"All in all, hotel is good. But for this price I recommend you to go to Maldives. Sea is not suitable for swimming, quite dirty and a lot of rocks. Service is quite bad in all restaurants except 2 person: B and, unfortunately, don’t remember a girl’s name who was serving us after check-out in the bar. Also, we were going to next FS property in check out date and wanted a late check-out. How normally it works in real 5* property: you check out around 10 and go to any free villa on island till late check-out (they had free villas that day). And here we needed to wait 2 hours in the bar. Of course, I won’t choose this place again as it’s not you are expected when you know how it normally works in real good property."

"We stayed for two nights with our kids, and having just come from the Conrad, we naturally had some comparisons to make. 1. **Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, nestled in a private bay, which provides a fantastic environment and superb overall privacy. The bay is calm, perfect for swimming, and the water temperature is wonderfully warm. There are also many activities available, including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, and snorkeling. 2. **Rooms:** All the rooms are villas with private pools. After a day of swimming in the sea, you can enjoy a swim in your room's pool in the evening. Although the hotel has been open for a long time, there are no signs of aging; it's very well-maintained. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a quadruple shower head setup that could accommodate three people at once, and the water pressure was excellent. 3. **Service:** You can call for a buggy anytime, and it usually arrives in about 5 minutes. Anna was our butler, and she was wonderful, providing personalized butler service. She could handle all our bookings and requests. 4. **Dining:** Breakfast was just average. However, we had dinner at the Michelin-recommended Thai restaurant, and the food was delicious. You need to ask your butler to make a reservation for you at least a day in advance. Overall, we were very satisfied with Banyan Tree and would definitely stay here again on our next visit."

"Extremely satisfied! Very friendly to Chinese guests, even the breakfast menu is in Chinese. The butler service was excellent, helping us book restaurants and activities. The staff were all very enthusiastic. It wasn't too crowded, and the spa was great too. The location is perfect, not too far from outside restaurants and night markets. Highly recommend!"

"Overall, it was good, and the scenery was indeed stunning. The downside is that there's nothing around the hotel, and the all-day dining options were quite bad, though breakfast was decent. **Facilities:** The facilities were generally acceptable, but the TVs were extremely difficult for Chinese people to use. **Hygiene:** It was only a bit above average; it felt a bit aged, and there were many mosquitoes. **Environment:** The environment was absolutely beautiful. **Service:** One-on-one responses were very quick."

"The reason why booked this hotel because it is close to the golf course we’d visit pretty much everyday. The first thing my kids mentioned was that the hotel looks older than the previous one we had stayed at and they wanted to go back to that one. However, just after one day, this has become my kids FAVOURITE hotel ever. It all the staff and service~. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful, everyone really went out of their way to assist with anything and everything! My son ended up crying the night before and on the day we checked out because he really didn’t want to leave and understandably so! Although some of furniture are a bit worn and dated, everything else compensated for this. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff always remembered our drink orders. Can’t miss the fire show at the bar, that was super fun to watch A shout out to Mak, who would always drive us to and from everywhere around the hotel with always the most upbeat attitude, biggest smile and playing the best jams in his buggy! I guess it’ll be nice if the hotel offered kids amenities such as slippers, toothbrush etc Other than that it was perfect. We enjoyed this trip so much, on the night we arrived back home, we booked our next trip back to this hotel again in Feb of next year!"

"The hotel is amazing, especially the service! Every detail demonstrates how much the staff cares about the guest experience. The hotel even provides an app that allows guests to communicate with staff for various services, such as spa and restaurant bookings, as well as information about hotel amenities. While being close to nature does mean there are some mosquitoes and insects, the hotel thoughtfully provides guests with items like mosquito repellent, coils, and cream for bites. Although the restaurant selection is limited, it’s more than sufficient. Dining on the rock offers an incredible view at the edge of the hill, overlooking the ocean and nearby islands. The other restaurant, Dining on the Hill, has a relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by grass and a pond. I will definitely recommend Six Senses Koh Samui!"

"Just wanted to drop and share my experience about my stay at the Beachfront hotel on private island. Honestly, staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The room was cozy and over was had a great view of ocean Plus, the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. Our dinner was fabulous at Longdtai restaurant, Overall, it was a fantastic experience on private island, and I can’t wait to go back for next vacation."

"Ш We stayed with children and were happy with the experience. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for families with kids. The pool is large and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and attentive. The kids’ animation program is solid — children were entertained and happy. The hotel is on the beachfront, and the sand is clean and non-sticky — a big plus for Samui. The food was disappointing: the menu is repetitive, dishes are bland, and baked goods and snacks lack freshness and crunch. Bar and in-hotel food prices are clearly overpriced and don’t match the quality. The parking lot is very small, and a significant portion of spaces are taken up by hotel service vehicles, which is inconvenient for guests. The gym is tiny, with limited and outdated equipment. Overall impressions are positive, especially for a family holiday. We’d love to see the hotel grow: improve the cuisine, reconsider its pricing, and invest in its infrastructure. The potential is there — it just needs to be used."

"Our expectations were high and in the beginning it really seemed to be living up to them. First of all the staff is incredible - polite, smiling and helpful. The management was thoughtful and caring and the cleanliness was of the highest standard. When trying to use the pool during the day you will find it's impossible. Thai heat simply makes it unbearable and there's absolutely no cover from the sun - in my opinion poor design of the pool area that should have been considered during construction. Another thing is ordering a cocktail by the pool you get it in a plastic cup for water with decoration being a single piece of pineapple. Even the cheapest bars I used to visit would try harder to decorate the cocktail and in my opinion for the price we paid here it definitely shouldn't be served like this. Just seems like low value for money - same goes for the restaurant: We were told there was a barbecue event at the beach but actually it was only the normal menu of the restaurant just like every other day - price is simply too high for the presentation of the food which was just average. Breakfast was also underwhelming and a huge issue for me was the taste of the coffee! I don't know if it's due to desalinated sea water used as drinking water but americano had a horrible salty taste that was impossible to drink. In my opinion bottleded water must be used for the espresso machine because as such it is undrinkable. Finally the location of the resort itself isn't the best, the beach is tiny and rocky and to get anywhere you need to be driven in a buggy which you need to book and then wait. Many times I've witnessed peaople frustrated and give up on waiting for it and walk instead, as we done a few times also. Unfortunately overall I wouldn't plan on returning again even though the staff is exceptional."

"Ko Samui Hotel Review 🌴 Not great value for money at over 2,000 per night My immediate impression: the overall value for money just isn't there 💸. At over 2,000 baht a night, I think it's mediocre, even though Ko Samui's weather is incredibly comfortable and the climate is very livable. I feel the hotel's pricing is inflated, and I'm not sure why it's always fully booked. First, some objective points: I haven't compared it to other hotels in Ko Samui, so I'm not sure if the general prices are high across the board. Looking at this hotel specifically, it's not brand new; it's moderately aged but well-maintained, which is acceptable. 📍 Location & Environment The location and surrounding environment are flawless. It's quiet and peaceful overall. The private beach has very few people, so you don't have to deal with crowds. If you get up early, you can catch a stunning sunrise over the sea 🌅. After 4 or 5 PM, the temperature drops, and the sea breeze is cool, making it super comfortable for a walk and unwinding. 🏨 Room Accommodation Experience The room is about 40 square meters, so it's not particularly spacious. The biggest drawback is the bathroom's lack of a separate wet and dry area ❌. The bathroom's cleanliness is average, and the shower area isn't very well-maintained. Every time I showered, the entire room would get damp, and there was no dehumidifier. It felt muggy and humid, which really detracted from the experience. I stayed in a garden view room, not a genuine sea view, but the view was still decent, and I could see the sea in the distance. 🍽️ Breakfast & Service The breakfast selection is incredibly rich, with many options. The hotel staff are also very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. ⚠️ But be sure to go early for breakfast; if you go later, it gets very crowded, and the experience directly declines. 🏊 Pool Facilities There are two pools in the complex, very well laid out~ One large pool, perfect for photos and swimming; One small adults-only pool, quiet and suitable for relaxation. 🎁 Hidden Bonus Highlight Complimentary drinks in the room 🥂. The entire minibar is free to use. There's also a daily 'little surprise,' which was the biggest highlight overall. Overall Summary The resort environment and beach atmosphere are fantastic, perfect for lounging and relaxing. However, for over 2,000 baht a night, with a small room, no wet/dry separation, and humidity, plus facilities that aren't brand new – while not bad overall – the value for money is indeed low. I'm not sure if this is the standard price point for hotels in Ko Samui~"
