager Li, the airport driver, housekeepers, F&B staff, and beach service staff. **Recommendation Index:** 5 stars (out of 5)"

"A warm welcome from the reception staff and they were nice enough to bring us and our bags up to our room, good thing too as the hills within the hotel rooms are very steep. Extremely nice room, beautiful infinity pool overlooking Koh Samui. The breakfast is excellent with many choices you order off the menu rather than the traditional buffet style. The gym was also well equipt for a light workout. The only thing I will say is that this hotel is slightly difficult to access if you are on foot. Its not like you can take a 5 minute stroll to the main high street, its a long windy road with lots of hills and sharp turns, a car or scooter will be needed to get from the hotel to the town but aside from that its an excellent hotel and I would happily visit again."
