The Stay Chaweng Beach Resort ★★★★
"I must say one of the best stays for my entire thailand trip its very well maintained and v well managed so highly recommended guys."
First Residence Hotel ★★★
"had a pleasant stay at First Residence Hotel. The room was clean and the location was convenient, making it easy to get around. What really stood out was the staff, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The facilities are quite basic, so don’t expect luxury, but for the price it offers good value. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place with excellent service, I’d happily recommend it."
Samui Beach Hostel ★★
"We stayed here and there is no electricity for the whole day, no water at all, everything sucks. The staff told us that the electrocity maintenance for 2 hours but thats ********. The whole day without electricity. Also the floor very oily like…. I dont want to stay here anymore"
Coral Cliff Beach Resort Samui ★★★★
"Hotel service is amazing. Rooms are clean and there are enough pillows on the beds. The private beach, coral reefs and fish were amazing to experience. Only downside is the amount of stairs to take to get to the beach. Would definitely recommend."

Hi Samui Hostel
"It was very clean. However, I was disappointed that there was no hair dryer, but other than that it was perfect so I was satisfied."
Lamoon Lamai Residence & Guesthouse
"Great hotel, around a 5 minute walk from the centre and the beach. We travelled as a couple and found the hotel one of our favourites after 1 month in Thailand. Would highly recommend great value for money"
Napasai Samui Residence
"Pros 1. Very friendly and cheerful staff 2. Great facilities including tennis court , gym, badminton , beach volleyball and all sorts of water activities. We picked the resort because it has two well maintained tennis courts. Not a lot offer that in Samui. 3. Our beach front villa is big and beddings are very comfortable. The location of the hotel is a bit far from central happening places but not an issue for us as we enjoyed the tranquility. Cons. 1. On our first day our shower sewage was clogged and flooded. Staff came late night, fixed, and left a mess behind. House cleaning came next day to clean but again left cleaning tools behind. Things happen I understand but this shows some areas of training is quite needed. Another day our toilet also got clogged and flooded. Not exactly what we envisioned for paying USD.1000 plus per night. 2. Staff’s english might need more training also . Again , not a big issue if we try again and again. 3. Food is quite expensive in the premise. Thankfully there are other options outside of hotel for a small walk or ride. Breakfast spread is good but might need some change after a few days. Overall, we enjoyed our stay thanks to hotel staff trying their best for giving their guests a memorable holiday. y"
Fair House Villas & Spa, Koh Samui
"Incredible ! For our honeymooon the best hôtel luxury 😍😍😍😍"
Sandalwood Luxury Villa Resort
"Rated location a 5/5, not because it is just a doorstep away from popular night markets, or just beside a beach, or the steep slope up to the villa, but because of the amazing view point it provides and the quiet sanctuary we are looking for in a retreat! The resort does offer free shuttles to areas in coral cove and (our favourite) crystal bay, which is great. Service (receptionist through WhatsApp, and drivers, cleaning) was very prompt and fuss free. Room was spacious and comfortable, facilities (eg bathroom, jacuzzi) were clean. Will definitely visit again! Thanks for making our retreat an enjoyable one."
The Library
Take a refreshing dip in one of the 2 outdoor pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a fitness center. Additional perks at this hotel include complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and babysitting (with a surcharge).
MM Hill Koh Samui Hotel
"Excellent!"
Khun Chaweng Resort
"A good hotel right in the centre of Chaweng beach, there’s a lot of bars around and can get noisy but we had a room at the back near the pool and couldn’t hear anything from outside at night. The hotel was clean and had lots of good restaurants just along the street so was perfect for us"
3 Tigers Resort & Hostel
"I liked how the air conditioning works; you can set it to the minimum and sleep comfortably. The fridge also cools very well, which is very important! The amenities are excellent. In the evening, you can sit on the veranda in the yard."
Utopia Resort
"If you have ever dreamed of staying in a cottage at the beach, this is the place for you! It isn’t new, but so charming! The cottage we stayed in was just steps from the beach. We could make a cup of coffee and have that first sip as we watched the waves roll in. At night, we loved sitting on our porch with a refreshment. The resort is within walking distance of the fabulous night market where it is easy to find something new to try for supper every night."
Crystal Lamai Hotel
"The good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively quiet. The pool was nice. The gym was very barebone, however, with almost no equipment inside. It is not located on the beach, you need to walk about 10 minutes, which is not bad. However, there is no place for you to sit on the beach as almost everywhere is occupied by bars or beach front resorts. The main problem I found with the hotel is its surrounding and its location. The hotel is not located at the lively market which is much further away and difficult to access by walking due to heavy traffic (I had to go to the beach every day and walk along the shore). I really struggled to find good food near the hotel and only had an ice cream for lunch. Also the hotel is located quite far from almost all attractions in Lamai aside from the beach, such as Guan-Yu shrine, red temple, Hin Ta Hin Yai, etc., and the taxi is very costly here. Also if you want to go to Chaweng beach it's almost 400 baht by taxi. I would recommend this hotel provided you have your own mode of transportation."
Casa de Mar - Koh Samui
Staying at Casa De Mar puts you in a central location in Koh Samui, just a 5-minute drive from Chaweng Beach and Bangrak Pier. This beach hotel is 6.5 mi (10.5 km) from Lamai Beach and 2.6 mi (4.1 km) from Choeng Mon Beach.
Samui Bayview Resort & Spa
"Excellent hotel! The staff were pleasant and very helpful! We will definitely be back!"
The Bay Samui
"The accommodation was a bit poor."
