First Residence Hotel ★★★
"The room was clean and tidy, and there's a swimming pool downstairs. It's about a 300-meter walk to the beach, and you'll pass a 7-Eleven-like convenience store on the way. Head north and you'll find a lively street with a night market in the evenings. For Koh Samui, this hotel offers incredible value for money."

"Good location. Big hotel Small bad and restaurant area with pool. Right on the beach so pretty good view. Overall nice place clean good staff"
Samui First House Hotel ★★★
Samui First House is the perfect place for guests to truly enjoy the authentic beauty of nature. Plus, since it’s just a stone’s throw away from the shopping and entertainment areas, you can get there in a breeze.
Chaweng Cove Beach Resort ★★★
"This is a good place, with excellent service, but the rooms desperately need renovation. The bathroom, and especially the shower, no longer meet minimum standards. The window didn't have a handle, and that's the only way to ventilate the room. I stayed at this hotel two years ago, and they were remodeling, but it seems they only did the rooms facing the beach. The breakfast was good. The location is fine; it's quieter south of Chaweng. The pool is good too. The bar is beautiful."
Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort Koh Samui ★★★
"Hi, That was are second time to be guest of this hotel and after 9 years nothing changed .Rooms very dark with little amount of light . Swimming pool's are closed after 20:00 .For the time being this hotel is off dated .When owner will decide to do some renovation I can go back there. Regards Dawid"
Hi Samui Hostel ★★
"I enjoyed my stay at Hi Samui Hostel. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. It's a bit quiet now as they’ve just reopened under new ownership, but it’s shaping up to be a great spot once everything is finalized. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves!"
Samui Verticolor ★★★
Boasting a bold and colorful modern design, this hotel features spacious, minimalist rooms just a short walk from the southern end of Chaweng Beach. It’s a fantastic mid-range choice for travelers looking for a stylish getaway, complete with a large lap pool and great value for money.

J4 Samui Hotel
"J4 Samui Hotel & Resort – Highly Recommended First of all, I would like to say a big thank you to a staff member named Bew. She is absolutely fantastic. I accidentally left my bank cards in an envelope inside the safety box. She tried to contact me when I was already in Bangkok, and then kindly sent everything to my address in Bangkok. I truly appreciate what she did — 5-star customer service for her. The room was small but very cozy. I loved the candle scent in the room; it was so relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and extremely clean. I also liked the old-style furniture, which gave a very traditional Thai feeling. The location is excellent — only a 1-minute walk to the beach. I had a great stay for 4 nights and would definitely recommend this hotel. I would happily stay here again."
Bhundhari Resort & Villas Samui
"Nice and clean, comfy bungalows with modern styling bathroom with bathtub, sink and toilet with peekaboo windows from room, and outdoor shower with rack for hanging wet towels and swimming wear. Nice terrace with table and chairs to sit outside and enjoy fresh morning air, and lovely evenings. The staff is very friendly and the ladies in the restaurant were very gracious. The 3 tiered pools were lovely with gorgeous view. The middle one needed some cleaning of leaves that blew down from the wind. The hot water filled only half the tub, but after waiting 15min the water heater was able to fill up the rest of the tub, which was enjoyable and worth the extra effort. Good value and comfortable."

Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort
"Overall a pleasant experience"
Guan Yu Boutique Hotel
Aloha Resort
"This is my favorite hotel in Thailand, hands down! Definitely a huge recommendation from me! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. No hair dryer, but I didn't really need one. There's a balcony with a wooden drying rack, a small table, and two chairs. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, as we ate at local cafes, and the prices were reasonable for the island. Everything is within walking distance. Right around the corner, to the right, there's a wonderful cafe with amazing duck dishes. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and polite. Housekeeping and towel changes were done daily. Everything was clean. The only downside was the lack of a view from the window – just a wall. However, the beach and pool, just a two-minute walk away, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel more than made up for it. A big thank you! We will definitely be back!"
White Sand Samui Resort

Matcha Samui Resort
"Because of it‘s central location it‘s easy to get to Restaurants and Central Samui, but it‘s also quite noisy at night because of nearby bars."
Celes Samui

You'll surely appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, a sauna, and a fitness center. Additional perks at this hotel include complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and babysitting (with a surcharge).
Crystal Lamai Hotel
"The good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively quiet. The pool was nice. The gym was very barebone, however, with almost no equipment inside. It is not located on the beach, you need to walk about 10 minutes, which is not bad. However, there is no place for you to sit on the beach as almost everywhere is occupied by bars or beach front resorts. The main problem I found with the hotel is its surrounding and its location. The hotel is not located at the lively market which is much further away and difficult to access by walking due to heavy traffic (I had to go to the beach every day and walk along the shore). I really struggled to find good food near the hotel and only had an ice cream for lunch. Also the hotel is located quite far from almost all attractions in Lamai aside from the beach, such as Guan-Yu shrine, red temple, Hin Ta Hin Yai, etc., and the taxi is very costly here. Also if you want to go to Chaweng beach it's almost 400 baht by taxi. I would recommend this hotel provided you have your own mode of transportation."
The Briza Beach Resort, Samui
"The hotel was nice, but needs upgrading as the room was partially updated, but they should have done it all, as it looks odd. Identity was not clear as looked old and new as the same time. Hot water was not working for 2 days of the stay. Service was good overall and porters took our bags to room which was great as there were lots of steps and our room was at the end of the complex. The door to room was old and opening the door was an art. Rooms were large and beds comfortable. I think the worst part was we went to the BBQ and fire show on the last night. We thought as we were going on flight to the net island we would be safe at the hotel. I had the seafood BBQ and the food tasted and looked overcooked. I ate some but left quite a bit. In the night is was very ill and in the morning i told the staff as we left. She rang the manager and she said that they could not do anything as nobody else has been ill and reported it. It was 6am as we had an early flight. I have been to many hotels and if this was the case, they would have accepted my word. I was not after the refund of the meal as this would not help my situation. But more the acknowledgement of their failure to provide quality food on the night, especially considering the rating of the hotel. I ended up being ill for another night. I could not eat for another day and i had a trip to Phi Phi island the following day. I was up all night, but with medication i was able to go on the trip. I dont think the hotel realised the impact their poor food had on my experience and holiday. I would say it was very poor service and if nobody else complained, as most people dont, they would not accept responsibility. Also, they put the onus on my to email them to see if anyone else was ill, before they would do anything. That is just terrible customer service. Who ever the manager is need to be retrained and taught about how to treat customers who have had a bad experience."
The Kala Samui
"No private beach but everything else is good. Near enough to city centre by Grab. Service was excellent"
