The Stay Chaweng Beach Resort
"This hotel from the starters fantastic! Awesome customer service and very friendly and helpful! Nothing was to much trouble also gave great recommendations on were to eat and go! Rooms were spotless although on the smaller sideburns enough space for 2 people and having the balcony was a great addition. Breakfast was not a massive variety but what they had was excellent. Location was right in the middle of Chaweng and could not have been a more central location. Would definitely recommend The Stay to any body! Also great view just to chill and have a smoke overlooking the ocean"

Bhundhari Chaweng Beach Resort Koh Samui
"The hotel is just a few meters away from the beach. We had the balcony with no sea view and still got to see the ocean. It was beautiful would definitely stay here again. Although I would recommend to air out the room first as we dealt with humidity smell for the first two nights."
La Vida Samui
"Front desk: super friendly. 300 baht for loss card though so don’t lose it! WiFi worked well for my phone but I couldn’t sign in on the computer. A small strip of beach right in the back of the resort. It’s east facing so if you happen to be up around 5:30-6:30 it’s a great place to watch the sunrise if it isn’t cloudy. Breakfast starts at seven but they put the juice and water out before that. I got talked to as I tried to get the juice and ice water before the time. I also got talked to when I tried to bring an uneaten plate of fruit to my room after breakfast. That did annoy me I must say. It’s a little bit away from central samui (matters in the heat) but you got your own little strip of beach and it’s nice so I think it’s fine. The toilet lid was cheap feeling . Light seeped through a little bit in the morning. Important if you are partying until later . No real night light. If you can get it at a good price I would say go for it; there are better values out there for the nicer more expensive rooms."

"Do not recommend the place, dust is everywhere , as well as bugs on the floor, the place needs some renovation, but location is perfect"

Chaweng Cove Beach Resort
"Booked a superior room no balcony, which I didn’t think meant that it overlooked a busy road where day and night there’s lots of traffic. The double window and my earplugs didn’t help, got waken up many times during the night. I asked for a quiet room, but my request did not get fulfilled. Cons: - very noisy, on a busy road in central Chaweng - Room is definitely not “superior”, that’s just marketing - very lifeless looking room, no pictures, no decor, just a plain max 2-star place - breakfast feels cheap, no vegan options, lukewarm tea water, bad coffee - not worth the price, wouldn’t come back Pros: - restaurant area looks really nice and well taken care of, overlooking the beach - bungalow area looks nice (no idea how the bungalows are from the inside though) - sun beds and umbrellas included - AC is good and quite silent - you get beach towels"
Samui Beach Hostel
"We stayed here and there is no electricity for the whole day, no water at all, everything sucks. The staff told us that the electrocity maintenance for 2 hours but thats ********. The whole day without electricity. Also the floor very oily like…. I dont want to stay here anymore"
Baan Khao Hua Jook
"could be better and some things coul be improved, difficult to find the light switches, no plug at the waterheater, shower has slow draining drain resulting in flooding the bathroom. Poor service at the swimmingpool. Price quality ok, it is what it is if you stay just a night or two."
Crystal Lamai Hotel
"The good thing about the hotel is that it is relatively quiet. The pool was nice. The gym was very barebone, however, with almost no equipment inside. It is not located on the beach, you need to walk about 10 minutes, which is not bad. However, there is no place for you to sit on the beach as almost everywhere is occupied by bars or beach front resorts. The main problem I found with the hotel is its surrounding and its location. The hotel is not located at the lively market which is much further away and difficult to access by walking due to heavy traffic (I had to go to the beach every day and walk along the shore). I really struggled to find good food near the hotel and only had an ice cream for lunch. Also the hotel is located quite far from almost all attractions in Lamai aside from the beach, such as Guan-Yu shrine, red temple, Hin Ta Hin Yai, etc., and the taxi is very costly here. Also if you want to go to Chaweng beach it's almost 400 baht by taxi. I would recommend this hotel provided you have your own mode of transportation."
Coco Palm Beach Resort
"Lovely"
Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa
"Good hotel. It's like a jungle with all the plants, but I wasn't bothered by insects or other critters."
Samui Bayview Resort & Spa
"Excellent hotel! The staff were pleasant and very helpful! We will definitely be back!"
